3.9 0.5l bottle from Kaufland Komarno. White head, orange body, somewhat cloudy. Moderate fruity aroma, peach or white grape. Semidry taste with some fruits and a strong bitterness. Strong and persistent dry bitter aftertaste. Moderate carbonation, silky palate. Good Engish IPA, maybe a bit too dry.
3.7 Bottle 500ml. I actually like this... In all the American IPA flooding it’s nice to have something a bit more calm and settled. Clear golden, white head, yeast residue in the bottle. Floral and herbal notes and a light malt sweetness
3.8 zapach wyraźny, bardzo silne żywice, zioła, dużo zieleni, lekkie nuty plasteliny, do tego kwiaty, pyłki z kwiatów, odrobina siana i lekkie nuty cytrusów w tle. kolor głębokiego złota, lekko opalizujący, piana biała, średnio obfita, trwała. w smaku pełne, słodowe, lekki karmel, odrobina przypieczonego chleba, kwiaty, żywice, sosna, tytoń, drewno, odrobina białych owoców. goryczka umiarkowana, ziołowa, żywiczna i przyprawowa z lekkimi nutami karmelowymi. nasycenie umiarkowane.
3.7 Aroma: flowers and herbs, malty. Appearance: golden color and white head. Taste: medium floral bitterness, herbal, caramel, malty, esters. Palate: medium body and medium carbonation. Overall: perfect ESB, very floral and herbal. I would never say that this is an IPA.
0.5 Cherry tones in aroma, surprisingly a little bit malty, a bit boozy and bitter, medium carbonation.
3.5 0.5 bottle C: light copper N: malt P: canteloupe, honeydew melon, blue grapes, mild wheaty character, very creamy and light.
3.2 500ml bottle. 5.5%. Gluten Free. Golden colour, white foam head leaving lacing and malty grainy hoppy aroma. Taste is malt caramel, fruity yeasty with some floral citric hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry earthy bitter finish. Quite OK.
2.9 Bottle from Lidl I believe. ...and actually has doubts about this being IPA. In aroma I catch more alcohol that I would like to especially considering voltage. Tastes bitter and hoppy enough but again I'm lacking citruses and all the lovely part I love in IPAs. Not impressed
3.9 From Apr 2008 This pours from 500ml bottle a clear and bright yellow gold with a 1 finger head of foam. It turns cloudy with the second pour. Hey, it's bottle conditioned. Btw, very good head retention. The smell has a lot of sweet malt on the nose along with some fruit. Very nice. Oh, and there's a touch of citrus peeking its way through. The taste is yummy! English IPA? You bet and the difference from most American IPAs is in your face right off the bat! Sweet malt dominates the initial taste but I also find it very fruity and then there's some bready notes and a good lemony hop kick to balance things out. I really like how the hops and malt interact with each other here...overall light sweetness and light bitterness. Makes for a perfect balance and I could drink a lot of this as the abv makes it very sessionable. The mouthfeel is kind of light but works, the carbonation is also light, and it finishes with a lemon hop flavour that is fairly long lasting. Very tasty and very refreshing, and I'd guess, at least fairly fresh. I'm guessing because I can't make heads or tails out of the code on the bottle: F9 039. I'll buy this again, no problem! Cost: US$4.99
3.3 Bottle, BB 25.02.2018 (from Stockmann). Pours dark golden with whiteish head. Aroma is sweet, fruity, citrus, medicinal. Flavor is sweet and bitter, black tea, fruits, malt, caramel, carrots. Finish is black tea bitter. Carbonation is high. Overall: solid.
3.4 Half pint @ O’Neill’s, Uppsala. Overall pleasant ale, not too hoppy despite its name. In my opinion, quaint appearance of "leverpastej", or "sylta" in aroma.
3.4 Bottle. Pale Gold in colour. Fruity; citrus-fruit, oranges. Hoppy; floral and grassy spicy hops. Malty; toasty malts, caramel. Mildly bitter hoppy fruity throughout. Bitter dry hoppy finish. Flavoursome. Very drinkable. (2009-07)
3.1 500ml bottle (as "Gluten Fee Ridgeway IPA"). Clear amber color. Medium size, bubbly beige head, stays. Dirty, herbal, grainy, some sweetness in aroma. Sweet, grainy, caramel, some herbal hops in taste. Sweet caramel and hoppy bitterness in aftertaste. Medium carbonation. Drinkable brew.
3.8 Bottle. Firm white head, flowery aroma. Very smooth and greasy IPA, slightly citrus taste, refreshing.
3.5 500ml bottle. Clear golden beer, medium white head, quickly diminishing, leaves a thin layer on top of the beer. Nose is pale malt, hops with some floral notes thrown in, some honeyish notes. Flavor is malts, some mild sweetness that transforms into a light dryness in the finish, which also has some herbal bitterness and light fruit notes. Very drinkable, simplistic, but works well enough.
Medium karbonering.
3.4 bottled. Clear golden, medium bubbly white head. Aroma of tangerines and litchi. Taste of citrus, mostly grapefruit, malt and bit of eathiness. Higher and lasting bitterness. Medium body. Not bad
3.0 Bottle. Clear golden colour with white stable head. Aroma hops, citrus fruits, lemon, grassy. Taste is hops, not very fresh, grassy, some malty sweetness. Light body. Good carbonation. Moderate beitterness. Also in aftertaste. Nothing special.
3.8 Shared bottle. Pours is golden clear with thick white head. Aroma of caramel, biscuits, grass, light orange, floral. Light bitter, light sweet, solid malty base, biscuity mouthfeel. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation, light long bitter finish. Good!
Ben bilanciata.
2.9 Bottle: Poured a golden orange with a white head. The aroma is floral, citrus, and a bit medicinal that lessens as it approaches cellar temperature. The medium body is slightly on the thick side and it has a minimal amount of carbonation. The finish was dry and only slightly bitter.
3.1 Sampled at tasting. Pours golden with white head. Aroma with some fruit and flower notes, some cereal and caramel. Taste is not so bitter and quite a well sized malt body.
3.7 500ml bottle. Pours a faintly hazy deep straw, with a white head. Hoppy, spicy, herbal aroma, malt, light caramel, citrus peel, grass, spruce. Dry, medium body and bitterness, balanced CO2. Hoppy, malty, grassy taste, caramel, spruce, herbs, orange peel, faint earthy notes, bergamot, floral notes in the finish. Dry and balanced, very English in style. Nice. (2015-02-08)
3.1 Alun jälkeen ei ollutkaan niin hyvä. Humala on hiukan lattea. Mukana mukava salmiakin maku.
3.4 Pors a clear golden. Aroma is suddle, of noble hops. Taste has a nice level of hops, not overwhelming. A nice balance.
3.1 Gold golden near clear beer, lots of bubbles, tall fluffy head. Aroma; fruity hops, berries, juicy malts, caramels, oranges, butter notes. Taste; fruity hops, mild resin, berries, slightly roasted caramels, mandarin, lemon. Clean, fresh, much carbonation. Citric resin fades out during finish.
