4.4 Butelka 0,33 litra. Barwa czarna, z rubinowymi prześwitami, po których wnoszę, że klarowna. Piana beżowa, umiarkowanie trwała. Mega palone i mega smaczne.
4.1 33cl fles. Smaak: geroosterde moutbitterheid, koffie, licht kruidig. Redelijk glad mondgevoel. Medium koolzuurprikkel. Afdronk: lang, geroosterde mout, koffie, lichtjes kleverig zoet. Lekker en complex!
3.1 Bottle, 330ml. A deep, syrupy pour with a small brown head. Cola aroma. Flavour has chocolate malt, cocoa, hop notes. A little hop bitterness in the finish. Light carbonation. Tasty.
3.7 Black color, minimal beige head. Aromas of chocolate, roasted malt, licorice, oats and yeast. Taste of roasted malt, licorice, coffee, alcohol and smoke.
3.9 Bottle, many thanks chriso! Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma is earthy, chocolate, light prune, classic English motor oil Stout feeling. Taste is prune, chocolate, liquorice, motor oil. Oily mouthfeel with soft carbonation. Very good!
4.0 Jet black with tanned (caramel) head. Burnt cherry, liquorice, coffee, smokey ... Easily drinkable, a little carbonated. Really nice on the nose , dark cherry is most prevalent (on my nose, at-least) topped off by a real nice taste. Really good beer.
4.1 330ml bottle. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma: roast coffee, liquorice, hint of chocolate, earthy hop. Taste: light sweet, moderate bitter, coffe, liquorice, dark berries, pine. Medium body, soft carb, dry slightly smoky finish. Complex & tasty. Cracking stuff
3.8 At long last typing in the last backlog from Borefts 2015. Roasted aroma with toffee and licorice. Full bodied with a hoppy finish
4.0 Bottle. Pours black with tan head, some lacing. Liquorice and black currant aroma. Taste is more of the same with addition of subtle coffee, great balance of sweetness then lingering bitterness on the finish. Really good!
3.9 Bottle 330 ml at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Aromas of black espresso coffee, chocolate and caramel. Black body with beige head. Taste is coffee, caramel and subtle chocolate. Great stout.
3.8 Keg at Redchurch Brewery, Bethnal Green. A deep brown colour with a medium beige head. Aroma of roasted coffee, pine, some blackcurrant, liquorice, wood, a little chocolate and slight spicy, earthy hops. Taste of liquorice, blackcurrant, some pine, roasted coffee, wood, a little chocolate and slight spicy, earthy hops. Medium bodied and moderate carbonation. A dry, woody pine and spicy, earthy hop bitterness in the finish. A really hop forward beer. Wouldn’t say a stout though, got fruity aspects so would say India porter. Complex and very good.
4.0 Bottle. Jet black, thin but sustained creamy beige head and low condition. Big sweet liquorice, coffee beans, roasted barley, fruity berries and a hint of woody spirit notes. Soft and sweet in the mouth with some peppery spiciness, a gentle roast coffee bitterness and some fruity liquorice notes. Finish has a gentle peppery bitterness, muted coffee notes and a slight fruitiness, there's a touch of spirity esters but overall the finish is quite subdued.
3.8 Dark brown with huge thick espresso head. Smells roast and berries. Taste is more roast and vanilla. Long smoky/burnt finish. Very well balanced though.
4.0 Bottle from Alko, pouring almost black color with not much head at all. Aroma of well roasted malts, sweetness in chocolate, licorice, caramel and distinct fruitiness in it as well. Taste has some berriness in it, but balanced taste in its entirety, some bitterness but doesn't strike through much, citrusy hoppiness. Medium body, with dry roasted finish. Just a well made beer, and it even has a bit black IPA:ish feeling with the hoppiness.
3.7 Bottle. Very dark brow, small to average and fully diminishing daRKbrown head. Moderate to full, malty and sweetish aroma, light - some roasted malt, light chocolate and light - somo hoppyness. Body is medium to full, malty and lightly sweetish flavor, light roasted malt and faint chocolate, light - some hoppyness. Finish is average to long, malty and lightly sweetish, some roasted malt and lightchocolate with light - some hoppyness, faint alcohol. Really nice roasted stout - not too sweet. Head is weak.
4.0 On Draught Pours black with a nice head and good lacing on the glass. The aroma is roasty & lightly sweet with a nice bit of licorice character and a mild leafy hoppiness. Some dark chocolate and very mild molasses character come through as it opens up. The flavor is a great balance of roasty malt bitterness (almost burnt like character) and some sweeter chocolate, Cavendish, and licorice character. It's got a medium level of sweetness and a beautiful bitter backdrop. Balanced and very well constructed beer. Fantastic stuff
3.6 On tap at the source. Black with a thin tan cream subsiding. Scent is nearly scentless, light notes of dark fruit. Some coffee properties. Taste is quite dense and quite mild porter with resin and light on the coffee. This is an attempt to perfect a traditional beer style. Finish is a bit sticky. Some toffee and some unwanted sour back. Great.
3.6 Bottle, Waitrose, Oadby. Very dark brown with with a beige head. Coffee with cola and liquorice. Earthy blackberries. Gritty dark chocolate. Hints of vanilla. Nutty notes. Dry finish. Good stout.
4.2 0.33l bottle. Pitch black body with a light-brown head. Aroma and taste of chocolate, coffee, caramel, citrusy hops and grapeseed. Heavier than medium body, silky texture. Great one.
3.7 (bottle, 33cl) Black coloured hue with a firm and light-brown mid-sized foamy head. Mildly roasted malty aroma with shades of dark chocolate, liquorice and accompanied by very present herbal, sprucey and fruity hops, making me think of a genuine Black IPA. Hoppy and roasty bitter flavour with a delicate sweetness, medium to full bodied with a well-carbonated mouthfeel. Earthy and mildly roasted malty taste with notes of chocolate, caramel, liquorice, as well as a good dash of sprucey, citric and spicy hops, lingering into the slightly leathery and tart finish. Well-done. 06.XI.17

3.1 Bottle at home. It was a good, but I have to say forgettable, stout. Lots of flavour, but it really didn't set my world on fire. Just personal taste.

3.8 Black with beige head. Aroma: roast malts, dark bread, pumpernikel, molasses, liquorice. Moderately sweet and bitter. Medium to full bodied. Low carbonation. Finish of roasted bitternes, dark chocolate countered with sweetness of molasses.
3.8 Bottle from Clapton Craft. Pours black with an average sized quite short lasting beige head. Aroma of malt, medium roasting, chocolate, liquorice, hop and light citrus.
