Tiefschwarz. Dicht, ölig. Brauner, schöner Schaum. Sehr intensive Nase nach Röstaromen, reifen Waldbeeren - begleitet von einem frischen Hopfenhauch (Saphir- Aromahopfen!).
Herrliche Fülle am Gaumen, macht dort ordentlich Druck. Sehr langer Nachtrunk, die vielschichtigen Hopfenöle massieren sich in die Zunge, geben sie nicht so schnell frei.
Zartbitter und himmlisch. Erträgst Du die Fülle?

Aroma; roasted malts, black syrup, prunes, cherrues, vanilla. Look; beige head on pitch black body. Taste; roasted malts, sweet liquorice, black caramel, cough mixture, black toffee fudge, and finishes sweet lingering.
Feel; good body n smooth co².
Overall; it`s a nice n gentle impstout. I think even women will like this.

Fles @ Oberndorf-Bad Laasphe IV 2019 (Duitsland) Niet al te overheersende koffie en chocola smaak en wat droppig. Persoonlijk mochten de eerste twee wel wat sterker en voller aanvoelen. Bitter en redelijk droog en de drop is in de nasmaak redelijk scherp. Geur licht gebrande mout. Licht olieachtige structuur. Donker zwart met snel verdwijnende crème kleurige schuimkraag. Me eerste Duitse Imperial stout en deze is zeker niet verkeerd. Maar wat is we in hemelsnaam met het reinheidsgebot aan de hand? Het staat wel op de fles maar passen al die craft biertjes die ik in Duitsland vindt hier echt wel onder?

Bottle from ShivanDragon, thanks! Aroma is roasted malt with coffee, sharpish dark fruits, chocolate, touch of liquorice, lightly herbal. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a moderate roasty bitterness. Body is just a little above medium. Decent Imperial Stout, nice roast and coffee, but I'm not too fond of the sharpness from the dark fruity tones.
Good aromas, bitterness in the end, coffee , easy to drink but disssapears in the end. The whole taste is apparent in the middle of the mouth

Medium to full bodied, creamy & smooth over the palate leaving a thinner clean, soft finish.

Pechschwarz wie die Nacht schaut diese Bier aus. Geschmacklich ist alles da, was man sich erwartet, aber es wirkt schnell zu bitter. Ein bisschen mehr Süffigkeit und man hätte ein super Bier.
The head is somewhat modest and fleeting, the aroma sweet and malty: some liqourice and aniseed, but little coffee or roastiness. The balance on the tongue doesn't convince me: simply too sweet. To my mind, this beer lacks intensity and doesn't make up for it on the complexity scale, either.
Zum Glück kein "klassisches" Stout. Kein Kaffee und verhältnismäßig mild. Das Bier überzeugt mit einer runden Mischung aus Malz, welches Karamellnoten mit sich bringt, leichte Frucht von Trockenfrüchten und vor allen Kakao bzw. dunkle Schokolade.
Pours jet black with a large brown head. Reminded me of a coke in some ways. Aroma of charred wood, smoke, coffee and licorice. Very low carbonation and oily texture. Flavors of whiskey barrel and coffee. Easy to drink. A very nice brew.
Bought a bottle at the local Rewe's in Reinbek, Germany. stored in the refrigerator for three days before opening and pouring into a Stein style glass.
Head; Pours dark, almost jet black. head is a caramel color, and holds well, but disappears after a few minutes
Appearance: Deep, dark, almost black color. on a scale of 1-10, definitely a 10
Aroma: malts, caramel, hint of coffee, berries/fruitiness, hops.
Taste: Coffee, malty, hint of caramel, definite fruitiness, slightest hint of alcohol which adds to the experience, and does not detract from it. The hops used in the brewing are masterfully blended, working themselves into the tastes buds for a long finish. Long after you have had your last swallow, the beer remains on the tongue, reminding you of the delights you had enjoying it.
Mouthfeel: long taste, lingers, aftertaste is of malty coffee with a bit of fruity schnapps added. Altogether, a pleasant experience. Easily one of the better stouts I have had the pleasure of drinking.
Czarne, nieprzejrzyste z brazowa pianka. W aromacie duzo czekolady mlecznej i ciemnych suszonych owocow. W smaku podobnie, lekko wodniste. Rozgrzewa, mimo dobrze ukrytego alkoholu. Goryczka srednia majaczaca gdzies w tle.
En god stout. Kaffe og mørk chokolade og en del humle i eftersmagen. Fin fuæylde som den skal have.
330 ml bottle. Murky dark brown, stable cappuccino coloured head. Dried fruits, lemon, orange peel, roasted breadcrumbs, burnt malt, coffee, some metallic notes. Bittersweet. Oily slick texture, full bodied, warm and dry finish. Solid.
Intensives bitteres Malz. Leicht süß, dezent Honig und schwere Frucht. Wenig Röstaromen.
Starkes Bier mit süßer Note die den hohen Alkoholgehalt überlagert. Kaum Schaum, tief schwarz und leicht ölig.
19/6/2018. Bottle at Getränkefeinkost, Leipzig. Pours almost black with a lasting semi-firm beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee, dried fruit liquorice, nut and alcohol. Medium sweetness, moderate roasted bitterness. Medium to full bodied, slick texture, soft carbonation.
Fles 33cl thuis. Zoet, koffie, wat chemisch, rozijn, noten, vruchten. (6-2014).
Aroma: Roasted malt and dark sweet berries.
Flavour: Roasted malt and fruity sweetness with some alcoholic warmth.
Colour: Black with an offwhite head.

In der Nase etwas unrund, ich vermisse die Röstnoten. Auch im Trunk kommen die erst spät. So recht weiß ich nicht, wo das Stout hin will. Eigenartige Komposition.

Aussehen : tief Schwarz / Schaum : grau braun, kurzer Stand / Geruch : Malz, Kaffee, leichte Noten von Zitrusfrüchten / Geschmack : Kaffee, hopfig, prickelnd
Achetée au E-Center. Bière très noire abec une petite mousse beige crémeuse. Un nez rond de café, de grillé très prometteur. En bouche c'est un pur régal, elle est légèrement carbonatée, parfaitement. Elle est ronde et douce. Le café et le malt sont bien présent. Liquoreuse à souhait. L'alcool ne se ressent qu'à la fin du verre. Sûrement ma plus belle découverte de ce début d'année...
“Propeller Nachtflug“, Flasche (33 cl) von REWE Berlin. - Fast tiefschwarz anmutend, dunkelbeigefarbener Schaum. - In der Nase milder aber tiefgründiger exotischer Hopfen (Saphir, mit charakteristisch blumiger Zitrusfrucht) über warmem, tiefem dunklen Malz mit Bitterschokolade und Vanille. - Antrunk schwer und bitter röstmalzig mit starkem Espresso und weichen zitronigen Noten. Milde Malzsüße. Mild rezent, ölig schwer. Im Abgang wuchtiger Mokka und Bitterschokolade mit dezenter blumig-fruchtiger Hopfung. - Schönes, wuchtiges aber doch eingängiges Bier.

Taste: roasted malt is dominant. Bitterness is balanced by dried fruits flavour. Notes of coffee and citrus.
Kaschk Berlin. Aroma of black roast, coffee. Taste: mild roast, alcohol. Pleasant, smooth roast in the aftertaste. No ash to call it stout. It's Porter. Not complex, but drinkable. Nice to sip at the bar, but nothing more.
Decent roast level, nice coffee, dried fruits. Moderate sweet with light tartness, quite dry finish. Lovely, but nothing too fancy.
