3.6 Bottle. Pours in hazy dark brown color with low to medium off-white head. Aroma has a lot of caramel, nuts, brown sugar. Taste has medium to high earthy bitterness with low malty sweetness in the support. Sadly the bitterness overpowers the nice caramel notes in it. Body is full, medium carbonation.
3.6 Pours dark, ruby red peeking through. Foamy off white head that dissipates to a ring. Nose is caramel and malt. Taste is moderately sweet. Medium body. Mild carbonation. Nice brown ale.
3.5 Bottle at tasting. Soft aroma of chocolate and brown malt. Taste of mocca, chocolate, hazelnut and creamy yeast. Decent brown ale, drinkable, but a bit boring.
3.6 Bomber. Thanks Khiem! Clear reddish brown with a small beige head that lasts in a ring. Aromas of earthy spice, caramel, toasted malt, and light chocolate. Flavor is caramel, toasted malts, spice, light chocolate and nut. Medium bodied, smooth with a slight dry finish. Lingering caramel and chocolate.
3.1 Bottle share. Aroma is pistachio nuts, caramel, soy source. Taste is pistachios, clove, coriander, licorish, marzipan and caramel. Would go very well in the working mens’ clubs in the north of England. To style this is good but I don’t like brown ales much.
3.5 Bottle. Pours clear brown with a small, staying, creamy beige head. Aroma has nuts, chocolate, cocoa. Medium carbonation, fine dry and quite full mouthfeel. Fine cocoa notes, soft coffee, caramel. Fine bitterness. Good brown ale.
4.0 Bottle from Mikkeller webshop. Malty smell with caramel and dried fruit. Sweet and malty taste with caramel. Very nice, love the malt base on this.
3.3 Dark brown ale with malty/nutty flavor. Slight bitterness along with a tinge of sweet caramel flavor.
3.4 Appearance: medium amber brown, short light tan head, creamy but quickly fading. Aroma: brown and candi sugars, belgian yeast, some caramel and chocolate, bit of unripe banana. Taste: malty and sweet, with raisin, fig, a bit of caramel and chocolate, a bit of leather, and strong yeasty character. Finish: lingering yeasty notes, with lasting leather, tobacco, and candi sugar. Notes: A nice enough brown ale. Pretty prominent Belgian characteristics, and well-balanced. Bottle from Knightly Spirits in Orlando, Florida.
3.4 Deep brown pour, brown head. Aroma of cocoa and chocolate. Flavor is creamy, milk chocolate, a little roasty. Nice.
3.6 Bottle @ THT November. Pours a clear reddish beer with a small ring of off white head on top. Aroma of some Brett (?), grapes, chocolate and some roasted coffee. Flavor is lightly sour, even some peppery burn in the back. Thin mouthfeel, good drinkability and good stuff.

3.4 Sampled from bottle @ THT November. Clear red-brown color, small to average sized off-white to beige head. Aroma is malts, raisins, a hint of leaves, a hint of caramel. Taste malts, sweetness, caramel, raisins, dark fruits. Medium body and carbonation. Hmm ok beer.
3.5 sample at THT Movember Thin creamy white head, Clear amber pour. Nice hoppy brew
3.7 Bottle. Pours dark mahogany brown, tiny but very nice beige head. Aroma is fruity berries, marmalade and caramel. Slight toasty malt. Taste is medium sweet, caramel and toasted. Some nuts too. Really smooth texture. Medium to low bitter finish. A good fruity brown. Reminds me of studentermix.
3.8 Bottle @ Home. Thanks Lukas. Slightly hazy, medium thick off white head, nice lacing. Aroma, malty, nutty, roasted notes, caramel, light hop notes. Similar taste. Nutty, roasted aftertaste. Oily mouth feel.

3.1 "Not wild or funky, but definitely different than a normal brown. On the sweet malty side. Little hop presence. Yeasty like a Belgian brown with some fruit and nutiness, otherwise pretty tame. Not bad, but doubtful ill revisit."
3.5 Bottle at Mikkeller Bar Stockholm. Clear dark brown with a small head. Toffee, fruit, malt, some light notes of nuts and chocolate. The mouthfeel was creamy.
3.7 August 25, 2014. Bottled september 2013. Pours dark mahogny with creamy off-white head. Aroma is caramel, nuts, raisins, dark fruit, licorice. 3.5 @ Mikkeller Stockholm 14-9-20: något diskret doft men en mycket trevlig smak och fin fyllighet. Fina lite heta kolatoner, toffee och med en liten fruktig underton. ---- Soberness not garanteed!
3.4 Pours a clear light brown, looking dark brown in the glass. A nice and creamy looking tanned head. Heavy malty on the nose with almonds and nuts. Well balanced taste, I get hints of chocolate, malty caramel and nuts. Pretty nice and well rounded. Mouthfeel is actually quite crisp and the co2 is medium to high.
3.5 Gathers a 1-finger mocha head above a tar/mahogany body. Aroma of raisins, roasted malt, liquorice, toast. Hint of nuts. In keeping with the British interpretation of Brown-Ales. Unfortunately reminds me of the stale beer of pubs of yesteryear. Taste is malt, bread, brown sugar. Belgian influence perhaps. Creamy. Hop-bitters in the finish. No flavor just bitterness and some roasted coffee (yuk to the latter).
3.6 Bottle. Deep brown body with a frothy, beige head, rapidly diminishing. Aroma of roasted grain, nuts, caramel. Note of fruit and a hint of metal. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Dry finish. Nuts, roast and caramel tastes. Nice balance of a malty beer with bittering hops.
3.3 Bottle 65 cl from the Internets (Mikkellershop). Hazy ruby/mahogany with a light brown head. Fudge, dark fruit, slight chocolate, quite malty, brown sugar. Medium body, medium carbonation, slightly bitter finish, sticky.
3.9 Roasted caramelly chocolatey aroma. Deep clear red colour. Chocolate and roasted malt in the taste as welll, good balance between malt and hops with focus on the malt, a bit sweet reminiscent of unmahsed malt. Medium body, lively carbonation. Nice brown ale, with lots of malty goodness.
4.0 22 ounce bottle served in snifter glasses and shared over some cuban food. What a beer! Tastes like slightly sour and tangy fruit cake, sweet and thoroughly aromatic with dried fruits. Murky brown appearance, low foam. Palate is more carbonated than I had expected. Medium bodied. Excellent beer. Another winner from Pretty Things. These guys are batting 1.000 with me so far.
3.5 Bottle at World Cup Brazil tasting. Clear brown body with a medium offwhite head. Malt, grain, sweet caramel, metallic, light hops.
