Port Brewing beers are typically boldly-flavored American and hop-forward West Coast style ales or lagers, and Board Meeting Brown Ale is no exception. An amplified brown ale, the beer is brewed with liberal additions of coffee from local San Diego roasters, Ryan Brothers, and cocoa nibs sourced from famed San Francisco chocolate maker TCHO. Alcohol by volume is 8.5%.
“Board Meeting offers the malty richness and assertive hop presence that you expect in an American brown ale, but enhanced with pronounced roasted coffee and bitter chocolate aromas and flavors,” Arthur said. “I think people will enjoy this beer by itself and at the table paired with meat dishes like pork, roasts and barbeque. I imagine it’d be pretty good washing down a sausage omelet at breakfast too.”

3.9On tap at Brewdog Brighton. Black beer lasting tan head. Coffee coffee coffee on aroma. Good coffee aroma. Amazing coffee in mouth smooth and juicy like drinking cold coffee liqueur. Lovely. For some reason it was decanted which list some of the carbonation . But still the coffee was impressive and we'll integrated.
3.7Thin dense brown head of very fine bubbles. Intense coffee and roasted grain aroma with some bittersweet chocolate and burnt toast. Color is a very dark brown. More dark roasted grains in the flavor, with a good helping of dark roast coffee but not overpowering. Some more burnt toast and mild bitterness. Slightly chalky and dry mouthfeel with a noticeable alcohol presence and warming. Lingering bitter dark chocolate and ash. A pretty good brown ale that has a good balance with the coffee component.
3.5Tap at BrewDog Manchester. Dark brown with small ring of head. Toasty, malt loaf, nutty, hints of chocolate. Not massively sweet with some faint hops. Decent.

3.5Draft @ Beavertown Extravaganza'17.
Brune, col beige.

3.9Kwg at Brewdog Camden. A deep nut brown coloured pour with a a lasting light tan head. Aroma is really earthy nutty, wood, bark, maple, cocoa. Flavour is composed of semi sweet nutty brown malts, milk, choc, smooth woody roast, peanut butter, hint of smoke in the finish. Palate is medium sweet, frothy east carbonation. Slightly creamy. Nice malt depth. Lingering coconut.

4.0Above average brown. Good after taste that doesn't feel like you've just eaten a sandwich. Adding into rotation for beer tasting's.
Takie coś na pograniczu Brown Ale, Scotch Ale, Old Ale, English i American Strong Ale - w sumie trudno jednoznacznie stwierdzić, dodatek zaś kawy i kakao jeszcze bardziej komplikuje sprawę w postaci nutek FESowo porterowych. Samo piwo średnio pijalne, może nie jest gęste, ale treściwe, nieco mulące na dłuższą metę.
3.8Bottle a dark brown colored beer with a white head aroma malts fruits dark fruits citrus yeast spicy and hops flavor malts fruits dark fruits spicy citrus fruits and hops
3.6Dark brown/black with light brown head. aroma is coffee and malt. Not really sweet for such a high gravity beer. The hop "forwardness" is really more of a balance to the malt rather than an aggressive hop presence. I like that it is not overly bitter nor does it cover up the darker malt nuances with a hop braggadocious character. I still much prefer the London style Brown Ale, but this is not bad by any means.
4.0Bottle from BevMo. Nice coffee aroma. Coffee chocolate taste with toasty malty notes. Medium bitterness. Very good.
3.9More leathery brown ale style with minimal head, muted chocolate aroma and taste. Livelier carbonation than you would get in a stout.
3.5Dark chestnut brown pour with aroma of coffee, chocolate, and roasted malt. Heavy coffee flavor with some roasted malt, and bitter chocolate. Good beer.
3.6Nearly black pour with a tan head. The aroma is malty with dark chocolate and mild coffee. It has a medium body with slightly sticky texture and average carbonation. The taste roasted and dry.
