Prairie Vous Francais

Prairie Vous Francais

Prairie-Vous Francais is a celebration of simple elegance. This farmhouse ale is brewed to be refreshing. We use barley, oats, and wheat to build a foundation for saaz hops and brettanomyces bruxellensis to play. You’ll find this beer to be slightly tart and a touch hoppy. Prairie-Vous Francais is one of our many farmhouse beers we hope you will love as much as we do.

4.0 On tap at Draft Taproom. Very floral aromas, perfumy, citrusy, grassy. Hazy straw with a fairly lasting white head. Dry, citrusy, floral flavors. Medium bodied, crisp.
3.5 Hazy pale blond colour with lasting thin head. Fine carbonation. Aroma is very strong with funky farmyard Brett. Flavour is similar but less intense.
Lekkie, wodniste, wysoko wysycone, nieco mdłe w odbiorze. Niby fajny farmhous, aczkolwiek budzi skojarzenia z perry, przez co brak mu rześkości, saisonowej świeżości...

2.1 750ml bottle (RBESG2017 Grand Tasting) (4:3:4:2:8+=2.1) Light malts in the aroma, a touch of rubber. Watery palate. Chalky and yeasty taste, boring, and similar to the aroma. Actually tastes of rubber gloves. Some biting hops in the finish. A bottle of brewing flaws.

4.4 This didn’t have the depth and complexity I expected it to have as a brett beer, but at the same time, I didn’t realize it was a 4%-er. Turns out, that was a welcome surprise. Just a really nice light sessionable saison, mildly funky, doughy, zesty, exceptionally drinkable, and after a long hot day in Florida, I did a magic trick on this 750. I can’t ask for much more.
