Préaris Quadrocinno

Préaris Quadrocinno

This dark chestnut beer brewed with Costa Rica coffee has an alcohol content of 10%.

The aroma is coffee, nuts and dark fruit. The first taste is sweet and then the coffee flavor comes up, further you can find the taste of caramel, vanilla and dark fruit. Aftertaste is slightly bitter with coffee beans and hops.

Originally this was a winter beer, but is due to popular demand this Prearis Quadrocinno will be available year round.

4.0 Black and poured with a medium head.Quite lively upon opening and took time to sette down.Coffee flavours present but dont take over as is sometimes the way. Smooth and quite creamy in a subtle way.An excellent beer.
3.4 Mörk mahognyfärgad med tjockt beige skum. Doftar rostad malt, lite fruktigt.
2.9 Bottle 33 cl. Pours a reddish brown with a slight haze and a creamy and lacing off-white head. Surprisingly neutral nose, a hint of dried fruits and if you sniff really hard you get the coffee. Medium body only, carbonation is kinda high. But for a coffee beer with a Quad as a base this is all surprisingly weak to be honest. Coffee come a little more through in the flavor though. But generally rather disappointing. 100220
3.8 Full bodied, sticky and rich with dark malts, some coffee and subtle brandy.
3.3 arrived around expiry date at LCBO. Old coffee, quite an alcohol kick that was hidden. S'alright as a nightcap.
4.0 Another purchase made from a Belgian retailer providing a helpful service. I had Prearis Quadrupel recently, happy to be tasting Quadrocinno this evening. The glass is my ABGB snifter. The liquid arrives a dark copper-brown completed by a decent light tan head charged by a steady effervescence. I get a nice scent of ripe fruit and hard candy. A taste, hey now, quite good. Thick dark bread, stewed raisins, malt and just a hint of floral (where did that come from?). Dense and creamy, enjoyable.
3.4 330ml bottle from belgiuminabox.com. Pours dark brown with a big beige head. Aroma is coffee and alcohol (not much else because alcohol overpowers everything else). Body is quite thin for such a beer, taste is coffee, dark malts, maybe some chocolate. Expected more from this.
3.8 (bottle 0,33l from Beergeek online) Overall: Good strong coffee beer. Aroma: Strong coffee, light smoke. Appearance: Dark brown. Long lasting beige head. Taste: Medium sweet, coffee, roasty, fruity, spicy. Palate: Medium-full body. Bitter-roasty, light spicy, light warm finish.
4.3 Sharing this beer with Raoul, at the mise en bière, in Lausanne. I personally appreciated this quad, brown and orange body, slighty troubled, regular carbonation, white foam. The taste is rather dry for the style, notes of coffee, mineral, after you get some notes of plum, cherry, hop, good pint.
Excellent!
3.9 Bottle. Color: Copper, beige head. Aroma: Dark fruit, nuts, bubblegum. Taste: Dark malt, coffee, hints of dark dried fruit, vanilla, almond. Moderate to medium sweet, moderate bitter. Over medium body, just below average carbonation. Creamy mouthfeel. Nice.
4.0 Format: 330 ml. Bottle Appearance: Purple-brown, thin tan head, handsome lacing Nose: Coffee, caramel, dried fruit, and slight raisin notes. Taste: Lightly roasted coffee, caramel, dark chocolate and a mild copper flavour. Alcohol: Well hidden, high acidity, good finishing bitterness. Impressions: Surprisingly quaffable for a quadruple. High-acidity and well-hidden alcohol make this easy to drink. Low residual sugar and high acidity caused the beer to open up nicely as it approached room temperature (thought the bottle recommends a serving temperature of 10-12c). Drier, less rich and dense than beers of the style.
Corpo pieno.
3.8 Bottle from de Caigny dranken in Essen, Belgium. The beer is dark brown colored and has a stable cream colored head, with good carbonation. The aroma is malty, with notes of caramel, dried fruits, toffee, but also chocolate, coffee, nuts and a hint of spices. The taste is full bodied and starts sweet malty with caramel, vanilla, dried fruits, toffee and goes to bitter and a little dry with strong coffee notes, but also chocolate, nuts and spices. The finish is light dry, bitter and has hints of warming alcohol.
3.8 Bottle (aged 2014 drunk 2018) @ home Marrone scuro opalescente, schiuma beige fine persistente. aroma tostato di cereali, caramello, caffè, liquirizia, vaniglia. pane fresco frutta rossa sotto spirito, e pasta di mandorle. molto complesso e fine. Gusto acidulo, abboccato, tostato, con frutta secca e arancia amara. Molto carbonata, poco corposa, calda, abbastanza rotonda, equilibrata ed armonica.
3.7 On tap at Belgokryssning. Dark brown with tan head. Sweet, dark sugars, coffee, nutty notes, slight alcohol with a sweet coffee liquor finish
3.5 Bottle Aroma-coffe, nuts, caramel Appearance-brown, cloudy, tan foam, Taste-light sweetness, lightly bitter, lightly sour, Palate-full body, sticky, average carbonation, long finish, Overall-very good
4.0 Piana drobna bialutka, utrzymuje sie długo zdobi szkło, ideał. Kolor ciemny rubin, klar, przy dolewce z butelki mętnieje. Aromat wszelakiej maści owoce suszone ,śliwki, rodzynki, figi, kawa minimalnie, karmel, drożdżowe fenole w belgijskie klimaty, przyjemny niezbyt intensywny. Smak podobnie do aromatu, co dziwi to mimo pełni lekkie odczucia w ustach, piwo wysoko dofermentowane, są owoce suszone karmel, kawa, lekka popiołowość, dochodzą ostre pieprzowe, korzenne posmaki drożdżowe, fenole, zauważalne chmielenie w goryczce i w smaku. Bardzo Dobre
3.6 33cl Bottle @ Saveur-Biere, Lille, France. Dark brown colour with a thin white head. Aroma is malt, yeast, nuts. Taste is malt, sweet, yeast, spices, nuts, hints of coffee. Medium body, average carbonation.
3.5 Bottle from Firefly, Vancouver Brown color. The base Strong Ale is bold and malty, caramel, quite good; the coffee is not too strong, wisely blended. I'm not a fan, but it's well done.
3.7 33 cl. bottle. A dark brown coloured beer with an off-white head. Aroma and flavour of spice, malt, yeast, dried fruit, coffee, chocolate and caramel.
Romig mondgevoel. Fijn bier voor mooie momenten.
