4.0 Bottle at Las Buenas Pulgas, served in a balloon glass. Black colour, minimal beige head with short retention and some lacing. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, red and dried fruits. Medium body, creamy texture, flat carbonation. Sweet finish. Taste follows the aroma. Very good ine.
3.5 330ml bottle at Taube Rankweil. Appearance is dark black with a thick brown foam. Aroma is chocolate, coffee, hay, toffee. Sweet, light bitter. Creamy, dry. Very nice.
3.7 Black pour with a thin beige head and nice silky lacing ….. aroma of milk chocolate, lactose, vanilla, roasted malts, coffee, caramel malts and dark fruits ….. taste is of milk chocolate, lactose, roasted malts, caramel malts, coffee, dark fruits, think dates …. Has some vanilla to it …. Simple, drinks a tad bigger than a porter … silky, oily and slick so it comes off a bit stout ish but the body isn’t huge …. Nice dessert porter
4.2 chocolate and coffee creamy with a touch of an industrial oil taste. malty and honey sweet this is dark and decadent brew. special and demonstrative and yet not haughty. lingering flavor keeps it highly satisfying. $6 at the THREES BREWING store at Moynihan train hall NYC.
3.3 The smell of malt, soy sauce, brown sugar. The rather large beige creamy head has a long duration, the body is black. The taste is malty, some coffee and soy sauce. The body is medium strong, rather creamy with a soft carbonation.
3.8 Oily black with a short head. Aroma of boozy malt and dark fruit. Flavour is velvet chocolate, blackberries on a toasted malt base, long roast chocolate finish. Dense oily texture.
4.2 From bottle in porter glass. Pours like motor oil w/a dark brown head, aroma of roast malt. Rich taste of milk choc, blackberry & cherry, but sweetness not too cloying, creamy mouthfeel. Excellente'
3.7 Bottle. Med-full body, med-high carbonation. Fully malty, lots of chocolatey, moderate coffee, med-light toffee, caramel. Good, easy drinking, only light warmth. But I liked the malt character of Õhtu better. Good one.
3.9 Very smooth, creamy and well balanced. Milky coffee, gentle bitterness and fruity tang. Good value for the quality too.
3.7 Lekkere porter.
3.9 From 330ml bottle on 18/12/2021, pours a deep deep brown with a light tan head. Has a big dark choc, dark fruit nose. Tastes of dark chocolate, dried fruit with a hint of licorice. Has a moderate tangy, dark fruit bitterness. A very good Baltic Porter.
3.6 Bottle. Very dark brown with a tan head that fades to the rim from a cm. Roasty aroma with blackberries, chocolate, fudge. Pretty much how it tastes. Somewhat vague palate but nice flavours. Bitterness struggles to escape the sweetness. Pretty good but nowhere near their best.
3.9 On tap at Tørst. Pours black with a dense tan head. Liquorice, coffee, blueberry, sweet milky coffee, cherry, toast, plum. Good full body. Good.
Corpo medio e poco carbonazione.
4.0 0,33l bottle from Gradi Plato beer shop in Rome, drinking 12/11/2021 BB14042023 Pours a pretty dark black body with thin brown head and very little sticky lacing. Aroma is really intense of chocolate and roasted malt, coffee, slightly smoky, berries, prunes and dark fruits, caramel, nuts, milk, vanilla. Taste is intense and rich sweet at first with roasted and caramel malts and chocolate, coffee, dark fruits, milk, vanilla and a roasty quite bitter finish to wonderfully seal everything up. Lots of taste and rich sweet and bitter notes, lots of coffee and milk chocolate. Coffee aftertaste. Full body and thick oily texture, moderate carbonation. Deliciously tasty and drinkable, not too sweet neither bitter, really amazing.
3.9 0.33 l bottle. Black color with brown head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, roasted malt, dried fruits. Roasted and bitter end.
3.8 0.33l bottle. Black color with stable brown head. Aroma of brown sugar, figs, coffee, cherries, roasted malt, chocolate milk and vanilla. Taste is sweet and little bitter.
4.1 What a nice treat here. Very dark brown. A little roasty for a porter, sublte coffee and berry notes, chocolate, lactic like a cream stout.
3.8 Pours opaque cola brown with a 2-finger tan head. Aroma has notes of nutty and caramel malts, with some roast in it. Full-bodied. A touch oily, but smooth. Long finish. Malty sweet flavor up front, with nutty notes mixed in. A bit of a roasty note shows at the back.
3.9 Kawa, czekolada deserowa, mleczna czekolada, kawa zbożowa i nieco ciemnych owoców.
Finsiz palony, lekko goryczkowy. Dobre piwo, palone, całkiem miękkie, nuty czekoladowo-kawowe przeplatają się z owocowością.
3.9 Amazing porter. Black color, medium-sized , beige head. Dark chocolate, coffee and roasted malt in the aroma. Balanced, malty taste with strong roasted bitterness at the end.
3.0 Very pleasant and drinkable porter. Not as spectacular as some of the cellar series but likely to order again.
3.3 bottle. dark brown, brown head. strong aroma of choclate, coffee, toffee, resembles a dark dessert chocolate with toffee and coffee. flavor is basically a really nice porter, add some flavors like charred wood, vanilla, chocolate, dark caramel. flavor centers arond dark chocolate toffee, which i don't like so i also don't like the beer very much. apart from the chocolate its a fine porter though, i like the faint charred woody note. i think it is the dark burned carmel bitterness that makes me not like the beer. in my book this is hell no a top 50 beer. phjala has made many beers that taste way better than this one.
4.4 Atomkőolaj. Földgázszintézis. Kakaóbabosbögre. Epres milka. Tömjéntörmeteg. Csokolándypraliné. Desszertaroma. Selyemtajték. Kőszénmetál. Koromkarom.
3.2 Helt sort opague, tynd beige skum.
