2.9Black color with a light brown head. Medium sweet taste of dark roasted malt, notes of dark chocolate, hints of mocha. Light bitterness. Creamy, smooth. Medium body, soft carbonation.
3.3Bottle. Black-brown color with coffee foam. Aroma: caramel, chocolate, pie, a little dried fruit and coffee. Taste: sweetish, caramel, dried fruits, chocolate, pies, a little wine, not bad.
3.6Near black with a tan foam and aromas of banana and a little coffee. Then roasty and creamy, with a dry-burnt edge. A touch of wine and peach, dark fruits and a bready note. Like a Dunkelweizen crossed with Porter.
3.5Dark brown with yeast deposits and a thin beige head.
Smell of coffee and cocoa. Creamy coffee taste.
Not very complex, but highly drinkable.
3.1Bottle from Beerwulf. Aroma is dark malt with caramel, soft roast and chocolate, notes of cold coffee and a touch of tobacco. Flavour is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Bit like a light Baltic Porter with that sweet caramel and tobacco.
3.4Nice. Dark. Strong. Like a miniature version of the singularity.
3.4500ml bottle in 2016. Near black with a beige head. Aroma of lightly roasted malt, dried fruit, dates and treacle. Body medium. A little sweet, but not overly so. A little roasty bitterness offsets.
3.4Lübeck 16/4 2019. 33 cl bottle from Rewe, Wo-Anders, Lübeck. Very black and text-heavy label where they barely manga to squeeze an old disgruntled half moon in.
Pours opaque dark brown with a light beige head. Settles as patchy, thin layer of foam clinging to the side of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense, rich, sweetish but with a bitter coffee twist. Caramel, toffee, brown sugar. Black coffee, dark chocolate.
Soft carbonation. Slightly thick, soft, lightly tingly texture.
Flavor has a strong sweetness followed by a moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter-sweet but with an overweight to the sweet side. Lingers for a while.
Pretty nice porter with a solid malt-base and a bit on the sweet side.
4.0Etwas wie Malzbier. Sehr mild. Starker Geschmack.
4.0Solid porter, almost black, syrupy and rich. Medium body, easy to drink. Sweet alcohol strings and salty finish.
3.0Dark beer, porter with a deep flavor. roasted aroma, coffee, caramel
Birra scura, portiere con un sapore profondo. aroma tostato, caffè, caramello,
3.6Very solid porter, rich and slight fruity berriness to it. The alc shines through a bit while still having a full body. Denns Dresden (3.6 Nov 2018)
Tried again, upgraded to 3.7 (3.7 may 2018)
Again from Beerwulf adventkal. Good clean dryish just well made but nothing standing out porter
Again tried from craftbiershop. Lowered to 3.6
3.7A dark, decently sustained head and a full, malty nose with quite a strong hint of madeira. Powerful and slightly syrupy on the tongue, too. For the style, you get slightly over-average bitterness and fairly subdued sweetness (not too much liquorice). Great balance, despite relatively high ABV - and quite reasonably priced in Germany. The finish marrs the experience very slightly for me: There's espresso (lovely), but just a hint too much acid.
3.3Bottled 0,33L. Dark brow color, deep aspect, light sediments, medium creamy nut head of discreet duration. Roasty and tostated aroma, notes of braced cereals, bitter cacao, soft roasty malt. Medium smooth taste, pleasant alcoholic palate, sweet and roasty malt, moisted ashed cortex, tobacco, braced cereals.
3.5Bottle, 6.9%. Bready aroma, sourish roastedness. Black colour. Small stable light brown head. The flavour is malty, even sweet, with a mild sweet liquorice note. Bready finish, low bitterness. Hint of salt in the finish.
3.5Bottle. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy but stable tan head. Clear aroma of malt and chocolate and hints of smoke. Bitter, roasty flavour with notes of smoke and touches of yeast and lactose. Roasty and coffeelike aftertaste with lactic and estery touches. Creamy mouthfeel. A nice one, if a little unbalaced.
3.4Dark, malty, coffee. Very smooth considering the abv.
3.9Bottled from local German supermarket. Opaque black, thick lasting beige head, beautiful. Roasted malts, caramel, licorice, coffee. Sweet, very sweet, Grimbergen Double sweet, but that happens to be my guilty pleasure. I like this one.
3.34th Aug 2018, 33cl bottle in the BRLO Biergarten Berlin. Black bodied, tanned crust. Sweet from the start to finish, malty molasses ruling the whole thing with a caramel esters and flavours to the fore. My sweet tooth really liked it, but others my well think it too sweet. Some light hop action prevents the malts from taking over completely, but only just.
3.233cl bottle from Ekoplaza.
Thin beige head. Clear almost black pour. Some coffee. A little too sweet for a porter
3.5Guter Geruch aber leider etwas zu dünn
3.8Dunkelbraunes Bier, angenehm und ausgewogen in Würze und Süße.
3.0Bottled 330ml. -from Getränke Oase Munich. Daark brown coloured, small to medium sized beige head, caramel in the nose. Roasted malt, caramel, dried fruits and light chocolate with rather dry sweet finish. Nothing special here.
3.5Bottle. Color. Black, light brown head. Taste: Medium sweet, dark roasted malt, notes of dark chocolate, hints of mocha. light hints of liquorice. Light bitterness. Creamy, smooth. Medium body, soft carbonation. Pretty flat, lacking body and complexity.
2.9śliwka i mleczna czekolada w aromacie, w smaku czekolada, kawa,
praktycznie zero wysycenia, jak bym pił stouta a nie portera,
całkiem dobre mimo wszystko
