3.6 250ml bottle brewed in Belgium at 5.2%. Muddy-ruby with a neat, short-duration fizzling head. Tart apple aroma with tannic fruit skin and some lactic character with a brown bready malt beneath. Moderate carbonation; modest, somewhat silky body. Crisp apples, faint tannins, tart red berry tones, and a very refreshing finish. Hints of vanilla in the aftertaste. Malt is light but robust and 'brown' enough, and the sourness is present but reserved. Better than expected; fairly simple, but well-executed, and with enough complexity for the connoisseur.
4.2 Rodenbach classic
3.2 Pour from a 500ml can. Clear reddish brown brew with small head. Mild aroma of tart berries with citrus. Taste is tart fruit, raspberry, clean sour / tart finish. Light palate, goes well with the light and lively taste.
4.1 Pint sized can from Kasunick's in Pittsburgh. Nice and bright and very creamy. Bitterness really comes through but not overdone in any way.
3.6 Tight beige head on a reddish brown body. Sweet, malt & jam aroma. Medium bodied, smooth & sharp on the thinner back. Berries, malt, caramel & herbal tastes with a tangy acidic finish. Really refreshing in the extreme evening heat.
4.0 10.06.2022: Barwa brunatna, średnio przejrzyste. Piana niska, głównie pierścień wokół szkła. Intensywnie winny aromat, nuty suszonych owoców, chlebowe, słodowe. W smaku półsłodkie czerwone wino, z kontrastującym, kwaskowym akcentem. Suszone owoce, słody. Dość niskie nasycenie.
2.8 Fris zuur
3.5 500ml can as “Rodenbach Classic”. Pours dark reddish brown with a medium-sized light brown head. Aroma is tannins, brown sugar, barnyard. Taste is dry, cherry, dried fruit, vinegar note. Light bitter finish. Light bodied.
3.5 Bottle from Beyond Beer, drunk while fighting with the Lufthansa booking system. Medium red brown with a small head. Nice but not too complex sour nose, stone fruits/cherry hints. Flavor is sparkling fruit and smoothness, not too acidic on the finish, but short lived/thin aftertaste with hints of malt. Light body.
3.5 25cl bottle from hopt.it, France. Pours relevant brown, like whiskey, with limited brown foam. Aroma is fruity, of cherries, grapes, and a little malty. Body and carbonation are average. Taste is moderately sweet and sour. Final is fairly dry.
3.7 3/28/2020 - 500 ml can as Rodenbach Classic from Holiday Market. Pours a rusty, clear copper with a finger of off-white foam that dissipates. Oak and cherry stone aromas with some light oxidation and faint tea leaf aromas as it warms. Very light and drinkable on the palate with a slightly dry, rooibos tea notes. Cherry skin, cherry stone and more oak on the finish.
3.4 Apparently I didn't rate this one. 1989 vintage. Mahogany almost clear dark brown, foamy beige head that's stable (!). Nose is almost as a fresh one: sweet cherry fruity, porto, strawberry lemonade. Taste has suffered quite a bit, no acidity, but luckily just a faint hint of cardboard. Medium body, absent carbonation
4.0 Fermenterat, sött
3.7 can. Poured hazy reddish-brown with a skim beige head. Tart fruity aroma. Medium bodied, tight carbonation, refreshing mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet and tart, dark fruity notes of cherry, blackberry with sour apple, slightly acidic. The best sour beer I've ever had...FYI I don't like sour beer.
3.4 Brouwerij Rodenbach Rodenbach 5.2%. Reddish brown, sour fruity aroma, medium bodied, dark malt, crab apple, sour pear. Refreshing Flanders Red Ale from Roeselare, West Flanders 🇧🇪
3.7 Moja ocena jest moja subiektywną oceną i nie musi pokrywać się z twoją oceną. Miej to na uwadze. Dystans zalecany. Instagram/czgr_
3.5 Sour cherry aroma. Has a dark brown colour and small light brown head. Sour cherry flavour with some dry woody notes. Medium body. Moderately sour finish.
3.5 Clear dark amber with a moderate slightly off white head. Aroma: Hops - red berries, cherry. Acidic. A bit of oak. Mouth: Fruity - both sweet and sour. Very moderate bitterness. Light/medium body.
3.6 Dark red color pour with a listing off-white head. Fruity aroma. Taste follows the nose with soured cherries.
4.1 Les Rodenbach sont uniques avec ce fruit aigre doux que j'adore
3.6 Ar: red fruit, citrus, sour Ap: brownish T: med sweetness, malty, slight sourness P: refreshing
2.6 dull, dark amber beer with white head. fruity, tart aroma. dark berry taste, more sour than the beers i am familiar with, good oaky taste. lacking the malt depth im used to in beer. pleasant vinegar taste. thin. not my kind of thing and wouldn't get again despite an affordable price point and obviously well made product.
3.3 Bottle from Ratsherrn beer shop - golden color, white head. Sourish, tart, cherries. Nice standard sour ale.
3.7 Amber, clear with a medium off white head. Clean aroma of red berries, cherries. Medium sour, minimal sweetness with a good cherries end. Like

4.4 Best summer drink
3.3 Lovely red colour. Sour cherry is the predominant flavour, not too complex. A nice enough sour beer but nothing special.
4.0 Light oaks, light tart, light cherry. Mild sourness. Ribena sweetness. Berries. Wood. Red wine, non acidic kind. Very sessionable. Light bready nose. Tasty for this amount of ABV. Awesome palate cleanser, especially so when the night is still young 🤣
