3.0 12 fl oz bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Fruity, peachy and light hoppy. Herbal and grapefruity to citrusy. Bitter, mild spiced and light estery finish.
3.4 From a twelve pack of six different brews. Drank from a twelve ounce bottle. Light aromas of wheat. A well put together, smooth belgian white. A really good smooth summer brew!
3.7 The body has a hazy or cloudy look with a fairly dark tan/yellow color. On top sits a small white head which fades slowly and coats the glass with slick lacing. Some spots of lace stick to the glass as I drink. It has a big tangy wheat presence with some notes lemon zest and grassy/citrusy hops. There seems to be a slight hint of bubble gum as well. It starts with a very wheaty/bready base and adds notes of citrus zest and mild light spice. Hop flavor and bitterness is light and complementary with citrus notes of its own. The finish has a mellow semi dry citrus hop bitterness. On the tongue it has a good smooth medium feel but with a lively carbonation too.
3.6 Pours a hazy golden color with white head. Raw wheat, oats, some spice, and a little yeast on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with just a bit of sweetness.
2.1 not my type of beer but i give it a go because i got it on the cheap from beer 52 as i said i’m not a great fan of the Belgian beers so i don’t think i will go for i t again
3.0 Pours hazy light gold with a foamy finger of head. Aroma is banana, wheat, yeast and a hint of spiced orange. A bit light on flavour complexity, with only very basic Belgian wit flavours and a semi sweet crisp finish. Despite the shortcomings it fits the bill and is refreshing beer nonetheless.
2.9 Bottle - small foamy head, bright light gold color, mild spice aroma and flavor, mild wheat, mild orange, light and refreshing overall
2.7 12 oz bottle from backlog notes 07/08. Pours a hazy yellow golden color with a small white head. The aroma and flavor have wheat malts, coriander, mild orange citrus, yeast, lightly toasted. This was low average at best.
2.9 Clear orange gold color, minimal lacing, some citrus and wheat aromas with some citrus , prance and wheat funk flavors and a long wheats finish.
3.6 Bottle. A- Wheat, lemons, oranges. A- Yellow color, cloudy liquid, white head. T- Wheat, lemons, subtle spices. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, crisp finish. O- Not bad, but lacking a lot. The spice, especially the coriander was not present and needed to be a lot more upfront. Even the orange notes could have been greater. It was a refreshing beer, but just lacked a lot of qualities that could have made it a great beer.
1.8 Bottle at home from brew 52 UK version hazy, sweet grainy golden beer, minimal white lacing, touch of corriander seed, underattenuated, wet cardboard, cereal, sweet, no wheat or spice character, poor.
3.1 Sweet aroma of coriander and spices. Hazy off-yellow. Thin head, minimal lacing. Full bodied representation of class. Slight sweet/fruit taste. Enjoyable
3.4 Bottle thanks to s_hartshorne. Cloudy pale yellow. Aroma of coriander, lemon and wheat. Taste is citrus orange, yeast, coriander and wheat. Decent beer.
3.1 Pour from a 12 oz bottle. Clear yellow brew with white head. Belgian profile aroma with yeast and banana overtones, some coriander and spice. Taste follows the nose. Not bad.
2.6 light - Belgian white,,,, good over all,, bread, spruce, citrus, floral, hay, dough, clove, golden, amber, clear, white foam, frothy, lightly bitter, light body, thin feel, lively, average carbonation,
3.1 It poured a cloudy yellow color with a white head. The aroma was of coriander, citrus peel, some hints of banana and malts. The taste was similar with a strong graininess and a little tart in finish. Decent.
3.0 Bottle rhythm+booze. Yellow white colour no head. Aroma is wheat. Taste is wheat slight orange and some corriander spice. Smooth mouthfeel low carbonation. Nice enough.
2.9 @ Party Town / Florence KY - Cloudy light amber with no head, no lace. Taste is wheat and malt that is joined by sour lemonade and a light touch of spice. Not a lot going on here, but nothing offensive either. Typical of Point Brewery offerings.
3.2 The color of this beer is a cloudy light yellow color with a medium white head that fades faster than it should, and the aroma is a strong blend of wheat and citrus (most specifically lemos but hints of oranges come through), which is a bit too sweet on the nose. The taste is quite sweet and slightly sour but isn’t packed to fully with flavor, and the mouthfeel combines a slick texture, medium body, soft carbonation, and an abrupt finish.
3.0 Bottle - Hazy yellow golden with a foamy white head. Nose is white pepper and coriander, sweet wheat, and a little dusty yeastiness. Taste is sweet and spicy, with more of the coriander and pepper. Mellow orange citrus, and sweet, wheaty finish. Thin and well-carbonated.
2.7 Pours a straw yellow with a thick foamy head. Aroma is wheat with nice Belgian yeastiness. Flavor follows. A bit thin mildly bitter. Decent beer.
2.9 355ml bottle at home, claims to be 5.4%. Pours clear pale yellow, no head to speak of. Decent enough aromas, certainly some dried orange in there, and wheat/cereal aromas. No spice notes though. Taste is towards the sweet and a little bland. Finishes thin. OK.
1.4 I?ve tasted good Belgian Whites. And I?ve tasted bad Belgian Whites. This is definitely not the former. I would not hesitate to recommend this to people who have pissed me off in the past (in-laws, ex-girlfriends, the pope, etc.) For my "friends" I will recommend Blatz. Or not. Maybe I?ll give them some of this swill and hoard the good stuff, AKA Blatz for my bad self. Indeed, that is what I will do.
3.0 Cloudy pale yellow body with a thin white head. Aroma is a pleasant spiced citrus. Taste is citrus, nutmeg & slight hops. Finish with a faint hops that fades quick. Not bad.
3.0 Bottle from Rhythm & Booze, Ripon. Pours hazy golden white a white head. Drinkable, but far from an amazing wheat beer. Some of the orange zest comes through and the coriander too, but otherwise a bit bland.
3.3 11th May 2013 Hazy pale gold beer, little white head. Palate is light, dry and a little crisp. Light dry pale malt, sweet. Yeasty estery banana. Light generic fruits. Dry pale malt finish. Okay.
2.9 Bottle from Post Office Vaults, Birmingham. The right colour for a Belgian white but lacking le head de foam. Crisp, pleasant and citrus but a bit watery and lacking finish. Average.
2.3 Bottle, from Rhythm & Booze, Barton upon Humber. Hazy lemon gold, thin shortlived white head and gentle condition. Low spicy corriander and trace wheatiness in the nose, slightly more assertive in the mouth but still not shouting witbier very loud, slightly spicy and a little grain. Finish is briefly spicy then is gone.
2.8 Bottle. Appearance: vibrant yellow. Small white head. Aroma: Soapy, yeasty, a hint of banana, coriander, small hint of lemon. Flavour: yeasty, banana, a little lemon zest, a little wet cardboard. Meh.
3.0 Ok-ish Begian style wit, some orange peel and slight spice, but bland compared to others
