3.4Cask at PoW, Farnborough. Dark fruit and creamy coffee aroma. Dark cola brown. Bubbly off-white head. Light bitter with a mix of sweetness and sourness. Creamy berries with a touch of coffee. Light bodied. Thin but slick. Flat carbonation. Slightly astringent finish. When Insaw how thin and relatively light it was pouring I had my doubts. However it's fruity enjoyable stuff.
3.2Chestnut aroma, mid brown pour with frothy head, earthy hop and caramel malt. Decent session beer.
3.4Pours a clear dark brown colour with a medium sized tan head that settled. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee grounds and nutty. Moderately sweet taste, roasted malts, some caramel and burnt grain flavours. Not much bitterness but some dryness in the finish.
3.2Pint on tap at the Hedley Verity.

2.9Cocoa and roast coffee. Watery but ok. Lacking depth to be v good.
2.8500ml bottle. Pours cola brown with a medium head. Aroma is cola, cocoa and roast. Taste is watery cola and yeasty roast. Dusty cocoa finish.
3.0Half at the Crosse Keys. It was a porter, malt, a bit of bitterness, but not much of a flavour profile. It wasn't that impressive.
3.9Swansea Weathespoon well kept. Slight head to the bottom. Dark slightly roasted malt flavours. Very enjoyable.

3.2Gravity Cask Half Pint at Battersea Beer Festival, London in Feb 2010 - Dark Brown in colour. Malty; roast malts, caramel, chocolate. Fruity; dark fruits, raisins. Hoppy; grassy hops. Sweetish malts and fruit/hop bitterness. OK. Drinkable. (2010-02)
3.2500ml bottle at home bought from Brewery shop. Also had on cask before,
Clear brown colour with beige head. This isn’t as good as I remember it, caramel nutty malty notes, not a deep body to it, Ok porter but definitely not as good as I remember.
3.1500 ml bottle. Pours clear brown with off-white, short-lived head. Grainy aroma with a hint of dark chocolate. Roasted taste with a bitter chocolate finish. Light bodied, pleasant. Nice beer, but nothing amazing.

Copper color, small steady beige head. Aroma has caramel and some fruityness. Light-bodied. Riped fruits, caramel in the flavor with some English hops. No roasted barley found.
2.8Fine beige foamy head and clear brown body. Soft nut aroma and that’s it. Flavour is soft hazelnut, some dark chocolate, malt. Dry finish. Rather boring but perfectly okay for a session or three.
3.1Dark amber, slightly sweet, gently hopped and just teetering over the border from bitter to English old ale. Wouldn’t go so far as to call it a porter though. Quite nice and very drinkable despite the sweetness.
3.4Thanks to my parents for bringing back a bottle of this. Tastes how it looks f that makes any sense, little sticky, some toffee, quite nice and mild
3.2Cask at The Swan, Stone. A clear deep ruby brown colour with a frothy off white head. Aroma of dark fruits, biscuit, slight caramel, a little chocolate and subtle spicy hops. Taste of dark fruits, biscuit, some chocolate, slight red berries and subtle spicy hops. Medium bodied and soft carbonation. A dry, fruity, chocolatey bitterness in the finish. Like most beers of this style, it’s very fruit and nut chocolate bar flavoured, however this as got a good body and I can drink a few of these.

3.1Dark brown with a light beige head. Aroma of toffee and a taste of caramel and dark fruit. Dark and and slightly sweet. Fruity hops without too much bitterness. A tasty brew.
2.8Dark appearance with thin lacy head. Thin and light bodied. Light fruity flavour. Quite plain.
3.4Tasted this in the Salt Cot, Saltcoats (JDW) on the 14th November 2015. Cask, handpump dispense. Crystal clear mahogany in colour with a thin creamy buff head. Rich malty aroma with notes of dark plum on the nose. Creamy mouthfeel and good lacing. Mixed malts gives a moist maltloaf base with strong vinous fruits, bramble and liquorice. - reminiscent of Everards Original. Spicy pepper note to the earthy bitter aftertaste. Dry malty finish with liquorice much in evidence along with the dark berry fruit. This is a decent session porter and well recommended.
