3.9 6/30-7/1/19 With A & little bit after piano & photography at the wedding today. Nose is honey malt with a ton of warming spice. Very fall/pumpkin spice vibe. Taste is warm spice with lots of orange. Taste almost like a beer version of orange spice tea or a Thomas Jefferson ale mixed with a pumpkin beer. Finishes with a tight, pithy bitter twinge. Good balance of sweet and bitter. Palate is well carbonated, medium body. Goes down smooth with a dry finish. Overall, an exceptionally interesting and very delicious brew! Lots of summer brightness and fall spice together. I dig it.
3.1 Bottle. Golden in color with a with a red-amber hue, and a two finger head. Fruity in taste but not anything great.
3.7 On tap at TGI Friday's in DFW. Pours a hazy, light orange color, with a small, rocky, white head. The nose is heavy wheat, clover honey, cardamom, orange peel, and black pepper. Sweet and yeasty, with a pleasant bitterness. Light to medium body, with a sharp, grainy mouthfeel. Nice.
3.6 Bottle poured a hazy gold with a lingering ring of white foam. Aromas of wheat, spice, light orange and a hint of honey. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a smooth dry finish. Flavors of wheat, spice, light orange and a hint of orange with a smooth dry lingering spiced finish.
2.9 12 oz can bought in Austin, TX. Pours a cloudy gold color with a white head and decent retention. Minor lacing. Soft mouthfeel. Light honey and even lighter citrus flavors. Boozy finish at 7.0 ABV. Citrus flavor is more apparent as it warms.
3.4 Pours a hazy yellow with a finger of fine white foam. Aroma is grassy with a bit of orange and some spice I can't quite place. Taste is citrus fruit, wheat, malt, and honey.
3.3 Pours cloudy golden with low white head. Aroma of honey, wheat, floral. Taste is sweet, fruity, honey, slightly boozy. Light and smooth body with soft carbonation.
5.0 Orange and peach tones with a sweet overlay. Great beer!
3.7 Cold bottle. Aroma is bright with honey. Snappy wheat with great spices on the back end. Adding this one to my favorites.
3.7 It pours lightly hazy yellow with a white head. The aroma has orange, pepper, rich wheat and zest. It has a medium rich body with soft carbonation. The taste shows the honey for added sweetness as well as the aroma notes and almost a spicy pepper snap. The finish has more orange and salt. Zippy and pleasant.
3.7 Draft. It poured a hazy gold with a white head and lacing. The aroma is honey with a little fruitiness. The taste is sweet.
3.8 Imteresting on its own right, if not super good...notes of a wheat lager, but with the ale fermentation characteristics
3.7 This was a surprisingly tasty brew, with subtle fruit and spice flavor, that went down smooth.
5.0 Awesome! This beer is one of the best beers ever, with its great taste, after taste, and overall quality!
4.3 Slight orange tinge. Provides a unique taste that lingers.
3.2 12 oz bottle to plastic cup at Cowboys* Stadium in Arlington, TX. Clear orange colored appearance with visible sediment and a small white head. Aroma of honey, lightly toasted malt, mild caramel/toffee, light wheat and a touch of hops. Similar flavor, adding moderate sweetness and light bitterness. Medium body with a lingering finish. Not bad overall.
3.4 Bottle. Large fizzy white head. Cloudy golden color. Aroma of orange, fruit, honey, caramel, grain, peach, light hoppy notes. Medium body. Moderated sweet flavor with a hint of bitterness. Lingering honey sweet finish. Very nice.
3.0 On tap at 54th drafthouse Pours slightly cloudy golden with a small white head, light lacing. Aroma is fruity, honey and wheat. Flavor of honey, spices and fruity Not bad
3.8 Spicy pumpkin ale like aroma. Tastes of spice and orange zest. Very heavy, think an upgraded higher ABV blue moon.
3.5 Nice beer with and i am only writing the comments to remember what kind of beer.
3.7 Pours a cloudy yellow, wispy eggshell head. Aroma of lemon, yeast, citrus. Nice carb, florals, mint, and citrus on the tongue. Refreshing with spice. Pretty good.
2.8 Always good Taste is delicious Must try on tap, when out is a great pairing for most meals.
2.9 Draught at The Lot in Dallas. Hazy yellow with moderate white head. Honey is restrained and orange is overt.
3.3 33cl bottle, thanks TBone. Poured golden color with a thin white head. Cinnamon spicy, orange zest, wheaty aroma. Flavor has cinnamon, mild peppers , wheat and rosemary. Spicy stuff.
3.0 Bottle. Slightly hazy yellow color, steady small white head. Aroma is grainy, cinnamon spicey, hints of orange zest. Medium-bodied. Sweetish malty, honeish, a bit spicey, evident orange zest. Drinkable although spicies are not making this better.
3.8 Pours a cloudy yellow with a bead that sticks around. Tastes of alot of honey with orange after notes. Smells of honey. Has a very creamy mouth feel
3.2 Recommended by a trusted friend or I doubt I would have tried this. Blood orange peel? It opens up and shows a rather unimpressive light yellow. The nose however is different, I pick up spice, maybe cinnamon and nutmeg. It gives a light foam which mostly goes away. The taste is a surprise. Orange, yes I get that. There is also a caramel sweetness but not too much. Very slight bitterness on the end. This is a good one or two bottle drink before going on to something else. But not bad at all. Strong abv for a wheatie.
3.2 Tap at Baker Street. Hazy golden with a small whitish head. Aroma of orange and wheat and a touch of honey. Tastes juicy and fruity; very mildly sweet. Medium body.
3.0 Pored a dark golden color with a whitw head. Aroma is of honey, orange and light booze Flavor similar, a bit of flavorimg to hold.uo some booze. Mev.
3.5 creamy off-white, spare but lasting head slightly sweet, but over-all very balanced as far as bitterness go spices present but indistinct to my taste
