4.1 Murky amber colour, creamy foam. Nose of banana, ripe stone fruit, bread. Taste is sweet banana, fruity.
3.5 very hazy brownish orange colour, medium sized creamy ecru head; aroma of drien apricot, banana and bread crust notes; taste has the same notes with some alcoholic spiciness; correct one
3.2 Hazy orange-brown with an off-white head. Malty aroma, banana. Taste is banana, malt and grain and a little booze.
3.8 Schöne Bananennase, im Trunk herrlich cremig, wärmend, Banane, sehr hohe Drinkability, lecker. Retest 12.01.2023, leicht verbessert.
3.7 Tight foamy off white head stayed on a cloudy dark amber coloured still body. Banana, clove & demerara aroma. Medium to full bodied, tingly with a smooth cloying back. Banana, clove, malt, brown sugar, jam & sweet berry tastes with a tangy citrus finish. Nice!
3.6 Hazy dark golden color with off-white head. Aroma has caramel, wheat, grass and earthy notes. Taste is malty sweet with long sweet and quite bitter aftertaste. Flavors of wheat, caramel, ripe fruits, spices and some alcohol warmth. Oily mouthfeel.
3.7 On tap at Arts and Crafts Amsterdam Ave. Pours orange brown. Banana, caramel, spice, fruity. Decent body. Decent.
3.9 Rich, malty, spicy, boozy, high-quality, a star of the style and of Silpo's import stable (16.9 oz bottle,Kyiv)
4.3 Thuis uit een flesje. Wazig oranje, roomwit schuim. Banaan, fruitig. Zachte nasmaak, maar lang. Het toch redelijke hoge percentage overheerst niet. Heerlijk bier.
3.0 Nice in all features and specially the creamy features that the Dunkles Weizen brings to it.
3.8 Finally getting to enjoy an authentic weizenbock! Given that I love doppelbocks but generally pass on wheat beers, I was curious to see how this unique bridge style would strike my palate. Well having tried two bottles of this, I can say that I indeed thoroughly enjoyed this and found this to be a well-executed and refined beer! Poured nicely with plentiful white foam over a hazy reddish-orange body. Aroma of red fruit and banana yeast. Taste brings out more sweet sugary malt and caramel-toffee in addition to the fruit and banana. Very smooth and soft carbonation, only the faintest hint of booze. Medium-bodied with a clean-finishing palate. A touch of yeasty funk without being overdone. Paired exceedingly well with some strawberry & goat cheese bruschetta - the fruit and funk are surprisingly complementary in both cases!
3.5 Medium quality for the style, a bit of a sharp alcohol bite. Full bodied, chewy. Similar to franzsiskainer royal. online craftbier shop.com (3.5 may 2020) Again in craftbiershop advent. Same opinion
3.8 Bottle from Liebick Getränkemarkt, nr Gemering, consumed at home Attenkirchen, Friday 14th February 2020 listening to Iggy Confidential on 6Music. Hazy amber with a white head, lots of banana on the nose. Banana toffee in the mouth, fruity and strong as the description suggests. A really pleasant beer, quite pokey.
3.8 Will enter later
Geschmacklich (leicht vergoren) fruchtig, malzig, etwas Sekt, etwas Balsamico. Kein spektakulärer Bock, aber durchaus gut.
4.1 Creamy, flowers,fresh
3.5 From the 330 ml. bottle. No bottling or best by date. It pours a medium amber tone with golden highlights and a humongous, lingering off-white head. Can you say malts? That's the major sensation on the nose. Caramel and butterscotch malts. A slight berry character too. A vague floral hop note. The mouthfeel is medium and smooth. Malt sweetness in the taste to the extreme but there is also a kind of olive oil flavoring hovering in the background. It feels and warms the mouth and senses
3.1 Appearance: Beautiful muddy amber color. Foam settles quickly. Very high quality. Fragrance: Bright banana, a little caramel and some pastries. Taste. Soft body, white bread and fruity notes in taste, hop bitterness in the aftertaste. Bottom line: Very high-quality Wheat dopelbok, but quite restrained in taste. No Wow Effect
3.8 Spina da 0,40. Schiuma scarsa e volatile. Colore legno.
Spitzenbier.
3.8 50cl bottle thanks to @rauchbierlover. Pours cloudy amber with white head. Aroma has caramel and banana. Taste is very smooth with pleasant sweet and banana notes rounded of by warming alcohol. Very nice and perfectly balanced.
3.7 Slightly cloudy golden beer. A Weizen but then stronger with pear and apricot. And alcohol! Slightly tart but a nice beer for sipping. Cheers!
4.0 Aroma of sweet bread, toffee, dried pear and apricot and golden raisins. Banana and phenols are somewhat subdued for style. Taste is sweet and malty. Alcohol is very smooth for 8%. Slight wheat tartness. Texture and carbonation are pleasantly smooth. Distinctive German weiss character, but has more to it than that.
3.6 Deep medium Amber creamy thick head. Aromas butterscotch, toffee, caramel, grass slight biscuit. Flavors caramel, toffee, slight bread, slight grass, slight leaves, slight faint banana/ nail polish ester buy very faint. Medium sweet and flavorful. I like this dobble Bock.
3.6 Hazy, brown colored, medium off white frothy head. Aroma is of wheat, light caramel, some ripe fruity notes, bready yeasty, less banana and more cloves. Taste is medium sweet malt and wheat, light caramel, bit apple, again bit banana and some more cloves notes, bit yeasty, bready feel, light bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, oily.
3.4 Botella @Naïv, Frankfurt am Main 15/12/2018 Color amarillo opaco corona de espuma blanca, aromas platano, levadura, sabor malta notas a trigo cuerpo sedoso.
3.9 33cl foil-wrapped bottle. This style is just one of my favorites. Thsi oen pours a dark brown, cloudy, nice banana meets spice meets raisiny sweet malt, boozy but in a charming way, I love this style.
3.5 Bottle. Pours clear dark copper, off-white head. Aroma of fruits, slight wheat malt, and slight esters in the kind of banana and clove. Taste is sweet, with low bitterness. Flavors of fruits, smooth wheat, banana, slight clove. Medium to full body, slick texture, average carbonation. A really solid weizen doppelbock.
