Pretty Things Fluffy White Rabbits Hoppy Triple

Pretty Things Fluffy White Rabbits Hoppy Triple

Our first Spring, we brought you a magical tree full of waving babies… and the Baby Tree has stuck around, we’re happy to say. So for our second Spring, and each Spring since, we’ve made a pale gold, hoppy triple called Fluffy White Rabbits. This is a fun and Springy beer: possibly even our fun-est beer. In Yorkshire, they say “White Rabbits” on the first of the month for luck, and here’s to a lovely warm Springtime for all of us!

The beer is 8.5% abv, with Saaz, Styrian Goldings and Strisselspalt hops added aplenty. Fluffy mouthfeel: yes, really! There’s a faint sweetness with tropical fruit undertones. Fluffy White Rabbits is a very “Pretty Things” take on a Triple.

We use what we think are the finest ingredients around: malts from Weyermann (Germany) and Fawcett (Yorkshire) in this beer.

It’s a fun one, we hope you enjoy it!

3.7 Bottle at home while watching a German Western which was decent on Netflix. Golden pour with frothy head. Nose is yeasty and some banana. Tastes of light banana, yeast, bubblegum, some pine cones, vanilla, and medicinal. Pleasant palate that isnt too sweet ot chewy.
3.8 On draught at Apex. Clear golden. Notes of plum, caramel, yeast, pistachio, light yeast, and candi sugar.
3.6 The beer pours a slightly hazy golden with a large white head that fades slowly. The aroma is heavy with Belgian yeast, but there is some white pepper and white pepper floating underneath. The beer is slightly sweet and slightly sour with a grainy and slightly spicy aftertaste. The palate fuses a soft carbonation, thick texture, and a medium body.
3.9 More fruity than I was expecting, as Belgian triples are normally too sweet for me. Very good
4.0 Nose is apricot, floral nectar, pear, spice. Flavor is same plus canned peaches, sweet orange.
3.9 . Pours a hazy gold with a thin white head. Nice saison like musk notes, fuzzy hops. Malty and a bit sweet. On the thinside, sweet with some light wheat. Crisp dry caramel finish.
4.3 это пиво очень вкусно. я бы, конечно, рекомендую его всем. пожалуйста, обратитесь его. очень хорошо!
3.6 Bomber at Lincoln Wine Bar. An excellent triple. Smooth, yeasty backbone. Hoppy finish keeping it from being too sweet. Citrus flavors. Yummy.
3.6 22oz bottle 11/18/14 (Payless Liquors #9-Indy)-40° in Trappist Glass-Pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma of yeast, citrus, and wheat. Taste of the same. This light to medium bodied brew is a different take and still tasty.
3.1 Alla spina all’IBF. Aroma maltato, miele millefiori, speziato, pepato, erbaceo. Al palato nota alcoolica e leggermente sbilanciata sul dolce nonostante note erbceo e fruttate nel finale.
3.7 Rather hoppy for a tripel as promised. Really nice aroma and real smooth to drink. Really good.
3.7 Poured a cloudy light orange color with aromas of grass, coriander, wheat, yeast and some light lemon. Flavors matched the aromas with some light wheat and yeast in aftertaste. Surprised with how well the abc is hidden in this one.
4.0 Bottle. Moderate grain for the malt, flowers and meyer lemon for the hops, light soap for the yeast, with green wood, coriander and pepper in the background. Head is small, frothy, white with a spot or two of lacing and good legs, and is mostly diminishing. Color is hazy golden amber. Flavor starts lightly to moderately sweet and acidic, then finishes lightly to moderately acidic and a lengthy amount of heavy bitternes. Palate is on the fuller side of medium, oily with a lively to fizzy carbonation, and a lightly alcoholic and very dry finish. A lighter Abbey Tripel than most but tasty start to finish.
4.1 Pours with slight haze, light amber color, very small head but persists. Aroma is Belgian fruity, sour. Taste is light malt body and some hop flavor. Very nice triple interpretation.
