1.8 Aus der Flasche getrunken (Supermarktkauf in Dublin). Ziemlich bitter im Antrunk. Stil doch etwas verfehlt
2.5 Glass in Wallace wine bar Dublin. Straw gold colour. Flavour is malts with slight hop bitterness. Bread and dough.
3.2 Tap @ The Porterhouse, Dublin shared with Niilstrong. Clear golden color, average sizedwhite head. Smell and taste malts, slightly butter, a tad sweet with a slight hop bitter finish. Decent body and carbonation. Ok.
2.8 Clear golden in color with a bit of a white head. Crystal malt aroma and body. Just a basic light lager.
2.9 Lingering bitter aftertaste. Bubbly malt flavour. Drinkable as a session beer, but fairly one dimensional.
3.4 Nice earthy floral bitterness. Fresh and round, mild, bitter and dry. Great and fresh, round, sessionsble with depth.
3.0 On tap at the brewpub. Pours clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is weak grassy hops. Taste is moderate sweet caramel with a rather harsh herbal unbalanced finish.
3.3 Pour on tap at the brewpub, clear golden orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of nice grassy, earth, bread into some spice, herbal notes, slight floral hops as well. Taste was a mix of grass, herbal, earthy, spicy hops into some slight bread, toast, some grain, finishing fairly dry.
2.6 Pours orange, very clear, single finger white head. Aroma of grass, grain, light honey...Taste of initial grass, then some grain, a touch of hay, light malts, honey...average.
3.0 Classical pilsner appearance; clear golden color and minimal formation of foam. The smell is nice. It has a hint of white wine and peach. The taste is nice. Again there is this aroma of peach. There is also a nice hoppy bitterness. A perfect lager.
2.7 Bottle thanks to Stuu666. Pours pale golden. Nose is pale malts, grass, some sweetness. Taste is quite basic with grainy pale malts, grass, honeyish sweetness.
2.7 Bottle thanks to Stuu666. Appearance - golden with a light lacy head. Nose - pale malt, light honey. Taste - more of the same. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - generally one-dimensional.
2.8 Bottle at the School’s Out Tasting. Pours clear gold with a thin white head. Aromas of sweetcorn, honey. Taste is light sweet, astringent finish.
2.6 Bottle at ash’s. Pours clear golden amber, nose is lemon, hay, toffee, taste is dry, floral, bit flat.
1.9 Bottle, 330 ml, shared with JFK10000. Pours golden with white head. Malty and grainy, light bodied, bitterish.
3.6 Köstliches Aroma nach Äpfeln und Zimt; dann aber erstaunlich bitter im Geschmack. Ordentliches Lager/Pils.
2.9 Boring pils style. Pours out a light golden yellow with a finger of spongy white head. The nose is quite grainy with cereal and toasted malts, light honey and citrus fruit notes. Simple and grainy flavour profile. A bit of a hop hit on the finish.
3.4 The draft pour was consumed at the central Dublin brewpub across the street from Trinity College and went well with my Irish Stew. Came in the glass as light gold color with a small white head and light lacing. Nose of fruit and grassy hops. Light in body and smooth of mouth feel. Flavor is light fruit the grassy hops, a hint of citrus. The finish is bitter. Every inch a pils and nice drinking.
3.4 Draught, small creamy head clear deepish gold colour, pleasant bready malty lager with a yeasty aroma and a medium strong and empathic herbal bitterness. Good textbook pilsener, very good with food.
3.2 Wahnsinnig intensives Aroma von Butter, Karamell und Popcorn. Vanillig.
3.1 Bottle at home - pours yellow with white head. Tastes malty and quite sweet. Overall - pretty good
2.0 Mild smell of malt. Golden colour, white head, aroma of malt, some rubber and hops. Finishes with rubber. Not so nice.
3.0 Bottle from Drinkstore, Dublin [100414] Light golden...clear...huge frothy white head...good lacing Aroma of soft sweet pale malts....slight spicy hops Taste of soft sweet pale malts...touch of caramel...hint of grain...soft bitter spicy hops Palate - medium carb...light body...bit oily...clean palate. Finish is quite dry...bitter finish...slightly metallic on the tail Overall - Quite a good Pilsner
3.3 Flight done at brewpub with wings. Good atmosphere. Tasting notes as follows: Hersbrucker pilsner: crisp, fizzy, refreshing plain porter: good bitterness at end. Smooth. Not much flavor in the middle. Tsb: bite at end, watery red-nitro: malt flavor, not favorite beer or style
2.7 Draught. Smooth and malty, low carbonation. A little metal on a dry sweetish finish.
3.6 A golden yellow coloured beer with a frothy white head. A light hoppy aroma, citrusy with a malty background. Dry mouthfeel. A tart, lively, pithy citrus fruit, hop taste, followed by a biscuity malt flavour which balances the taste into the finish.
2.7 Tap at Porterhouse. Think clean, balanced, but boring. Solid but really has nothing great going for it and you wouldn’t bother having a second time
3.6 Yellow pour with creamy white head and lace. Aroma of sweet malt and floral hops. Sweet malt, a touch of pepper, and a floral hop bitter. Medium bodied with good carbonation. a nice beer
3.5 Pours gold, white head. Nose is graham cracker, very fresh spicy noble coming through, straw. Flavour is a bit on the sweet end for the style, some lemon and earth. I thought this was great! Felt very fresh though I doubt it was recently brewed. It may be because it was creamier than average. Regardless, I should drink more pilsners, there’s something to be said for simplicity.
