4.1 Bottle from Great Grog. Clear golden body with a thick white head. Steady carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of grass, lemon and steel. Flavour of cereal, soft malt and grassy hops. Medium body with a slick mouthfeel. Light fizz. A crisp and delicious beer. Wish I’d bought more than one bottle.
3.4 Bottle online from Trembling Madness. Pours clear golden with a frothy white cap. Aroma: bread, grains, straw. Taste: light to moderate sweet & light bitter, grains, bread, some citric fruits, light hop bite. Light to medium body with foamy carbonation.
3.2 Sampled from the tap. Pours a clear yellow gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has slightly sweet straw and grains with a touch of bread underlying. Flavor combines bread and sweet straw with a hint of hay underlying.
3.1 Bottle at home in the beating heat with a BBQ, 17th June 22. Pours clear and straw in colour, aroma is hay and yeast, straw, taste is bready, sweet, light caramel, some bitterness towards the close. Alright with a bbq, you don’t have to think about it much
3.5 Pretty good
2.8 500ml bottle (Kaufland, Germany). Clear amber color. Fizzy, some barley, sweetish in aroma/taste. Tastes like old school soviet beer.
2.9 On tap. Pours dark gold. Grain, floral, light sulfur, little bite, citrus. Medium body. Fine.
2.6 330 ml bottle. Clear light golden, small head. Grainy, citrussy and bready, lots of corn, malt and hops extract. Malty sweetness, slightly bitter. Light bodied, watery texture, lively carbonated, dry corny sweet finish. Nothing special.
3.1 Clear yellow color with white head. Malty, grass, hay aromas. Light sweetness and bitterness. Average body.
3.5 Bottle from Bierothek, Vienna. Golden color with thick white head. Strong malty aroma, with light noble hops. Taste is malty, light hoppy, could be more fresh, but still drinkable full bodied beer.
3.1 Light malty aroma with slight sulfury and noble Pours a light golden color with small creamy head. Earthy spicy hop character with low bready malt. Light bodied with medium co2, lingering light hop flavor. Easy drinking Kolsch.
2.9 03Dec2021 Sweet grain and cereal malts, bread, dough, yeast, sweet straw. Clear gold, medium, creamy, white head. Light bitter. Bittersweet grain, light molasses, bread, lightly bitter floral notes, wet straw, med carb, med bod. Bland and sweet, unremarkable. Bottle from The House of the Trembling Madness.
2.9 Pours a clear golden with a thin white head. Aroma of sweet malted barely. Taste has a dry mouthfeel, vaguely herbal. Palate has a slight oily feel, more herbal elements. Good.
3.7 Bottle online from The Trembling Madness. Pours a clear light golden almost straw colour with a medium sized throthy white head. Aromas of grains, hay and honey. Taste has more honey with a little more grains and hay, with added doughy bread, peppery spice and a light grassy hop on a sweet finish. Medium body, average carbonation and a very smooth oily mouthfeel. I’ve not a lot of experience with Kölsch beer to compare but this is a nice fresh smooth drink. Good.
3.5 Old Untappd check-in. February 13, 2017. Possibly my first kölsch ever. Tasted in Beers of the World class at RIT.
2.7 500 ml bottle, bought in a kiosk in Bonn. To be honest not better than.the average supermarket beer, nothing.special. clear and soft.
4.2 Me encanta esta cerveza alemana tipo kolsch.
3.7 Pours a clear medium yellow with a white head. Nose is melon and light malt. Taste is malt light as it is. Taste is a balanced Kölsch with malt up front and then the hops. Slight bitterness in the after taste. Kölsch may be the best style in the world. Half Liter can BBY 1/21/22
3.8 Delicious kolsch. Crisp, acidic, hint of spice, light biscuit
3.7 Average and inoffensive
4.2 Bright clear golden color like an American light lager. Malty aroma, light bodied with smooth light hop flavor. Like a light Pilsner or light pale ale. Very well balanced with malt flavor. Highly carbonated and refreshing w dry clean finish. No bitter after taste.
3.1 Old rating from 2016 - 500ml bottle, pours light golden with a white head. Aromas & tastes of barley malt, sweet bread, grain & hops. Moderate body. Crisp refreshing finish
3.4 16.9 ounce can into glass at the Winking Lizard in Copley Ohio. Smell the sweet grain. Light yellow in color with white head. Taste the grain. Light and smooth. Light grainy aftertaste. Very easy drinking. Nice, sweet basic beer. Cheers!
2.8 Aussehen: hell golg gelb, klar, gut carbonisiert, weiße grobporige krone Aroma: säuerlicher leicht herber Hopfen Antrunk: sehr schwach herb Midtrunk: schwach säuerlich herb Nachtrunk: so gut wir nicht vorhanden Körper: sehr sehr schwach Fazit: ein Kölch eben. Wenn auch angenehmer als sonst gewöht. Für mich zu dünn und zu schwach. Aber für ein Kölsch ok.
3.0 すっきり飲みやすい
3.7 Fles 50cl thuis. Bitters, maltig, licht diacetyl, licht rood fruit, licht bloemig, hoppig. Prima balans. (18-9-2020).
3.3 Clear bright golden appearance with a lingering fluffy white head. Aroma of toasted grain, mild herbal/floral notes and light fruity esters. Similar flavor, adding mild sweetness and light bitterness. Light to medium body with a smooth creamy finish. A bit dated, perhaps.
