Raasted Cascade IPA

Raasted Cascade IPA

English:Brewed with an American inspiration and hence brewed using the American hops Cascade and Centennial which give the beer a spicy and citrusy note. The cascade hops contributes a hint of elder flower. The bitterness is balanced by quite some residual sweetness, which makes the beer full-bodied and fruity. The beer is suited for heavy and fat dishes where the hops and carbonation gives a nice balance, but it is also well suited for grilled meats and sandwiches.

3.8 500 ml bottle, from Fakta, Denmark. ABV is 5.0%. Deep golden colour, slightly hazy. Huge and long lasting white (or slightly off-white) head. Strong aroma of Cascade hops, fruity notes of citrus, a hint of elderflowers. Also some woody and peppery notes. Well hopped flavour too, with a solid bitterness. Again spicy / peppery and woody notes, also grapefruit. A decent IPA, despite the fairly moderate ABV.
3.3 Copenhagen 26/5 2015. 50 cl bottle from Kvickly. Pours hazy orange with big white head. Dissolves to 1 cm thick layer of foam. Aroma is fruity with notes of grape fruit and citrus. Medium carbonation. Taste is bitter with some citrus sourness. Long aftertaste. Not very complex but nice American-inspired pale ale.
3.7 Bottle at Fårup Sø camping, Denmark. Pours dark amber with off-white head. Aroma of citrus, caramel, some sulfur. Tastes bitter with little bitterness. Medium bodied, bitter finish.
1.2 And Odd smell and taste of burnt rubber. This must be a fault in production??????????!
Intensiv beska i eftersmaken. Småtrevlig öl.

3.4 Fin fin bud på en IPA'er. Plus point for at komme lokalt fra Randers. Men mangler kant. Dog alt i alt en ok starter IPA'er (for kvinder...)!
3.1 Bottle. Hazy Golden color, small tan head. Very minor Nose, floral notes. Taste is malty and crisp. Only slightly bitter finish. Medium body, average carbonation.
2.6 Blomsterduft afdæmpet som lover godt. Moderat bitter frugtsmag ikke specielt markant. Godt afstemt sødme. Lidt mudret i smagen ikke skarp adskilt.
3.1 Bottle 50cl. Dark amber with an kff white head. Pine tree aroma. Flavour is mainly bitter, not aromatic as most american hopped IPA’s, but it’s definite bitter :-). The malt is also nicely present. Medium length.
3.4 50cl bottle from Fakta. Pours a hazy amber with a medium sized, white, soapy head. Aroma has sweet but nice malts, tropical fruits and lots of cascade hops. Slight caramel. Taste is fairly sweet and intense up front, but gets more fresh and bitter. Lots of citrus peel and pineapple. Pretty big mouth feel for 5% abv. Average carbonation. Decent value!
3.3 50 cl bottle @ home. Pours cloudy amber with an off-white head that leaves some lacing. Aroma and flavour are pine, grapefruit, and caramel - with a bitter finish.
3.7 Full hoppy aroma, nice red hue with white head. The taste is rich in bitter hops and quite aromatic but a bit watery on the finale.
3.4 50 cl. bottle poured in to a Tulip. Hazy, amber colour with a huge, fluffy white head. Fruity aroma with citrus, pines, grape, resin, orange peel and caramel malts. Taste is bitter. Medium body with a creamy texture and an average carbonation. Finishes dry and bitter with fruits and caramel malts. Nice, straightforward IPA.
3.4 Bottle from Brugsen, Copenhagen - medium hazy amber coloured pour with medium white head. Citrus fruity hoppy and malty aroma and taste, some light caramel, lemon, mandarin, straw, some grassy and floral nuances, better than expected.
3.3 Bottle. Hazy amber pour with thick offwhite head. Aroma is fresh with tropical fruit. Taste starts bitter quickly becomes tame. Not all that bad
3.2 Amber orange near-clear body, pearl white head, lacings 0. Aroma; lemon, caramel malts, resin, lemon, dough, sour apricot notes, citric peels. Taste; resiny juice, herbal malts, lemon, citric hops. Moves more to caramel in the finish part, still distinct pine hops. Dry notes on palate, mostly normal though, quite mild for the style. Overall tasty, easy - maybe a bit too easy? [50cl brown bottle, abv5.0%, #L13191, BB.juli2015]
3.2 Bottle. Pours clear bronze with a dense head. Light on the hops, resin, some pine, herbal notes and some biscuits.
3.4 Bottle, 50cl. Pours with an unclear, yellow-orange colour with an off-white head. Rich, fruity aroma with citrus-ish cascada hops, apricots, pines, orange peel and grapes along some caramel light malty notes. More malt in the taste, but still very fruity with oranges, tangerine, apricots and oranges. Long and rather dry citrus hoppy bitter finish. Oily texture, medium body and average carbonation. Not as fresh as hoped, but still a very reasonable IPA.
3.5 (bottle 04/08-2014) medium beige head, slightly unclear amber color, some bitterness, hoppy aroma, rather long hoppy taste, fit body. BB date sept 2015, L14012.
3.3 Pours amber orange with a fine white head. Great aroma of pine, citrusy hops, sweet malts. Taste is a little less interesting and delicate, but otherwise quite similar to the aroma. A tad to much malt for my liking. Medium body and carbonation. Good value IPA. - with thirst, Niklas

2.2 Flaske, 50 cl. Mørk orangefarvet. Karamel, appelsin, grapefrugt. Kedelig.
