2.3 Pours a very hazy golden orange with little lace. Aroma of muted citrus and soapy notes. Tastes of wheat and mild citrus. Not a very exciting beer for this style.
2.6 Pours a hazy gold on tap with dissipating white head that leaves light lace. Aroma and taste of typical wheat and German yeast, not that exciting but not horrible.
3.5 355 ml bottle, in Sacramento. Except for the hops being American and not German, this could easily pass as a German Hefeweizen. Hazy pale straw colour, white head. Typica h.w. aroma and flavour of citrus, banana and cloves. Refreshing and pleasant to drink.
3.3 This is a good wheat beer easy to drink doesn’t really stand out not bitter,
3.2 Tap at Alehouse, with lemon. Cloudy orange Amber beer, a little white head aroma lemon and orange juice, faint kombucha. Taste pale malt, clove, lemon. Palate nice, not too light, but smooth. Finish almost dry.
3.0 Cerveja de trigo não filtrada. Refrescante, suave. Razoável em comparação a outras que já degustei nesta categoria.
3.8 From the bottle of a six pack on special for $5.99(+). This one goes down smooth. Has more character than the American wheat ales I’ve tried, but less than traditional German Hefes (and a lil more carbonation). Nice change of pace from what I usually buy, and great for summer. Overall solid purchase.
2.9 Tap at brewery with commonmac and rosskyle. Unfiltered gold with white head. Sweet and slightly citrus smell. Not very full but has the hefeweisen elements. Wished it went for it more. Refreshingly average.
3.0 Bottle from Homeplus  in Seoul. Served in a weizen glass. A nice golden cloudy wheat pour with a thick light beige head. The nose is yeasty bready graham. The taste is bready sweet yeasty banana. The body is med-light but it has a bready honey quality to it. The taste is sweet honey graham with a light fruitiness. Average.
3.0 Toasty hoppy nice easy drinker. Nice easy average. For a hefe not banana like but malty toasty nice. Sweet light lemon.
2.6 Ok hef. Draft at pyramid. Cloudy in color served with a lemon wedge. aRoma’s of clove, banana, and lemon. Fruity and bubblegum Flavors. Decent beer for hot weather on a patio.
3.1 An interesting light west coast hefeweizen. From a bottle, pours a thoroughly hazy orange/grapefruit appearance, white foamy head, a nice summery look to it. Citrus, sweet mango and orange notes on the nose. Very soft light tropical taste, wheat, banana, lemon, other fruits, also a hint of hop bitterness in the finish. Soft palate to the point of being weak, yeastyness is understated. Maybe on draft it would have a stronger flavor. Overall, this brew has a lot of refreshing aspects, but as a whole not that great.
2.8 Bottle (bought for beer cheese soup) A: Cloudy orange with a thin white ring of head. Some lacing. N: Biscuit, earth, pine, clove, hint of citrus and banana. Fairly basic. T: Bready and more bitter than sweet. M: Light body, fuzzy carbonation, no alcohol burn. O: The beer that is. Not original or complex but easy to drink while making dinner. Certainly not in the field of Weihenstephaner.
3.0 Hazy straw colour. Aroma is citrus. Taste is citrus, vanilla, and banana bread. A little bit too carbonated for the style.
3.0 Bottle. Pale clear gold, small head. Sweet malt. Banana. Weak, clean but not tasty.
2.6 Draft pour many times over the years. Pours a cloudy banana orange color with a patchy head. Soft, sweet fruit aroma. Flavor is very grainy, with hints of tropical fruit throughout. Not a very enjoyable beer for me, but I’ll take it over its common competition most days. Gets old, but not horrible.
2.6 average frothy white head. good lacing. mostly diminishing. clear average-density beige body. aroma: moderate yeasty, honey, metal. if: moderate sweet. ff: moderate sweet very light bitter; short duration. palate: medium body, watery/oily texture, lively carbonation, metallic finish. Dulcor de mel e levedura. Levíssimo toque de banana no background, ao contrario do que se espera em cervejas de trigo. Refrescante. Paladar metalizado proveniente do fato de ter vencido no mês passado.8 s
2.8 From 10 year old note: Bottle: Yellow orange colored beer. White foam. Smell fruit, banana, grains. Taste sweet, grains, fruit.
