Ratsherrn Rotbier

Rotbier – weißer Schaum, rubinrote Farbe. Hört sich irgendwie nach Hamburg an. Schon im frühen 13. Jahrhundert sollen Brauer hier ein Rotbier hergestellt haben. Eine ausgesuchte Spezialmalzmischung und der Aromahopfen Saphir machen unser Rotbier so rund und angenehm zu trinken.

3.1 0,33 l Flasche. Dunkelrotes Bier, cremefarbenen Schaum, Gardine okay. Riecht ausgeprägt malzig, Röstaroma, rote Beeren. Schmeckt nach Karamell, Röstaroma, dezent bitter.

3.5 Red copper colour with beige head. Aroma malty and a bit nutty. Taste sweet malt, caramel and some spice.

3.4 Keg at Altes Madchen, Hamburg. Toasty russet brew. Sticky nut and tangy tobacco crispness. Drinkable enough.

3.4 330ml Flasche. Klar und kastanienbraun mit kleiner Schaumkrone. Malzig. Ordentlicher Körper. Vollmundig.

3.5 Good amber lager with nice bitter flavors and a creamy and sweet body. Medium finish.

2.8 Achetée au E-Center en Allemagne. Bière ambrée rouge au nez et à la bouche fade hormis la touche de caramel. Pas mauvaise mais pas exceptionnelle.

2.8 Clear dark amber color with off-white head. Aroma of caramel and malt. Taste is light bitter with notes of sugar. Average. Not my type of beer.

3.2 Amber brown, large head. Very dry light malts, biscuit and dusty caramel. Drinks nice, but not a big fan of the style. (33cl bottle traded with Bardo, thanks!)

3.1 11.03.17 from 33 cl bottle and draught at the brewery. The draught version was more fresh and intens in taste. I leave here the notes of the bottle version (bb 22.09.17). Smell is light malty, carmel and somewhat red fruit. The taste stays somewhat sweet whit a good hopbitter in aftertaste.For the rest some red fruit. Beer had a goos balance of sweet, malty and hopbitter. Especially in the draft version.

3.7 Kernig, malzig in der Nase. Schönes Rit im Glas. Im Trunk Karamell, malzig, im Abgang bitter. Insgesamt sehr cremig, rund, lecker.

3.5 Clear redish hued golden with white head. Rich malty aroma with caramel, toffee, autumn leaves, citrus and orange. Sweet malty taste with a slight bitter edge, toffee, caramel, blood orange and grapefruit. Medium mouthfeel, light carbonation and bitter caramel aftertaste.

3.2 Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear, dark amber with a small, off-white head. Burned caramel aroma with a whiff of metal. Rich, malty body, solid caramel and nuts with a dry finish. Very well made for the style with a strong caramel emphasis. 310117

3.2 0.33l bottle from marktkauf/edeka. pours a hazy deep amber with a medium beige head. aroma of caramel malts, hay, brown sugar, a hint of berries. flavour of toasted malts, wood, nuts. fizzy carbonation. slightly roasty bitter finish. not bad.

3.1 Beautiful red coloured beer with a nice head. Sweetish, roasty taste. Not bad at all

3.4 330ml bottle @ Parsley & Fruits, Aachen. Pours ruby with a thin off-white head. Aroma is berry fruit, malts. Taste continues with toffee and red berry, smooth malts with a confident bitterness. Nice.

2.9 Aus der Flasche getrunken (aus Hamburg mitgebracht). Schönes Braunamber mit stabiler Schaumkrone im Glas. Malzige Nase. Fruchtig-malziger Körper, durchaus etwas karamellig durch beide Caramalze.

3.3 Bottle - slightly over BB-Date - Color is clear dark red, small head. Taste is red fruits, cranberries, sweet malts, toffee. Finish is medium bitter. Well balanced. Good.

3.4 Taster at the altes Mädchen; Reddish brown with medium slightly off white head; aroma is caramel, malty sweetness, some fruitiness, gentle roast; taste is low sweet, grainy malty, fades into caramel, roast, and a hint of hops, low to medium bitter;
