Das nur leicht dunkle Kellerbier von Georg Rittmayer besticht in erster Linie durch seine Eleganz und die dezent eingesetzten Aromen von dunklem Malz.
Fein verwobene Anklänge von Röstmalzsüße und der beherzt eingesetzte Hopfen lassen ein sehr ausgewogenes Geschmacksbild entstehen.
Bereits in der Nase verdeutlicht sich die Harmonie zwischen angenehm malzig-fruchtiger Süße, die durch feine Bittere des Aromahopfensangenehm balanciert wirkt. Am Gaumen setzt sich die Ausgewogenheit fort.
Der Geschmack wird in vor allem durch die klare und präzise zum Vorschein tretende Malzigkeit sowie fein-aromatische Hopfenbittere geprägt. Deutlich spiegelt das Kellerbier seine traditionelle Bestimmung eines kräftigeren, dunkleren Bieres wider, ohne einzelne Geschmackskomponenten zu dominant in den Vordergrund zu stellen:

3.6 Bottle [from Euro Swap 2018-3 thanks to Rauchbierlover] @ home. Clear dark golden to light amber color, full sized creamy off-white head. Aroma is malts, caramalts. Taste malts, caramalts, lightly sweet malty notes, slightly a nutty hint in the background and maybe some notes of caramelised sugars. Fresh, soft, pleasant. Quite nice.
3.7 This beer has lots of flavour for a kellerbier, but it comes through real easy drinking and is great for the style. D&S dresden
3.0 At Internationales Berliner Bierfestival 2018. Dark golden with a white head. Fairly mild with bread, caramel and some hay. The body was on the light side.

3.3 Das Kellerbier der Brauerei Rittmayer aus Hallerndorf in Oberfranken. Etikett ist normal gut. Bernsteinfarben im Glas mit ein Finger breiter Schaumkrone. Röstmalznoten im Antrunk, fein würziger Körper mit nur leichter Rezenz. Karamellnoten werden zum Schluss von einer weichen Hopfenbittere abgelöst. Röstmalzbetontes Keller! Süffig und bekömmlich. Im Steinkrug, auf'm Bierkeller ein Traum!

2.1 (Flasche) Es hat eine dunkelgelbe Farbe, ist klar filtriert mit einer weißen Schaumkrone. Das Aroma ist sehr getreidig, leicht süßlich und etwas oxidiert. Der Geschmack ist getreidig, oxidiert, leicht bitter, etwas ölig auf der Zunge und im Abgang harzig.

3.0 [2015 Backlog] Bottle shared at Pauls for the FF tasting. Pours a clear golden body with thin white lacing. Mouthfeel is light and muted overall with tons of malt character, lots of bread, soft spice and light caramel.
3.5 Bottle shared with Rockley. Deep brassy golden with a big soapy white head that leaves sheets of clingy lace. Lightly toasty grains, clean, just a hint of bitterness. Quite nice.

2.7 On tap @So Good (Rome). Ambrata carica, limpida, schiuma media non molto persistente. Al naso sentori di metallo, sangue, malto (caramello). In bocca è dolce, squilibrata, piatta, monotona. Corpo medio, carbonazione medio-leggera. Pessima.

Taste is a grassy and spicy hop bitterness with a malty sweetness. Light bodied with moderate carbonation. Overall, a decent brew that meets the style requirements.

Clear pale to medium amber, good frothy off-white head, diminishing slowly, good lacing; aroma pale malts, grain, bit dusty, caramel, light nutty touch; taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, light toffee, spicy notes; mild malty sweetbitter finish, light spicy notes; medium body, watery to oily texture, soft carbonation; fresh and pleasant, not so much a kellerbier, would call it a landbier.

2.8 Where and how: Bottle 500 ml Aroma: straight malty character, slight nutty notes, touch of caramel. Rather average. Appearance : Top: medium lighter top, white. Base: clear, amber. Palate : lighter in body, with softer than average carbonation. Fell of blandness. Taste: as in aroma, simple , straight malty vibe. Feel or ordinary creation.
