Changes include malt bill adaption and a higher ABV.

Dark wood. Medium brown head with decent retention. Aroma intensity 4/5. Malty aroma, notes of hazelnut, cloves and butter. Medium bitter kicks into heavier floating on light sweet. Medium to full body
I have bought this bottle at Amstein, Saint-Légier. Enjoying it with my wife, at home, Epalinges, on Saturday, warm beer for cold weather, a perfect union. As usual, the body is deeply black, regular carbonation, brown foam. A classical and nice imperial stout, rather smooth at the palate, dark chocolate, cocoa, roasted malt, syrupy, a bit fruity, smelling a Christmas time.
Poured opaque black without foam. Roasted aromas, coffee, chocolate, dry fruits, licorice. Taste is powerful, torrefied, coated by caramel-licorice, with dry fruits, hazelnut, very chocolate and ganache. Yesss.
Bottle. Vôňa praženách sladov, kávy, kakao, alkohol. Chuť pražené slady, kyselkavosť kávy, suchosť kakaa. Mierne karamel a suchá, mierne trpká dochuť po horkej čokoláde. Výrazný alkohol, dlho zostáva na jazyku.
Bottle. Pours almost black with a tan head. Roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate, ash. Good.
330ml bottle. Pitch black color. Sweet, roast, coffee, chicory, bitter, hard toffee in aroma/taste.
Bottle, 0.33l. Black pour, half finger creamy beige head. Medium retention, slight lacing on the glass. Roasted malt, cocoa and coffee on the nose, dried fruits in the background.
Medium body, soft carbonation. Soft mouthfeel and texture, slightly oily, nice chewiness to it. Roasty bittersweet taste and aroma. Roasted malt, caramel, dried fruits. Cocoa, coffee, licorice. Lingering sweetness, slightly sticky. Alcohol is well hidden but it does builds up over time. Warming, slightly dry. Medium lasting finish, roasty.

Ölet har en lätt doft av kakao och sprit. Lite blaskigt. Kaffe smak. Stark!
0,33 l bottle. Pours almost pitch black with small, quickly dissipating tan head. Aroma of toasted malt, chocolate, coffee, licorice, a hint of alcohol. Taste is medium sweet and mild bitter. Body is full, sticky, carbonation gentle. Finish is medium with more prominent bitterness.

Can from London Calling Sweden, Bermondsey. Black pour with a beige head. Coffee,liquorice, dark chocolate and light smoke aroma. Taste is dark chocolate, liquorice, coffee,soy sauce. Rich, warming finish.

Sort beige skum, lidt fed. Aroma er mørk malt, lidt kaffe, karamel. Smagen er fyldig, rund, mørk malt, lidt sødme uden at være kvalm, naturlig. Lækker stout.

Smell of chocolate and peat. Creamy taste of chocolate with a agreeable bitterness.
Barwa ciemnobrunatna, klarowne. Piana bardzo obfita, gęsta, trwała.
Aromat niestety nikły, majaczą jakieś melanoidyny i tyle.
W smaku to bardziej porter, niż RIS. Lekko kwaskowy, delikatny, gładki, czekoladowo-kawowo-melanoidynowy. Brak paloności, goryczka średnio-niska, ciało i wysycenie średnie.

Keg at the Poppels Swedish Bar, Bermondsey. A black beer with a beige head. Rich aroma of coffee and roasted malt. Slightly sweet flavour. Finish is a tad light. Otherwise great.

Nieprzejrzyście czarne z niezbyt obfitą, beżową pianą. Aromat przypomina trochę portery bałtyckie, sporo owoców w czekoladzie, kawy, po ogrzaniu wychodzi jednak delikatny alkohol. Piwo ma fajną pełnie, jest delikatnie kwaśne od ciemnych słodów, do tego gorzka czekolada, wiśnie i całkiem wysoka goryczka.
Almost black with a creamy, beige head. Aroma of dark chocolate, charred grains, ink. Taste is sweet up front with lot going of strong, roasted bitterness going into the finish, accompanied by a mild sourness. Heavy bodied. Good.

Flaska 330 ml från Systembolaget. Svart med tjockt beige skum. Maltig doft med kaffe, choklad och salmiak. Maltig smak med inslag av russin, choklad, kaffe och salmiak. Rejäl torr och fin beska. Man får dricka med förnuft, för man känner inte i smaken att den har 9,5 % ABV.
