Chiara Originale è la primogenita del Birrificio Angelo Poretti. Ancora oggi nasce dalla stessa ricetta seguita per la produzione della prima “cotta” nel 1877.
Chiara Originale è una lager a bassa fermentazione di corpo leggero (alc. 5% vol.), di aspetto limpido e di colore paglierino. Si distingue per la spiccata armonia del gusto, con note aromatiche fruttate che ne addolciscono il gusto moderatamente amaro. È ideale nell’abbinamento con tutti i sapori della tradizione mediterranea, in particolare con la pizza o con una pastasciutta condita con un buon sugo di pomodoro. Se ne consiglia la degustazione anche con un caprino fresco al carbone vegetale, tipico delle valli varesine.

Bottled in an Italian restaurant in Fort Myers. Basic Italian lager.
660ml Bottle at Home 10/11/2021 Thick white head. Medium carbonation. Hoppy and malty aroma. Clear golden coloured crisp and pale with a hint of dryness in a lasting malt finish.
Achetée à la Vignery, bue ce lundi soir. Couleur dorée, faible mousse. Saveur un peu maltée, pas houblonnée. Il y a bien 4 houblons, mais plus précisément c'est 4 cônes de houblons par hectolitre. Se boit bien tout de même, ce qui lui vaut la moyenne.
Clear golden pour with a small white head; aromas/tastes of malt, grain/corn, some hay/grass with a bitter, but pleasant finish. Positively surprised, tbh.
Bottle. Pours golden clear, medium white head. Aroma is rather malty, grassy. Taste is moderate bitter, light to moderate sweet.

Four pack from Sainsbury’s. Clean and clear on pour, light gold in colour and lots of bubbles. Grain and cereal aromas, with quite a malty taste for a lager.
At airport in bottle: pours clear gold with white head. Aroma is grain and industrial lagerness. Taste is lightly bitter, somewhat sweet. Meh.

Uit de fles. Ruikt fris moutig. Smaakt fris, fruitig, moutig. Prima pilsener.
Fles op terras pizzeria vakantie Frankrijk. Vrij slap van substantie, maar heeft nog wel iets aangenaams van smaak. Licht bittertje, zij het niet veel. Stelt niet zo veel voor helaas.

Look: Clear gold, small white head
Nose: corn, sweetness, hay, grass but aroma is fresher than average supermarket lager.
Taste: grains, corn, light fruitiness, grassy bitterness with some nice spicy touches.
Palate: Light to medium bodied, slick, average carbonation.

Amber, crystal clear, white head, nice lacing.
Nose - cooked veg, hay, corn.
Taste - typical nondescript lager. However, it's a notch above usual lagery shittiness, thanks to stupidly hot weather I guess.

Pours a hazy golden colour with a medium sized thick creamy white head. Aromas of grains, hay and doughy white bread. Taste has more grains, hay, toasty bread and also some peppery spice notes. Malty beer with faint subtle grassy hops on the finish. Thin to medium body and slightly fizzy mouthfeel. Decent Lager pleasantly surprised.
(Bottle 4.8% 660ml) Pours clear golden with decent white head. Bold aroma of vegetable and grass. With notes of bread. Light body with good smooth fine carbonation. Grainy bready malt with some sweetness. Balancing hoppy bitterness develops. Quite drinkable.

Colour is a straw coloured pale lager with a thin white head. Aroma is of malts, biscuit, lemon, citrus and a slightly fruity scent. Taste is much the same malty, lemony, citrusy and fruity. Soft and light mouthfeel. Overall a nice refreshing lager that is very easily drinkable. Would recommend for a light refreshment.

On draft at Next House Copenhagen. Light golden, cloudy white head. Fruity maltiness on flavor and aroma. Quite basic bulk lager but on a bit more fruity and grassy side. Tasty.

Brilliant white foamy head stayed on a well carbonated clear pale golden coloured body.
Fruity, grain & citrus aroma.
Medium bodied, lively with a cloying back.

Shared bottle, 660ml from Tesco in Banbury, Oxon. Gold with white head. Thin, sweet malts to the fore, thin hop flavours, a little hint of cereal. Poor stuff really, not for me.

On keg at The Brewery Tap, Chester. Carbonated greenish gold with fizzed head. This is quite a corn like beer, flat once the fizz has gone, some lemon, some sweetness. It was a rate anyway.

Draught at The Head of Steam, Liverpool. Gold with white head. Thin cereals, malts to the fore, thin biscuity notes, some sweetness. Notes of grassiness, it's a little flabby. Just okay.
On draught at Sol Tapas, Darlington. Pale golden colour, thin white head and aroma of malt, grassy. Taste is sweetish, malt, grain, with cardboardy bitterness. Light bodied, high carbonation, dry bitter finish. Standard pale lager, OK cold.
