Porterhouse Yippy IPA

Porterhouse Yippy IPA

Please rise for an American style IPA blessed with a golden opalescence that is sure to delight your tastebuds.

Zesty notes of lemon and grapefruit match the fruity, juicy flavour of citrus (Cascade, Amarillo, Moasic, Citra) and a subtle, fresh, pine spice (Nugget, Centennial).

A light but chewy body, and we all like that, with subtle bitterness leaves the palate tingling and ready for more.

Food pairings: Burgers, chicken wings

Malts: Ale Malt, Wheat Malt, Dextrin Malt, Oat Malt, Vienna Malt

Hops: Nugget, Centennial, Amarillo, Cascade, Mosaic, Citra

3.7 From a beer hawk mystery case. Lovely aroma of fresh hops , citrus , pine , toffee and malt. Light malty taste of lemon, citrus , hops and malt. Lovely.
3.1 Pours light yellow, slightly hazy . Good carbonation. The cocktail of hops is too complex (6 different ones? Seriously?) to distinguish any specific one nor their typicities.
3.2 Dégustée le 2019-08-03. .
3.4 Tap@ Porterhouse Temple Bar Dublin. Blond, licht troebel , kleine plakkraag. Ruikt bitterhoppig, licht boerderij, maar niet sterk. Smaakt licht bitter, minimaal citrus.

3.6 7/5/2019. Draft at the Porterhouse, Temple Bar. Pours clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, citrus, orange, pine and malt. Medium sweetness with moderate bitterness. Moderate body, self oily texture, average to soft carbonation. Pretty sold performing IPA.
3.3 On tap at The Porterhouse Temple Bar Pours clear light golden with a small off-white head, light lacing. Mild malts, grains, citrus zest. 4.4 Sensacional IPA tremendamente aromática, con notas frutales y florales, cuerpo ligero, espuma firme y cremosa, y gusto suave y adictivo. Como una Session IPA. De las mejores IPAs que he probado.
3.9 Porterhouse Yippee IIA 5.0%. Golden, lemon and grapefruit aroma, light bodied, citrusy, pine, spices, bittersweet grapefruit finish. Lovely IPA from Dublin 🇮🇪
3.2 Tap at Porterhouse temple bar Dublin. Light gold pour. Nose is citrus and hint of pine. Taste sof floral, lemon, grass, pine. Kind of thin for style. A crusher of ipa more like a session to me.

3.5 Draught at Porterhouse Temple Bar, Dublin (€2.95/half). Poured a slightly hazy gold with 5mm of bright white dense foam that retained well and laced very well. Carbonation very rare and fine. Aroma moderate to strong of sweet citrus. Taste moderately strong of citrus (grapefruit, mandarin); very tasty. Medium body. Slightly dry with moderate bitterness on a lingering finish. Very nice.
3.7 Robe ambrée, fine mousse. Nez sur les agrumes, le lime, la mangue et le houblon. Bouche souple et fruitée, ronde avec une bulle ample et une finale raffraîchissante. Bière de soif.

2.7 330ml bottle given as a gift and poured into a teku glass and sampled on the 21st April 2018. Lovely clear garnet in colour with a thin white head. Dusty hop present in the short aroma along with an unpleasant note of sweaty socks. Thin resiny mouthfeel and good lacing. Mixed malts give a light digestive biscuit backbone but sharp astringency gives a tart citrus bite of pink grapefruit. Dusty hops give a short bitterness in the hoppy aftertaste. Again the finish is hoppy with dry citrus pith adding grapefruit zest. Not the best example of an APA though.
3.4 Bottle @ parents. Appearance: pours slightly cloudy amber with good off-white soapy head and lacing. aroma/taste: barley, bread, toffee, citrus and grapefruit. palette: strong hoppy aroma, average carbonation, medium body, average sweetness, somewhat dominated by a medium to notable bitterness, average duration and a watery texture. Overall: tasteful APA
2.9 Average IPA
3.7 En god frisk humlet smag, ikke helt ovre i det tørre, men frisk og med en del blomstersmag. Mest aromahumle, og ikke så meget bitterhumle.
3.0 Draught at the brewpub, August 2016. Dry, citrusy and floral, light caramelly malt notes. Solid, if unspectacular.
