3.5 A small taste from bottle @ Pelimanni. Pours clear chestnut with a medium head. Aroma is sweet malts with some caramel. Flavor is sweet malts, caramel, hops. Decent.
2.5 Troppo dolce per il mio amar palato
2.7 Bottiglia. Il naso trova indizi di orzo tostato. L'intensità olfattiva è normale, permanendo in maniera sufficiente.
3.6 Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours clear, dark orange/brown with a decent beige head. Aroma of roasted malt - not USA, not German - but nice. Med body. There's a fruitiness suggesting purple grape - sorta Welches Concord - but the nice, roasty malt has that under control. Some mild fig/date fruit too. Fairly dry and lightly bitter. Clean, refreshing and tasty.
2.3 Bottle@Hamlet, Tampere, Finland. Medium/strong, unbalanced nuances of vienna malts, caramel, some resin and German malts. Medium taste spectrum and medium aftertaste with caramel and some hops. Medium body with medium carbonation. Overall, clear bit alcohol forwarded product with nice basic bock nuances. 5 3 5 2 8
2.7 Bottle aroma of light molasses. Honey colored with no head. Strong molasses flavor with light hops. Some chocolate notes
3.1 didn't stumble upon this when i was in rome, but found it in a greek supermarket on crete. hazy light red brown, offwhite head. red fruity macro lagerish aroma. aroma gets more malty as the beer warms up. best before 11/2019, tasted 9/2019. still hops are burnt and almost mouldy, as if the beer is way old. bitterness is high enough that the sweet red fruity and malty notes in the flavor is in check, well balanced, not the worst red malty beer you'll find around. But this one seems to be too old, so get them fresh.
2.9 this beer is made with 6 hops used in small small quantity. we feel only malt (full malty). It's not really a bock, more an amber beer. Not bad for an industrial product.
3.0 Bevuta in bottiglia. Rossa abbastanza corposa.
2.6 Draught. Pours clear dark amber with a medium, creamy beige head, medium retention with good lacing. Medium rich caramel and toasted bread malt, medium-light perfume alcohol, light dates and figs, and a medium sweet finish. Medium-full body and medium carbonation.
2.2 It has a strong malty caramel aroma and a very sweet taste. Not good at all but drinkable.
3.0 Little aroma, cloudy looks, strong hoppy flavour
2.7 Bock italiana. Color rojizo, poca espuma, cuerpo medio-bajo. Sabor algo dulce, malta, caramelo. Retrogusto agradable equilibrado. No está mal.
2.4 Bottle. Pours an amber ruby color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma. Fruity malty caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty caramel bitter finish with hints of dark fruit.
3.0 Fles 33cl in Dedemsvaart. (16-11-2018).
2.5 Čepované v 0.5l v italském Miláně. Když vynechám Birra del Borgo tak do této chvíle asi nejlepší italské pivo. A stále podprůměrné...
Połączenie słodyczy karmelowej i umiarkowanej goryczki, Może odrobine zbyt mała pełnia, jednak piwo naprawdę dobre.
1.3 Bevuta anni fa e sorprendente. Ora una Moretti col caffè.
2.8 Malty aroma of caramel, prunes, milk chocolate. Taste is sweet, light bitter, alcoholic spicy in the finish. Somewhat unbalanced.
2.1 Too much malt, too sweet. Indeed a double malt but no way near a red bock. Good for thirsty evening if it was somewhat lighter in alcohol.
3.5 Bottle at Tenpin. Deep amber. Nose is sweet malts, caramel, red fruits. Tastes sweet caramel malty, red fruits, light bitter, molasses, little warming.
3.3 0.33l bottle. Dark ruby color with white head. Aroma is malty, toasty and fruity, mostly raisins. Taste is medium sweet with light to medium bitterness and light fruity notes. Medium to full body and bitter aftertaste. Overall it's nice beer.
3.5 Bottle at The Napoli, Leek. Pours a clear deep amber colour with a medium beige head. Aroma of caramel, toasted grains, some red and dark fruits and subtle spicy hops. Taste of caramel, toffee, dark fruits, some orange, fruitcake, slight marzipan and subtle spicy hops. Medium bodied and moderate carbonation. A soft, dryish, toffee and dark fruit bitterness in the finish. Not a bad bock/amber beer, sticky toffee and fruitcake flavours.
3.1 Cfgp
3.5 I have bought this bottle at the ipercoop, in crevoladossola, the last week. I have tried this bottle yesterday with my father at home, in Lausanne. In my opinion, it is a regular bock, average, better than others beers of this brewery. The color is really pleasant for the eyes, copper body, perfect. The carbonation is regular, thin and white foam. The taste is metaluc but it is acceptable, malty, bready, a bit smocked, touch of alcool at the final, hop. For the style, I could qualify this beer dry and mineral.
