3.5 12 oz bottle from Baruni’s in Baden, PA. A slight taste of juniper but not enough to distinguish it from any other IPA.
2.8 A - Pours a hazy golden brass with a 2 finger rocky white head that has superior retention. Big sheets of lacing. S - Soapy herbal hops, white grapes, green apple, treated wood, lavender, pale malt. T - Sweet oaky lavender, green herbal resin, vanilla, spicy floral with a yeasty peppery bite. A dry treated oak finish. M - Medium creamy body. Excellent head retention. This taste like slightly hoped pinot grigio aged in gin barrels. I like that it’s different but one is plenty. It definitely has that super dry gin feeling towards the end. Serving type: bottle 11-02-2010

3.8 Definite piney aroma, with a hint of fruit (the juniper I assume). You can definitely taste the juniper berries, but I feel it matches the floral hop flavor well. Nice crispness in the finish, but not too dry overall. Pours a cloudy light amber with a decent head and lasting lacing.
3.8 22oz bottle. Pale Ale aged in Spruce Gin barrels. Pours Orange witha slightly pink hue. Long lasting white foam. Aroma of juniper berries. Loads of pine, spruce, pale malts, and a touch of open meadow. A little tart, clean malt. Definite essence of gin. Tangerine peel, juniper berries, spruce tips. Soft and creamy texture. The Juniper Pale & Spruce Gin pair very well together. Two of my sessionable Rogue favorites! (3499)
2.6 Pours a mostly cloudy pale orange color with a small amount of fizzy head. Smells like a forest, lots of pine, spruce, flowers, and grass. There’s a light fruit aroma too, maybe the juniper berries? Taste is a slight sweetness and then quickly turns very dry and fizzy. The carbonation bubbles on the tongue like a champagne and it doesn’t seem to fit here. This actually tastes closer to a dry white wine than a beer. Slightly spicy and floral in the finish too. I’m just not a fan of this. Too dry and fizzy.
3.3 650 ml bottle. Pours a hazy golden brown with full head. Aromas of malt vinegar, spruce, and light malts. Creamy. Flavors of ginger, lemon, white pepper, and malts
3.2 Bottle. Pours a cloudy orange with medium off white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is Juniper and citrus. Medium mouthfeel with a Sweet fruit and light citrus with the gin flavor coming in the lingering finish. A good American pale ale from Rogue.

Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120727]
3.2 Big juniper aromas. Flowery, spicy, juniper flavors. A touch of alcohol on the finish. Overall pretty tasty.
3.8 Bizarre aromas and flavors of cucumber, fig berries, and pine. Smooth, refreshing body that turns sweet on the back of the palate. Unique brew that boasts a long finish.
3.8 Multiple bottles a couple years back. Pours clearish golden with minimal head and lacing. Aromas of berries, heavy pine, gin, malts, and some citrus. Taste is perfumey berries and tree spice. Very pungent yeasty flavors, to go with the sour berries and caramel malts. Very interesting brew.
3.5 Bottled at PBF. Hazy golden, small head. Fruity juniper berry aroma. Mid sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Slight tart vinous notes. Juniper is evident. Slight salty bitterness. Gin seems to surface late and dominate the finish.
3.3 Bottled 66cl (PBF) Slightly hazy yellow color, small white head. Juniper, resin and some citric aromas in the nose. Light bodied. Resiny juniper flavor. Almost gin-like. Spicey, not really "APA".
3.4 650ml bomber pours a golden orange color with a finger of white head that leaves some spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma is light caramel with some light fruits and wood with some good floral notes. Taste is mild caramel malt and fruit sweetness with some woody notes and a dry citrusy hop bitterness. Light to medium bodied with some moderate carbonation leaving a pleasant feeling on the palate. Overall, quite a pleasant, refreshing and easy to drink pale ale.
3.4 Aroma is subtle with a nice floral smell. Pours hazy Orange with no head. Taste is subtle with a nice sweet floral bread to it. Very tasty.
4.2 Pours a orange copper color with a minimal whispy head. Taste is loaded with pale malts and a wonderful hint of subtle berry. This beer drinks so smooth with little bitterness to hold this beer back. Medium to high carbonation and other quiet notes of woods and pine. Yes this beer is terrific!
3.2 Pours orangish color with off white head. Aromas of carmel, oak, and juniper. Quite floral. Sweet caramel and juniper flavors with a hint of juniper and spices. Medium body with average carbonation.
3.5 20120402 Bomber from Honeygo. this one has been on my list a while as a Rogue beer that I wanted to get around to trying. Sadly, I think it was on the list too long. This one was hazy, dark golden with persistent white froth that just does not settle and fairly heavy carbonation in the glass as well. it looks nice, but it’s a bit of a chore to drink. Aroma is slightly metallic, cooked oats, fresh cut spinach, cucumber, and the faintest hint of juniper. Fresh hay, old barley, woody tang, meh, it’s okay, and I really like the idea.
3.4 John John Juniper Ale Sampled on 3/16/2012. This American Pale Ale pours a slightly hazy orange gold color from a 22oz bottle. Medium sized white foamy head with decent retention and nice lacing. The aroma is caramel, fruity and sweet, hint of juniper and some hops. A medium bodied American Pale Ale. The malts are caramel, fruity and sweet. The hops are citrusy and grapefruity. The juniper adds some interesting fruitiness to beer. Decent carbonation. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
3.1 Bomber. Poured slightly hazy straw golden with a sticky, mostly white head. The aroma picked up lots of juniper, gin, and a kiss of black pepper over pale and lesser bready malts.. floral hops jumped in there too.. smelled like it was going to be on the sharp side. The flavor found tart juniper, gin, and oak throughout.. pale malts and some deeply-rooted berry meat at the core.. finished very dry and quite sharp.. not my thing. Medium-bodied with moderate-plus carbonation on the palate.. the berries and gin were too assertive and a bit sour.. overall not something I need again.
