2.8Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle poured into a weizen glass. Pours deep golden with finger white head. Aroma is fruit (mostly orange), medium body, medium carbonation, and pretty good big bubble lacing. Taste is ripe orange and some grain.
4.0The body is hazy and has a nice orange/yellow glow in the glass. On top it keeps a small cap of white foam till the end which started off as a three finger tall covering. Lacing is slick and slides right down the glass as I drink. In the nose I pick up notes of the wheat malt with some nice citrus and spicy earth yeast. On the tongue I get hints of the classic banana and clove with some nice semi-sweet wheat and lemony citrus. The palate is right on with a nice average medium body and active carbonation.
3.2Slightly cloudy yellow body with a medium white head. Aroma is orange & nutmeg. Taste is a fresh citrus with definite spice overtones. Finishes fairly clean. Not a huge wheat ale fan, but this I enjoyed.
2.3Pour from can to pint glass. Pours a nice golden color with a slight white head. Aroma of wheat and lemon peel. Taste is much of the same but with a bit of yeast. Not bad for what it is. Would buy for casual drinking of it wasn’t so hard to get down here down South.
3.0Pours a hazy straw golden color with white head. Wheat, yeast, and a little spice on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with just a hint of sweetness.
2.4Near clear yellow with white head. Aroma sweet lemon. Raspberry sweet lemon-banana. Not something I like.
2.512 oz bottle into a pint glass. Pours a hazy yellow, with a small white head that quickly fades, leaving no lacing. Aroma is very faint, with a slight hop note. Taste is watery, with a slightly sweet banana flavor. Not unpleasant, but not much there. Better than macro swill, but just barely.
0.9Did not like. I hope that it was just a bad keg and not really how the beer tastes. Cheers.
3.8Bottle to pint. Summery nose and appearance. Nice mouthfeel. Some sweetness and wheat in the taste. Clean finish. Good opening beer to a night out.
2.6Poured with a smallish white head that soon vanished & no lace. Flavor was average tho a tad sweet. Seemed over carbonated. Short finish. Forgettable beer.
1.7Pour thanks to nielsenratings. Pours a hazy golden color. Aroma is bland citrus. Flavor is some citrus, but mostly cardboard. Bummer.
2.1Bottle offered @ gmellison. Got this bad boy in a trade with Adam. Thanks! Pours a hazy yellow orange appearance with a white head. Dusty, old hayloft, sort of citrusy nose. Fair amount of cardboard as well. Slightly acidic. Goopy malty flavor. Hops are pretty dull. Scroll past this garbage.
1.9For me, this ale left a lot to be desired. The thin body begins to reveal some skunkiness as the ale warms. When at its preferred temperature, Nude Beach has an okay yeasty quality with a bit of sweet fruitiness. The color and aroma seem off for a wheat ale, though. Not bad but far from being a superior wheat beer.
4.3Draft.
A- Citrus, wheat.
A- Orange color, hazy liquid, white head.
T- Subtle lemon, wheat, subtle orange. Slightly sweet.
P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, refreshing finish.
O- A great wheat ale. The Yakima hops are wonderful. This is a very smooth and good beer.
2.7Not a great brew but very nice if you want an alternative to 312 from goose ilsand
3.2Bottle. Golden color. Only slightly cloudy. Almost clear. Refreshing taste. Good beer.
3.7Hazy gold with light, fizzy white head. Aroma of sour malt and lemon. Light to medium body with good malt and hop balance. Fresh flavors of lemon, sour malt, and wheat. Good on a hot day.
2.916oz can. Rating #159. Hazy straw color with a white head. Mild bread and spice aroma. Sweet maltiness, light spice, easy to drink. (2863)
2.712oz non-returnable bottle from variety pack - pours pale to deep gold with white head. Nose is citrus wheat. Flavor adds herbal hops. Refreshing and hoppier than I would expect from a wheat beer. Sweet with light bitterness. goes down easy with a funky aftertaste.
2.8The color is a hazy golden color with a medium white head that fades quickly, and the aroma is simply with hints of wheat and sour dough yeast. The taste is slightly sour and a touch sweet, and the palate combines a medium body, thin and slick texture, average carbonation, and an abrupt finish.
3.2Light Orange, Bubbly Head disappears almost instantaneously, No Lacing. Bubbly, medium body. Wheat, orange, hint of clove. Fruity. It is almost like drinking Fanta. While it might not be very sophisticated it is refreshing and quite decent for what it is. It serves its purpose, good thirst quencher on a hot day.. Hey, i did have it at the beach and enjoyed it.
2.7can. Golden with one finger head. boring wheat ale. nothing really wrong with it, but totally unexciting.
2.8Can poured into a glass at stone street tavern NYC. Pours a cloudy orange color. Tases if wheat, hops and lemon. Not bad
2.7Bottle: The aroma consists of moderate fruit with sweet orange, banana, grain, and a touch of lemon. It pours a hazy golden-orange with a small white head that quickly fades to a thing film outlined by a slightly thicker ring. The flavor starts with moderate citrus/orange. There are some grainy notes in the middle. The finish has light lemon (cleaner-like at times) and a hint of clove. It’s light-medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Overall, the grainy notes seem out of place and the solvent-like lemon flavors aren’t very pleasant.
2.2I honestly didn’t taste much in this beer. It was light, went down easy, but you could taste the yeast. Not a beer I would drink over and over again.
2.4This poured a yellowish color with a white head. The aroma contains some citrus maybe some bananas in there. Flavor is rather dull with a bit of the citrus showing up. Some bready notes also showing. Overall typical American wheat ale, good for hot weather but little going on.
2.8I like the imagery and the beer itself is pleasantly sophisticated. Light to medium body and murky. Lots of wheat taste. Not bad for what it is.
3.0Bottle poured hazy gold with a creamy white head. Aromas of whea, yeast and light earthiness. Palate was medium bodied and crisp with a smooth finish. Flavors of wheat, yeast and light fruittiness with a smooth finish.
1.812oz can into pint glass. hazy orange, white head that quicky fades. Slight citruis with a bit of yeast. Can taste a bit of yeast. Not very flavorful. Id say blue moon is better and if you cant beat the macros whats the point?
2.7From notes: Poured hazy golden amber with a 1-finger white head. Light aroma of citrus and yeast, with a touch of a black pepper note. Body is light, slightly on the thin side, with a brief, dry finish. Flavor of citrus with a grainy note beneath. Decent summertime selection.
