2.7 Bottle. Dark brown color, creamy foam. Aroma: caramel, sweet, malt, wheat, ethers, jam. Taste: sweet, caramel, wine, a little dried fruit and jam, sweet, wheat, a little banana.
3.1 # 1278; 1/2019. Plné, medové, karamelové pivo s fůrou sušeného ovoce a lehce kovovou příchutí. Zajímavá zvláštnost.
3.3 Pours hazy mahogany with one finger, light tan head. Aroma is caramel, bread and light roast. Taste is light caramel and light fig, moving to biscuit and roast. Finish is biscuit and roast.
3.5 Biologica, molto gradevole, nessun sapore particolare, ma mi piace
2.7 Bottle 0.5L. Slightly hazy amber body with a large, creamy, tan head, mostly diminishing but with some lacing; high density of both tiny and large particles. Moderate malty (cereal) and light yeasty (sweat) aroma. Light-to-moderate sweet flavour with a light acidic note; short acidic finish. Light-to-medium body with watery-to-oily texture; average carbonation.
3.4 Aroma: Strong caramel, and nutty smells, with hints of grains, a slight bite to the nose Appearance: poured a hazy, dark amber brown color, with biege head. Taste: Malty, grainy, with a bite of spelt, hints of nut and caramel. Sweet, but has a hint of sourness. Mouthfeel: creamy, nicely carbonated, goes down easily, with sweet grains and nut on the palate and a lingering sweet dryness Overall a very enjoyable beer and drinkable. Bottle is on the expensive side though costing 1.60 Euros plus deposit at Edeka.
3.6 amber with brown head. very smooth and full of good flavour, nutty, bready. very good but too expensive to buy agian.
3.7 Hazy brown colour, creamy beige foam. Nose of bread, biscuits, sweet malt, light roastiness. Taste is bready, some caramel sweetness, breadcrusts. Well balaned. Not bad!
3.1 Not all that clean on the palate. Very odd biscuit-like taste that isn’t super pleasing. Weak body. Denn’s Dresden
2.3 Light brown and cloudy, with quite a strong, malty aroma: hints of vanilla, biscuit, toffee and bread. The taste is appropriate but surprisingly mild: restrained bitterness and a somewhat sour 'top'. The finish is also fairly sour, additionally featuring a hint of something I don't like... an almost 'rubbery' scent. Weak overall (except for ABV).
2.8 Hazy, chestnut brown, medium- off white head. Aroma is of grains, wheat, bit toasty, light caramel, some cloves and yeast. Taste si medium- sweet malt, wheat, cereals, toast, bread, light bitterness, some clovey yeast, bit eggy sulphur. Light+ bodied, soft carbonation, watery. Too watery.
3.4 Bottle: sweet caramel, bread aroma. Pours cloudy brown. Tan head that doesn’t last too long. Tasty beer but no longevity to the flavour.
3.1 Flip-top 500ml bottle; BB 7th May 19. Drank in my Bamberg holiday apartment on 7th Sep 18. Almost clear reddy brown pour, beige head. Malts to the fore in both the aroma and semi-sweet taste, some Rye in there surely. Liked it, the grain content certainly kept the hops at bay.
3.0 Dark Amber unfiltered, big long lasting head. The fancy malt is already noticeable in the nose. Slightly sweet caramel taste, minimal hops, the rye leads me to taste coriander but I think it's just imagination. Not too exciting, but tasty with something out of the ordinary from the malts.
3.2 Light brown color, small to middle head. Good sweetness in the taste, I think rye is sensible.
3.8 Fles 50cl thuis. Zoetig, würzig, malten, caramellig, hazelnoot, weizentonen. Ruikt wat bedompt. (4-2017).
3.2 Appearance: Dark brown, clear. Small, fizzy head. Aroma: Malt, caramel sweetness. Taste: Medium malt, bready, caramel sweetness, almost sticky. Lacks something. Bought: Wittich, 500 ml, CHF 3.00 Info: 30/5-2018, BB: 2/8-2018
2.8 Nice bottle with a short story about this beer. Cloudy very dark amber beer with very heavy fine creamy light brown head, smell is light sour and cereal, taste is light cereal, not sweet and also not bitter, watery, light roasted, light bread, malts are dominated, average carbonation, light body, thin texture, (I have 0.5l bottle with best-before 26.11.2018)
3.1 AR: malt, banana, bubblegum, caramel, bread AP: murky amber TA: bread, nutty, earthy
3.3 A dark red/dark copper colour. Huge slightly off-white head. Good retention and good enough lacing. Reasonably intense aroma shows a mix of biscuity and caramel malts, with slight fruitiness and the slightest touch of spiciness. Taste is quite sweet but not over the top, with maybe some light sourness. Dark bread, caramel, slight fruitiness, touch of earthy bitterness in the finish. Maybe the slightest hint of spiciness. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation, overall easy and quite soft on the mouth. Overall a rather simple but enjoyable beer.
3.3 Bruin bier met veel schuim wat lang blijft staan. Smaak is licht zoet en ietwat kruidig met sporen van karamel en houttonen.
3.8 Bottle at Riedenburger Biergarten, Riedenburg, 3.10.17. Cloudy brown with a white head. Biscuit, a little bit of caramel, lightly dry aroma. Rich taste, chestnuts, cake sweetness but with a hint of earthy hoppiness. Full body, very fizzy, sweet, English cake finish.
3.7 Grainy malt aroma. Deep brown body with a hint of gold. Starts with a light tan fine bubbled head but settle to a film covering. Smooth tasting with mild malt grain taste with a touch sweetness. Finishes with a dry sweetness.
3.2 500 ml bottle. Cloudy dark amber colour, decent beige head. Bread, cereal, malt, some grapes, banana, hazelnut and caramel. Yeasty, malty, slightly sour. Creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonated, medium bodied. Grainy finish. Overall reminds me of a crossover of a Dunkelweizen and a Dampfbier. Liquid bread.
3.2 Pours light mahogany into a Sam glass. Pancake head with good retention recedes leaving scant sheets. Caramel and biscuit aromas. Soft with caramel and dry earthy leaves front to back.
1.7 Bottle. Pours hazy amber with a white head. Aroma of buttersotch, diacytel, loads caramel, nutty, phenolic smoke, dried fruits. Taste is heavy buttersotch, nutty, dried fruits, caramel. Hmm
3.4 Kornthal-munchingen. Shared from bottle courtesy of Michael, vielen dank. Dark brown with cream head. Grains. Rye bread, and light caramel, raisins, dates, chestnuts. Medium sweet and light bitter. Medium body and average carbonation. Almost creamy, yet a bit grainy texture.
3.2 Bottle. Amber body with tan head. Aroma is slightly roasted malts grains and biscuits. Taste is not very intense mostlyrics biscuits. Aftertaste is sweet with very low bitterness.
