3.212 oz bottle for 25 cents from Hy Vee Wine & Spirits in downtown Muscatine. Dark orange and clear appearance with a small off-white head. Aroma of grass, pine, light soap, herbal hops, toasted grains and floral notes. Similar flavor, adding some citrus zest and a mild to moderate spicy hop bitterness. Average body with a light dry finish. Decent pale ale overall.
3.912 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 2/18/2015. Pours slightly hazy golden straw color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, light pine, cracker, bread, light honey, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of bright citrus/pine hops and moderate pale malt notes; with good strength. Taste of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, cracker, bread, light honey, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of pine/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon/orange peel, pineapple, pine, cracker, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish fora good bit. Damn nice robustness and complexity of bright citrus/pine hops and moderate pale malt flavors; with a nice crisp malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and moderately sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice pale ale. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of bright citrus/pine hops and moderate pale malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.
3.1Pours a golden-orange with a white head. Mild aroma of hops, citrus and grassy with caramel malt and bread. Tastes of citrus hops, fruit, caramel malt and toast-- possibly a bit watery though. Thin to average bodied.
2.1Bottle at the Retreat, Reading. A rather lifeless pale amber colour with a moderate white head. Very sweet up front, then pine, diacetyl, ginger and plastic come through. Mild dusty bitterness at the end. Strange in a disturbing rathet than interesting way. It was drinkable, but I can’t honestly say that I enjoyed it.
2.912 oz can. Light Amber with an average off-white head. Aroma is of floral hops, caramel, and toast. Taste is of caramel, toast, light florals, and grass.
2.4Can. Mostly clear, thin white head, golden orange color. The smell is floral, light fruit, caramel, too much caramel, floral, ok. The taste is bitter, hops, caramel, and ok.
2.0Pours orange with some white lacing. Aroma is a hint of citrus but very very faint. Taste is citrus fruits but tastes mass produced. Some hops but not much.

2.4Bottle at home from dad, UK version
clear mid amber with gentle carbonation with offwhite lacing. Fairly bland cardboardy nose. Honey sweet with a touch of herbal bitterness.
3.0Caramel, candied malt smell with subtle hop aromas. Cascade is a beautiful hop - Merica! Bottle is at the end of its shelf life but the taste is still pretty floral with a citrus hit - nice finish with the malt. A fresh six pack would be a fantastic way to intrigue a curious drinker eager to try dem hoppy beers.
3.0Bottle. Pours an amber colour with a foamy head. Aroma of malts and citrus coming through. Mild taste - some hops in the end.
3.3Bottle, amber with a thin ring, faintly lemony nose, nice crisp malty palate with a firm bitterness. Drying bitter finish.

2.912 oz bottle pours amber with a off white head. Aroma of sweet malts , pine and citrus. Taste is malts, citrus and grass.
3.2Bottle at the Escourt arms. Aroma is caramel sweet malts with subdued pine hops, hop leaf. Clear golden colour with a lasting thin white head. Flavour is biscuit and mineral, light caramel, piney cascade with hop leaf. Palate is moderate carbonation, medium sweet caramel, slightly thin. Middle of the road.
2.8Bottle at The Escort Arms, Watford on 31 August. Poured a hazy, light golden colour, with a thin, dense white head. Aroma of dusty grain, light US hops and tropical fruit. Some citrus hop in the flavour, with peaches and biscuity malt. Finish was toffee, herbal notes and straw.
2.912oz bottle (retrieved from 08/2013 Midwest jpg backlog, bought in Marquette/MI). Clean, near-crisp, dry caramalt forward, sprinkled with an obvious, gentle helping of Cascade on pillowy smooth water texture. Classic, watery/quenching in high UP heat, forgettable - although it reminded me of the Adirondack beers of upstate NY in both label design and unpresuming sessionability.
3.0Bottle from beer52. Amber ale with a foamy head. Aroma is lychee and citrus. Taste is malty and bitter with golden syrup sweetness, a bit soapy though. Carbonation is prickly and body medium. Average pale.
2.4Drank from a twelve ounce bottle. Decent, well balanced but dry beer. Hoppy aromas with a dry finish.
3.1Bottle at home as Point Pale Ale 5/8/14. Pours golden, white head. Floral aroma. Short finish.
3.8Bottle. Pours amber with a decent white head. Nose is malt sweetness with some hoppiness. Taste is the same. Mild pale.
3.3UK labelled 355ml bottle from a cut-price supermarket chain (B&M Bargains): poured into a Batemans badged half-pint sleeve on 24th July 2014. Nice hoppy nose, floral and mildly citrus in nature. Light amber body with a non-staying head head. The taste is more malty than the aroma suggests and is initially semi-sweet, however the hops kick in mid-taste and the finish is drying and leaning towards bitter. Nice, easy drinking beer, cheap too.
3.4Bottled 08/07/14. A bronze/orange coloured beer with no head. A reasonable hoppy ale. Not obviously cascade but definite citrus nd maybe a little peach. A nice enough body. It’s OK.
3.7Its body has a deep golden hue with an average just off white head on top. It’s a slow fading head and a wispy covering hangs on till the last sip make some slick lacing on the way down the glass. The aroma is simple but nice and has a mild mix of citrusy lemon and pine like notes. Its medium body has a balanced mix of citrus and piney hop flavor with pale maltiness. The palate is light and refreshing and the finish has light hop bitterness fading quickly off the tongue.
3.0Pours a nice clear amber color with off-white head. Floral notes, citrus, and just a bit of pine on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with a little malt.
3.0355ml bottle. Pours dark orange with a small head. Aroma is orange squash and faint marmalade. Taste is orange, a bit jammy. Some grass on the finish.
2.9Super malty pale ale. More like a Ed ale than a pale. Smells malty and a little fruity. Had this one at home out of a bottle.
3.7355ml bottle from local B&M. Golden body with a fluffy white head Peach and tropical fruit aroma, Similar flavours with a biscuit thrown in. Nice APA.
