This light bodied blonde ale is perfectly balanced with a touch of Crystal hops for bittering and aromatics. Fireman’s #4 is a great choice on any hot Texas summer day or pair it with spicy foods to help you put out the fire.

2.9Can. Pours clear pale golden with a small, staying creamy white head. Aroma has sweet malts, light esters, apples, wheat. Medium carbonation, fine dry and fairly light mouthfeel. Flavour has sweet malts, esters, wheat, citrus, grassy bitterness. Somewhat short finish.
4.1A great pale ale for those wanting a "not so hoppy" pale ale. A fantastic summer beer.
4.2Pours slight hazy golden orange little head, smells of cracked barley, slight yeasty, tastes of cracked malt with yeasty bitterness slight coriander, smooth mouth-feel sweet smooth finish, moderate carbonation.
This is a great golden ale that goes great with spicy food.
4.4I love this beer, although I understand that not everyone is going to like it, I think it is great!
3.9Draft at Stubbs BBQ, Austin TX. I don’t get how this ends up at 27 percentile. This is a solid IPA, slightly hazy orange gold with no head. Aroma of citrus and sweet malt. The hops are well balanced with the malt.
3.0Pours a nice yellow with fluffy white head that dissipates shortly. Aroma is sweet, bready, maybe even a little banana? Taste is smooth - a little sweet, some smooth grain, and a touch of bitter hops on the finish. Not necessarily nuanced, but smooth and very drinkable.
3.6Bottle. Bready malt and hay aroma. Golden yellow with moderate head. Lightly sweet biscuit malt and mildly bitter straw flavor. Nice body. Pretty good.
3.2Golden yellow in color... Aroma of biscuity bready malts, caramel, wort... Flavor is bready malts, sweet grains... Very drinkable but not terribly exciting...
3.2Bottle:
Hazy yellow with a short white head.
Grain, sweet corn aroma.
Sweet, grain and grass taste.
Kinda grows on you.....nicely malted.
Runs more rich than I expected..
Not bad at all.
2.6Tap@Flying Saucer, Fort Worth, USA. Light artificial wheaty aroma. Yellow color with medium creamy white head. Medium/light smooth unbalanced taste of wheat. Narrow taste spectrum and short slightly hoppy aftertaste. Medium body with medium/light carbonation. Overall nice looks and feels doesn?t correlate with taste.
3.9(En fût au Radio Coffee & Beer): Une Landbier assez propre avec une touche d’acidité. Buvabilité extraordinaire.
3.012oz Flasche. Goldgelbes Bier, wenig Schaum. Hopfen und Getreide Aroma. Süffiges Bier.
3.5Originally rated on 10/12/07. I have had this in both bottle, can and keg. Decent golden color, a little maltly but smooth,it had a small hop presence but it is a good quality beer. Easy to drink, it’s worth trying."

2.6Rated based on notes taken 20 Jan 2013 -- A standard and simple blonde. It’ll drink well in the Texas heat, it’s simple it’s relatively cheap. But that’s about all.
3.0Bottle. Thanks, Nate. Mild grainy nose. Very thin golden straw color. Thin pale malt initial, a mild twist of peaches, and some simple gentle bittering. Thin body. Okay. Pleasant, mild, drinkable.
3.1Bottle. Clear blonde color, lacy low head. Creamy biscuit, wheat, crackers in the nose, a bit of lemon and grass. Bready flavor, grass, a bit catty. Decent enough Easy.
4.4One of the best beer i've ever had. Like the taste. Very good.

2.9On tap. SEEms pretty weak. Desperately watching a women’s college fast ball game. Weak man, weak. Grass, weak
Mushrooms on 3 Seperate sips. I don’t know the rest due to massive
Over consumption.

4.0A great standard beer, but that's where it stops. If you're a basic beer kind of person, get this and smile and impress your friends. Otherwise, if you're a beer nerd, get a single and keep it moving.

5.0Had it at B and J’s pizza in Corpus Christ TX.. Paired well with my pepperoni and jalapeño pizza!!!
2.6Tap at Yard House in Houston. Clear pale gold pour with minor head. Syrupy texture, bland sweet grain taste. Meh.
2.9Draft. Pours gold with a white head. Relatively clean and nondescript, with light grainy notes and just a hint of sweetness. Not bad.
3.3Bottle from the sampler pack from HEB pearland. Straight from the bottle. Nice Aroma smells of slight bread and hop. Taste comes in with a light bread note with some earth in it followed by small hop note, solid American Blonde Ale. I don?t know what are all these low reviews are about, I guess you can get so snobby all you want to drink is stouts.
3.0Reasonably good beer. Clean and crisp. Sweet smell. Quick finish with little in the way of lingering flavors or hops.
2.5Sampled on draught at the Lone Star on Riverwalk, San Antonio as Alamo Golden Ale. Golden colour with a white head. Light and refreshing with a mildly bready aroma and taste. Not much hop flavour, but some lemon citrus notes. Pleasant, but not memorable. A beer suitable for hot summer weather.
2.6Gold pour, small white head. Light aroma, not much there. Flavor is light, floral, and wheaty. Exceedingly boring.
2.9Draft. Gold color. Very standard golden ale malt and spice not bad, pleasant but boring.
2.8Pours a straw yellow color with a thin white head which disappears quickly.....aroma of sweetness, a bit of yeastiness......taste is a touch spicy fading away to a clean bit of sweet breadiness with barely noticeable bittering on the back end. A nice summer brew.
