1.4The foam decreases rapidly, leaving a thin layer on a low-carbonated beer. Therefore, it acts quickly flat. The aroma is not as exciting, but is just slightly hoppy. The taste lacking fullness and richness malt and hops are shown not the good Czech Saaz, but rather a less expensive and less appealing alternative. Hop bitterness is actually only flavor factor in this pilsner and expects to Czech quality you will be disappointed.
1.5Ei ollut mikään kapinallinen kyllä. Hyvin litku ja valju. Loppuyön lämmin baarikalja.
3.5Mild grass and malt aroma. Bold golden colored body with a milk colored head about two inches high which hangs around for awhile. Grainy malt taste with a light bitterness. Feels bubbly on the palate. Has a fairly clean finish and enjoyable. Refreshing and would enjoy again.
3.812 oz. bottle from Cost Plus. Pours a clear golden brown with a white puffy head. Malt and grassy hops in the aroma. Taste is a well balanced grassy hop bitterness with an underlying malt sweetness. Light to medium body with good carbonation. Bready aftertaste. Well done for the Pilsner style.
2.1I feel like calling something a Pilsner gives it the excuse it needs to taste like Coors light
2.00.5 l bottle from local supermarket. Clear dark yellow colour with normal head. Taste has malts and some sugar. Basically a crap beer made for export. Label has the ingredients and other useful information only in Czech: this has added sugar, hop extract and it is pasteurized, so it is not the real thing. I hope the beer for the domestic market is better than this.
2.8Bottle. Clear golden yellow color, puffy white head. Aroma of stale cornflakes. Taste is straw, white pepper, light citrus. Light body.
2.5Bottle. Pale yellow with medium foamy whitish head, crisp malt aroma, slightly sweet taste, low carbonation, abrupt finish. It was interesting at the st art but quickly became boring and flat.
4.1Rebel Beer has a very thick, overflowing, slightly off-white head, a deep golden, bubbly, mostly clear appearance, with larger and smaller tan chunks suspended top to bottom, and heavy lacing left on the glass. The aroma is of medium-toasted malt, slight citrus, and grassy hops. Taste is of sweet & sour, medium-toasted malts, grassy hops, and bread dough. The mouthfeel is light to medium, and Rebel Beer finishes crisp, clean, and refreshing. RJT
2.9Butelka 44cl. Rebel Tudor.
Smells decent but strong with some cooked vegetable and corn. A bit metallic too. Taste is very malty with delicate bitterness. nothing to remember.
3.2Pretty much a standard pils. True to style. Balance of saaz hops and light caramel maltiness. Finishes dry with some hay. A good Czech pils.
2.612 oz bottle pours golden with a white head. Aroma of malts, pine and grain. Taste is malts and resin.
2.8Really nothing to write home about here.
Pours a crystal clear light amber with limited head.
Nose is a heavy pils malt that isn't unpleasant and has a bit of hops in the background.
Medium body with great effervescence come through with good malt/hop balance with hops just barely coming through. Clean finishing with mild bitterness.
2.8500 ml bottle as Czech Rebel @ Fox and Hound, Åbenraa. Clear golden body with an off-white head. Aroma has light malt and hint of hops. Flavor is sweet malt, some caramel, hint of butterscotch and moderate bitterness. Medium body and a bit short in aftertaste. Drinkable and probably not bad for a Czech pilsner, but not my thing really.
2.7Clear straw gold, small bubbly white head. Nose has a lot of minerals, malty sweetness, noble hops. Flavor is smooth malts, caramel, mild noble hops in the finish. Pretty plain.
3.2Bottle, 4.4% version. Light golden body, medium steady head. Aroma has sweet grassy Saaz. Light body with a clean classic Czech Pilsner taste, not much to describe here. Soft hoppy finish. Good uncomplicated thirst beer for hot days like today.
2.4500ml bottle (as "Czech Rebel"). Clear golden color. Medium size, white head, stays. Looks fizzy. Sweet, metallic, malty, minerals, plastic notes in aroma. Malty, sweet, caramel, touch of hops in taste. Soft bitterness.
2.8bottle @ John’s Grocery / Iowa City IA --- Clear medium amber with a thin head cover, dots and spots of lace. Taste is sweet malt that moves smoothly through the palate to a slightly bitter finish. Pretty simple stuff, but easy to quaff. Reminds me of the new Sterling (Louisville).
2.80,5L bottle, BB 25.12.14. Pours golden with off-white head. The head stays for a moment Aroma is grains and malt. Flavor is sweet and bitter, malt, grains and some saaz hops. Finish is nice dry-nutty bitterness. Overall: finish is the best thing about this brew, otherwise it’s not really good nor really bad.
2.9Golden color , nice white head. Aroma of malt and hay. Malty taste with grassy notes. Light bitterness in finish and aftertaste. Normal pilsener.
2.2500ml bottle as Imported Czech Beer 4.4 % abv, thanks to djoeye. Two-finger sized head reduced to a patchy surface. Bright dark golden body. Spotty lacework to the glass. Sweet pale malty aroma, hints of caramel. Taste of grainy and buttery malts. Vague hints of cardborad. Notes of malt bitterness to the ending. Soft to lively carbonated. Medium to thin bodied. Drinkable and half-way food friendly (Tromsø, 15.06.2014).
3.0Bottle pour. Clear golden. Good lacing. Smooth body with a light bitter aftertaste.
3.6"Rebel Imported Czech Beer 4.4%" : Aroma; spicy hops, malts, bread, wort, herbs, faint hint of butyric.
Bright pearl white small head diminishes, clear medium golden body.
Taste; malts, hops and grains, bread, wort, grass, notes of butter stuff, faint hint of caramel elements, tiny butterscotch.
Pearly-grainy to palate, easy to drink. Distinct carbonation.
Finishes to the caramel-toffee side with some pearling hops under, making a bittersweet touch to it.
Overall nice to drink, a little organic spicy feel from this pilsener, good beer, and czech style is present.

2.9500ml bottle from supermarket in Kotka, labelled as "Rebel Czech beer", abv 4.4%. Clear darkish yellow colour, large mostly lasting frothy white head, fair lacing. Aroma of hay, floral hops, butter and light bread. Taste is initially bittersweet and moderately acidic, turning into a fairly long moderately bitter and astringent finish with some sweetness and acidity remaining. Medium body, dry mouthfeel that tuns watery when the carbonation decreases, lively carbonation. Otherwise a not very interesting albeit decent Czech pils, but the finish was actually one of the better ones I’ve come across in a while and only in a handful of pilsners ever.
3.0Bottle to pint. Looks decent; a transparent gold with foamy white head and lively carbonation. Smells doughy and unaversively skunky with mild hop notes. Tastes like it smells with a solid mouthfeel. Better than its mean indicates IMO.
1.6neat frothy head clear gold pour medium carbonation the aromas caramel grain hay the flavours grassy hay sweet caramel flat rough very dull the finish no brightness very uninspiring pilsener just drinkable
1.1Highly disappointing. I made two mistakes: One, I bought this beer. Two, I saved it for my last beer of the evening. Recommended you avoid this brew.
2.8On tap.
Clear golden colour, fine pored white head.
Easy malty aroma ruled by honey underpainted by grassy hops.
Rather malty finish, too, escorted by mild hops.
Easy one.
3.0Pale gold. Fruity aroma with light bitterness. Easy on the palate but feels heavy on carbonation.
