Red Stripe

Red Stripe

First brewed in 1938.

It is a light alcohol drink with not too strong bitterness but rather soft taste; therefore, it’s easy to drink it up.

Brewed for the UK market by Charles Wells since 1976.

Brewed for US market at City Brewery’s Latrobe plant since 2012.

3.3 Bonne bière style bud
1.6 Thin beige head left a spotty cover on a slowly carbonated clear pale golden coloured body. Wet cardboard, grain & tobacco aroma. Medium bodied, soft, limp & cloying. Sweet, concentrated juice & unknown fruit tastes. That's really poor.
2.3 In einer Bar in Tel Aviv. Flasche. Kein besonders Aroma. Geschmack: Süßlich, Honig. Nichts besonderes.

1.1 Pours clear golden with a one finger, white head. Aroma is grass. Taste is faint corn and grass. Finish is grass. If you like chewing on grass, have I got a beer for you.
5.0 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
4.5 Best end to a pint so far
2.6 Malt and light citrus aroma. Easily drinkable, malt taste, mid sweet and light bitterness.
1.6 Arrière goût de pomme
3.0 Old Untappd check-in. Before October 19, 2016. Don’t recall where I had this one, nor particularly what I thought of it.
2.7 I had this beer in September 2017 and rated it with 2,75 stars in UT. Nothing special, if this wasn't from Jamaica.
4.0 Cerveja leve, e bem gostosa para ser tomada num dia para se acalmar.

3.4 6pk 330ml bottles. Haven’t drank this beer in at least 10 years. Pours light straw lasting white head. Aroma is bread, light grains, lemon, lime, touch of malt sweetness. Crisp, refreshing. Taste is actually really good for a macro lager, way better than the average swill. Lovely malts, bread and cereal, nice citrus hop notes.
2.6 Old rating - 330ml bottle, pours amber with a white head. Aromas & tastes of light citrus, grain, bread & malt. Moderate body. Light bitter finish
2.2 Old Untappd checkin, November 18, 2016. Brown glass bottle. Light, sweet aroma. Easy drinking lager, nice when ice cold on a hot day.
4.1 Amber pour. Thick foam. Malt and barley flavor with sweet malt palate and nutty sweet malt finish. Easy carbonation
3.2 Premium bud light
2.0 0.33 bottle. Jamaicán nagyobb mennyiségben is innám a parton.
2.5 Bottle of 33cl, in a Tulip glass; from the fridge. Drinked @home. We're in front of a clear golden beer, with a medium white head. Good carbonation, pilsy. Another usual pils, a little bit too sweet. No aftertaste at all.
2.8 Nice light beer, the price is a little bit high comparing others
2.6 Fresh, light malty beer. Almost no bitterness. However, still thicker than Corona. Fine brew considering it's kind
2.3 330ml bottle from a convenience shop in Motspur Park. Pours clear straw with a dissipating white head. Aroma of malt. Lemon taste. Dry finish.
2.3 Many thanks YantarCoast for this one. Appearance: brilliant pale yellow with a moderate white head of medium retention. Aroma: lone grain. Maybe some additional bread. Taste: pure, clean, malty. Faint hop. Low bitterness. Mouth feel: Light plus body. Average to lively carbonation. Summary: an unremarkable mass production lager. I guess would be quaffable on a beach of Jamaica. Otherwise not great.
4.7 Red stripe
4.4 Bem saborosa, supreendeu!
2.8 Ja man. Jammin' beer from Jamaica 🇯🇲 to open the weekend man. Light and refreshing.
1.0 Rating copied from Untappd. Bought at Systembolaget and had at an unknown location on 27 jul 2014
3.4 Nice Smooth Drink. Very underrated👍
2.4 One of the better mass produced lagers, has that little something extra to set it apart. Obviously still not the great, but very refreshing and satisfying.
