3.2Bottled. Red and black body, hah. Small brown head. The aroma has liquorice. The taste is full and has liquorice and molasses.
3.8Ar: Sticky toffee; dark caramel and dried pineapples. Ap: Deep reddish brown with highlights along the glass sides; small tan head with moderate retention, settling into a solid, tight cap of foam. T: Toast and sticky caramel; medium sweetness; black licorice, dried pineapple, red apple skins; bitterness is medium-low; moss; cocoa, coffee, and sweet cherries; finish is a bit of ash, toffee, and more caramel. M: Medium body with medium carbonation; very smooth and rich; finish is medium. O: A decidedly English porter; lots of dark caramel; rich and satisfying.
3.50,33l bottle @ Vihreä Haltiatar. Pours very dark brown with a low head. Aroma is dry roasted malts. Flavor is dry roasted malts with some fruity notes and some hops. Good.
3.2This porter poured a deep amber colour with a creamy, tan coloured head. Minimal lacing. Scents include sweet malt, caramel and a little black cherry. First swig was smooth and sweet with light roasted flavour and tastes of caramel, molasses and a little cherry. Finish is sweet with subtle hop bitterness lingering.
3.2Birra scura con riflessi rossi, schiuma avorio, abbondante fine e persistente.
3.2Pours a dark clear ruddy brown with creamy beige head. Taste is densely fruity with a bit of mineral and malty toffee. Some herbal and rooty character. Aroma is more brisk and dry with some mellow fruit. Definitely safely commercial yet drinkable, I'd say slightly workmanlike and simple / predictable in style (like Makden's last album?)
3.4Limited edition (couldn’t resist) although not impressed by this brewer so far, interesting attempt, aroma and reddish porter, I believe it is the taste of black licorice that is a bit off for me.

3.5Quite good and descent in porter area. Nice British styled bottle conditioned brew. Overrated perhaps for the merchandise.

Craft TCR Bottleshare. Thanks to Leighton. Clear amber - brown beer, small pale tan head. Aged tasting thin malts, nowt serious like. Little caramel and tangy fruits. Light finish. Respectable.
3.316.9 oz bottle 11/1/18 (Binny's Montgomery)-38° in English Pint. Pours a reddish black with a small tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, and toffee. Taste of the same with some chocolate and coffee along with a bitterness on the back end. This medium bodied brew is a bit light for a porter but still tasty.
3.516.9 ounce bottle at Winking Lizard Copley, Ohio. Smell the sweetness and the malt. Small off-white head. Taste the malt and is light bodied. Pretty smooth other than light alcohol after taste. Quite interesting beer to enjoy. Cheers!
3.2Completely dark with some sediments, creamy tan head with medium retention, light toasted aroma, oily body, toasted coffee and some cacao flavour
3.1Pours a black colour with a thin head. Taste is of roasted malts, liqourice and treacle toffee. Quite a high abv not one for a session
3.0330ml bottle. Clear, mahogany colour with ruby glimmer and small, frothy, diminishing, minimally lacing, beige head. Fruity, yeasty doughy, and minimally roasty dark malty aroma, hints of cherry and chocolate. Taste is sweet-ish and roasty dark malty, yeasty doughy and fruity, hints of dark chocolate, cherry, minimally metallic finish.
3.1Tan head with a dark reddish-brown color. Aroma is crystal malt and slight crystal malt. Taste is crystal and chocolate malts, but not heavy.
3.5Bottle from Morrisons, December 2016. Deep cherry red capped with beige. Soft hum of doppelbock cooked muscovado, fruit loaf, cocktail cherry and liquorice aroma. Silken liquorice-accented beast with Allsorts, dried fruit and cherry notes with a subtle dash of banana or pear drop booze. Drinks well below its ABV. Against expectations, good brew.
3.3Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear, nutty brown with a small, rough, off-white head. Subtle licorice aroma, British hops. Medium body, solid malt base, moderate roast and again licorice. Mellow and easygoing. 120118
3.2Deep Amber-ruddy pour. The aroma is lightly nutty with a bit of toast and light molasses. Fairly straightforward. There's not a lot of complexity on the malt side. A bit of toffee as it starts to warm and some light treacle notes. Moderate bitterness and a bit of lingering roast. Odd brew really.
(2349-071017)
3.40,33 l bottle.
Apperance: A blackish body with red hints, just as you expect from the name. On top sits a short tanned head. Head leaves a few spots of lacing.
Aroma: dark chocolate, and sweet red red fruit in te back, hint of caramel.
Taste : moderate sweet, with a decent dark bittereness, red fruit and cholcolade with a hint of caramel and some nuttiness, some cider tones. Finish is chocolate a hint of char and yeast ,with a low bitterness.
Thin to medium body, below average carbonation (nicely in line with the body) average non offensive porter like you would expect.
2.6Bière à la cassonade, sans complexité. C'est prèsque pénible à boire. Sans être désastreux, c'est tout de même définitivement la dernière bouteille que j'achète.
4.0Sweet caramel malty aroma. Black body with a reddish tinge. Roasted malt with a hint of licorice taste.
3.0Roasty aroma, sweet chocolate, alcohol and syrup. Clear dark brown color with minimal sized off white to tan head. Pretty sweet taste, chocolate. Thin to medium body, flat, creamy. //bottle
