Pressure Drop Bosko

Keg & bottle conditioned; Regular.
Sweeter, maltier and more full-bodied than our pale ale this I.P.A. is dry-hopped with generous amounts of U.S. hops to make a balanced and drinkable I.P.A.

3.8 Bottle. Bronze with a medium head. Citrus falvours dominare but not overpoweringly so. Reasonable strength but again not overpoweringly so. Another good one from this brewery.
4.1 Bottle. Hops and bready malts in the nose, some wood. Strong bit of hops, some citrus. Tart lemon. Very grassy finish, finish has a really nice bite to it that doesn't linger too long. Nice one.
4.2 Hoppy, pithy bold IPA. Orange zest and mango flavours. Bitter. Nice.

3.6 Bottle. Amber coloured beer with a reasonable head. The aroma is strongly hopped, and the flavour is very bitter and hopped with a long finish. Overall a nice strongly hopped and bitter IPA.

3.7 classic ipa with moderated bitterness and a bit of lemon zest in the aroma.
3.9 On tap at Euston Tap, pours a hazy orange with some soapy, white head. Nice nose, fruity, tangerine, guava, orange, herbs. Flavor has zippy citrus with fresh orange and tangerine, some muddled tropical fruits, lavender. Sweet, zippy finish. Tasty.
3.6 Keg at Mother Kelly’s SE1, London in Sept 2017 - Hazy dark amber in colour. Good foamy off-white head. Good lacing. Fruity; grapefruit and orange citrus. Good hop bitterness, piney hops. Pale malts, caramel. Bitter citrus fruity malty throughout. Lingering bitterness. Decent. (2017-09)
4.0 Pint from tap at the Italian Job. Maltier than hoppy, and slightly strong. Nice aroma and finish.
3.7 330ml bottle (Ales by Mail) (7:4:7:4:15=3.7) Deep honey orange, hazyish, large persistent tight head. Lovely zesty fruity aroma, plenty of caramelly malts, and herbal bitterness obvious. Full palate, pleasant carbonation. Lovely caramelly malt taste, spicy zesty hops, good balance between the two. Finish fruity and zesty, with just a hint of dusty or earthy bitterness. Great drinkability, and packed full of IPA-ey goodness. Pressure Drop do it again - to please me this much with an IPA is quite rare.
3.7 Bottle @home (rating backlog). Pours amber, white head. Nose grapefruit, passion fruit, orange marmalade. Taste is limes and lemons, slight orange, floral, hoppy.
3.1 Bottle from Oddbins Mitchell Street, Glasgow. Nose is a little dank, earthy, slightly musty (a bit like a stale washcloth). Taste is good: Sweet caramel malt, loads of bittering hops, some juiciness. Palate is a bit too creamy for me, but excellent hoppy, metallic/earthy finish. I suspect this would have been much better two-three months ago.
3.8 Bottle shared at Chris & Ruth´s House. A slightly hazy orange golden beer with a huge most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of aromatic fruity hops, peach, tangerine. Taste of fruity, hops, orange, tangerine, peach, nice!
3.3 330ml bottle. Hazy amber colour with a small off-white head. Aroma: pine, zesty citrus fruits, malty, earthy/musty. Taste: piney, sweet malty, caramel, citrus peel, slight earthy/musty note, bitter finish. Medium body and carbonation. Once again I get this strange earthiness from a Pressure Drop beer, can’t get into it.
3.8 8 3 8 3 16 Draft at Kaapse Maria. Clear golden amber with an off white head. Aroma of citrus, light fruits, grapefruit and pineapple. Flavour is light moderate sweet and above moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. [18/06/2017]

3.4 Bottle from Crafty Bottle, Lincoln. Colour is slightly hazy amber with an off white head. Aroma is tea, citrus, and apple. Taste is dry and mid bitter to finish. Full body.
3.5 On tap @Mad for Beer (Rome). Ambrata limpida, schiuma bianca media, abbastanza persistente. Al naso sentori agrumati e di resina, malto, caramello. In bocca è discretamente equilibrata, base di malto media, amaro medio. Corpo medio, carbonazione media. Discreta.
3.8 Bottle at The Bottle Lab, Leek. Pours a slightly hazy reddish amber colour with a frothy off white head. Aroma of pine, caramel, red berries, soma orange marmalade, slight grapefruit and subtle grassy, floral hops. Taste of caramel, red berries, pine, resin, some orange marmalade, slight grapefruit, a hint of nuttiness and subtle grassy, floral hops. Medium bodied and an oily texture. A long, dry, resinous hop bitterness in the finish. A surprisingly good beer, lots of fresh grassy hops with a lot of resinous and citrus bitterness. More like a red IPA when it comes to amount of caramel and fruity maltiness. Very good.
3.4 Bottle 330 ml. Hazy brown with a thin white head. Fruity aroma, malty caramel taste with a slightly bitter finish. OK, but somewhat one-dimensional.
0.9 Bottle from Valhalla’s Goat, Glasgow. Beer served in 8°C, Duvel Glass. Aroma reveals bacteria infection - stinky shoes, butane, chemicals, rotten vegetables. Taste is sweet and bitter, but with unpleasant rotten and soapy notes. Best before: 08.06.17. It causes dizziness after drinking whole bottle, probably I should not drink it all :(.
3.4 Bottle. Pours deep amber with a good sized just off-white head. Aroma of hop, malt, caramel, light citrus and grapefruit notes. Light sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, average carbonation. Finish is dry with long bitterness.
3.8 Bottle at home, sunny balcony. Hazy/gradient deep honeylike amber with white head. Sweet caramel malts, orange peel, grapefruit, grassy hoppellets, some sweaty caramelized grilled onions in the back. Moderate sweet and strong bitter. Medium body, soft carbonation. Very effin hoppy, melts my tongue off. Lovely combination of citrus fruitiness and merciless bitterness. Looks beautiful in the sunlight, like a caramel sundown.
3.2 Bottle. Spoons. Pours medium amber and opaque with a gorgeous tan foam residing. Scent is light hop notes. Taste is medium dense hops with a strange profile, mostly late but a tiny bit soapy bitter. Finish is light. A bit sticky. Very good.
3.7 Bottle shared at the The Culpeper, London. Turbid orange colour with a white/beige head. Aroma is lots of citrus and graprfruit. Tase is lot of citrus, grapefruit, pine, orange peel. First beer for me from this brewery and good impression.
3.3 Fresh mild beginning. Floral but not too intense with a moderate bitter but very dry body. Nice pine and citrus resin there, round and refreshing. Nice dry IPA.