3.8 Very hazy golden coloured body with a straw glow and a nice and relatively dense one centimetre tall just tan colour. Aroma of grass, coriander seed, lemons, straw, hay and a ton of yeast - very strong in that department, but nice. Full-bodied; Very rich flavour of coriander seed, yeast, wheat, grass, hay and a lot of honey sweetness tucked in with even more curacao. Aftertaste shows a very pleasant blend of honey, grass, yeast and oranges with a light grain and corn finish. Overall, a very nice tripel with not so much hops noticed, but more of the tripel stylings, all with a very rich mouthful and a sweet finish - nice, but pretty much just a standard tripel - don’t pay attention to ’hoppy’ on the name. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from New Beer Distributors in New York, New York on 19-July-2014 for US$8,00 sampled at home in Washington on 14-September-2014.
3.6 12oz draft poured in snifter. Nice golden color. Aromas of peanuts, lemon, yeasty white bread. Flavors of lemon, mainly Belgian yeast. Good beer, Belgians aren’t my normal. Need to strengthen my senses on them.
3.6 Tap, gold pour, white head, nose is citrus, taste is hoppy, more citrus, nice triple.
3.7 On tap straw color with lacy white head. Taste is malt, spice with a distinct hop bite. Over hopped triple is not my favorite style. This one is just OK.
3.6 This beer is a pale yellow-gold color with a medium fluffy (ha!) white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, yeast and mild citrus. Medium-bodied with flavors of grapefruit, earthy yeast and grassy hops. The finish is fruity up front with a peppery yeast aftertaste. Decent overall.
3.6 Bottle shared at the Syb Pig in Boca Raton, FL. Small snifter. Pours a hazy golden yellow with a moderate one finger head that lasted about 45 seconds. Some lacing. Aroma is slight lemon, spice, Belgian yeast, bread.cereal, and hay. The taste was Belgian style yeasts, cereal, hay, lemon, hint of spices, and herbs. Light body and moderate carb. Refreshing and good.
3.9 Bottle. Pours hazy golden with white head. Nose is pepper and pear. Taste is similar with some sourness. Good tripel.
3.5 Sample at Boulevardia 2014. Comes golden orange with a nice white head. Aroma of fruit, yeast, and spice. Taste is stone fruit, yeast, malt, grain, and spice. A bit too sweet.
3.4 Bottle. Pours a cloudy yellow with large frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is strong yeast, bubblegum, and clove. Medium mouthfeel with citrus and yeast with light dry finish. Good.
3.5 Nice Belgian and white combo, a little chalky but smooth. Nice balance but nothing stands out too much.
3.2 Great Belgian appearance, hazy orange with a slightly tan head that lasts for ages. Banana and alcohol on the nose. Flavor is syrupy-sweet with plenty of apricot and other fruits. Not much hop presence, mostly bitterness. Mouthfeel is thick and grainy, but with too much apparent alcohol heat. This isn’t bad or offensive or anything, it just doesn’t come together well.
3.6 Bottle from Proof. Slightly hazy golden pour with a fluffy white head. Aroma is bubble gum, yeast esters, Belgian candi sugars with some floral and grassy notes. Flavor is similar and sweet throughout with as grassy and floral hop bite at the end. Medium bodied and moderate carbonation. Not bad.
3.2 Clear golden of color with a white head. An aroma of spice, sweets, yeast and candy. A flavor of yeast, spice, dry, flour, alcohol and plastic.
3.1 Poured into Tulip Glass A: Poured with about a cm of head. Color was golden yellow to orange. S: Cloves and banana T: just like the smell with a little more spice and metallic taste M: slightly dry and bitter Overall: def. not my favorite. Did not really like the taste Serving type: bottle
2.5 Pale golden, lot of hops from the aroma to the mouth. Strong carbonation. Hops, cereals and yeast.
3.9 Cloudy orange with white head. Aroma is strongly citrus. Taste is not as hippy as expected and over balanced sweet. Still very enjoyable.