2.0 Clear golden, small white head. Light, malty aroma. Malty, fruity flavour without any of the typical esters. Bad hefe.
2.5 Bottle. Pours clear golden with small white head. Clear aroma of malt, with notes of yeast and hops. Sweetish, malty flavour with notes of yeast and hops and subtle touches of citrus. Rough and estery afteraste. Okay but not much more than that.
3.2 Bottle, 5.2%. Hazy golden colour. Small white head. The flavour is yeasty with a bit of white bread and some flowery hops.
2.8 "pretty much another average beer from Pyramid...the only positive that seperates it just a little is the heavier wheat taste than in many other heffes. I like to be able to taste the wheat."
3.0 Draught @ Recovery: This one pours a cloudy golden color with a small white head. No lacing. Lighter lemon and wheat aroma. Also, a lighter lemon and wheat taste. OK, but nothing more.
3.5 Transfer from BA review on 12-8-13- Poured from bottle into a pint glass Appearance – The beer pours a very hazy amber-orange color with tons of carbonation bubbles seen streaming up through the body of the beer. Upon pouring there is only a very small fizzy white head that rapidly fades, leaving only a trace of light lace on the sides of the glass and a persistent while foam layer on the surface of the brew. Smell – The aroma is strongest of a wheat smell mixed with a rather strong orange and sweet lemon smell. Along with these aromas are some decently strong spice smells of coriander, clove and some nutmeg as well as a light grassy smell. Taste – The taste begins with a slightly grainy wheat and yeasty flavor mixed with a bit of sweetness of an orange nature. The sweetness is strongest upfront, with it fading slightly as the taste advances to the end. Along with the loss of some of the sweetness, spice flavors begin coming to the tongue with coriander and clove being the strongest. The clove flavor really starts getting strong more toward the end of the taste, with it being joined by some grassiness and an increase in the yeast. With all the changes in the flavor, as well as the arrival of a little bit of lemon at the very end of the taste, one is left with a grainy wheat, citrus, and spiced yeasty flavor on the tongue; one that is relatively average for a hefenwizen. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the slightly thinner to average side in terms of thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is a bit on the higher side. Both are rather appropriate for the style and make it a rather easy drinking brew. Overall – An alright, easy drinking Hefe, but nothing that is super exceptional. Nice and easy drinking.
2.6 Very sweet aroma with a heavy palate. Slight citrus with a sweet and clean finish. ....
3.5 DATE REVIEWED: August 10, 2014... GLASSWARE: Weihenstephaner weizen... OCCASION: birthday weekend recovery...APPEARANCE: golden orange, almost Oktoberfest colored body that hazes beneath spongy three-finger, white head; low carbonation; lacing is wispy... AROMA: Yow! yeasty funk that sports bubblegum, prominently; secondary banana is detectable; a bit offensive... PALATE: more carbonated than its appearance suggests; pleasantly drinkable, light-bodied and cleansing; does its job well... TASTE: banana, cumin and hay--a direct profile that doesn’t intrude on its refreshing intent; not as BIG as a hefe, though--or as complex as its nose suggests...OVERALL: after some sun and yardwork, this beer is a recharger for sure--the glass empties swiftly and is a softer, more accessible version of its better versions...
2.2 Bottle. Golden color, massive white head. Aroma of subtle banana, light citrus. Taste is similar. Hi carbonation detracts from the taste.
3.3 Not my favorite. Don't get me wrong, it was a tasty brew, but I have had some incredible hefes the this doesn't touch.
4.2 Solid hefe. Surprised by the low ratings here -- I’m not sure what people are expecting? I wouldn’t mind a bit more banana notes in the flavor, but this one is quite good.
3.5 Bottle shared with hakes dr, and megan after jazz fest.. hazy orangish pour with thick white head, funky apricot aroma with some lemon after taste, not bad,
