Royal Classic

Royal Classic

With a starting point in the special Royal malt combined with caramelmalt and dark roasted malt, this new classic has been brewed. It contains more aroma hops to balance the roasted malt compared to other classic beers on the Danish market.

2.8 0,33 l can, straight from The Scandinavian House barna dobozban arany felirattal.
Kedeligt.
2.5 Nice amber pour with off-white head. Aroma is light roasted malts without anything else. Taste same: malty, somewhat watery, nothing else. OK carbonation. So looks are good, but further nothing special. A simple regular factory beer; nothing bad about it, nothing good to say...
2.5 A little sweet at first, dark-ish malt. Hoppy, dry finish.
1.9 Lager aroma. Malty. Pours a deep golden amber colored body with a frothy head. Taste of malts and that’s about it. Watery and medium carbonation. Refreshment. Not enjoyment.
1.5 Duft lidt mejs svag citrus kedelig smag citrus mejs malt vand kedelig alt i alt trist
2.3 Bärnstensfärgad öl med ett smutsvitt skum. Doft och smak är malt och karamell. En typisk dansk "classic".
1.4 Malty aroma. The taste is malty and watery. Slightly bitter occupying the upper part of the mouth briefly. Drinkable beer. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.
2.4 Dark amber, malty and bready aroma, sweet taste, high carbonation, no bitterness.
2.2 Almost forgot I tried this. Just another poor macro brew with little to recommend it.
2.4 Can, 33cl. Served ice-cold. Pours warm golden, pale amber colour with thin-moderate off-white head that leaves little lacing. Caramel malts, grains and hops in the nose. Fruity, light malty, acidity at first, quicky turns to more watery caramal and sweety flavour. Little grainy and hops as well. Watery body and thin texture. Well, sure not anything really good nor special, but quite ok for a danish mass-brew. Too sweet to drink all night.
Gyldenbrun. Lavt luftig skum som daler sakte. Aroma av malt & litt mais. Smaken søt malt. Blir for søt. Kjedelig.
2.0 33 cl can @ home. Pours clear golden with a white head that leaves a little lacing. Aroma and flavour are malt and grains - with a slightly bitter finish.
2.0 Malt aroma (notes of toastiness and hops). Clear and pale appearance. White short lasting head. Medium sweet, light bitterness. Average soft carbonation, watery texture.
2.0 Can at home. Pours golden with a small white head. Aroma of malts caramel slight hops, taste is the same quite watery. Blah
1.8 Nicely frothy lager with pronounced malty and pleasant hop aroma. Tastes light of caramel and with the lagers usual flavor of malt and hops. It is not a crazy challenging beer, but a pretty good every-day. I mean is not that you should drink beer every day, but it’s a beer as cunningly can be enjoyed without a special occasion.
1.8 50 cl from tap@Nimb Bar Tivoli@approx 7 degrees C. Pours a beautiful red amber with medium off white head with low retention. The little aroma there is is of malt and bread. Taste unpleasantly acidic and only slightly malty. I do not detect the announced aroma hops at all and the aftertaste is again of bread and malt with no discernable hoppy bitternes. Medium carbonation and watery body, but a decent mouthfeel and good looks do not make up for a terrible macro product to be avoided in future.
2.5 33cl can. Dark amber with onde finger head which dissolves fast. Not much aroma. Malty taste with medium bitterness. Decent but uninteresting.
2.5 Pours clear copper. Aroma is malty with bread. Taste is malty, sweet, bread. could have been more exciting.
2.4 On tap at Cafe. Brown color, good foam. Low aroma intensity: malt & light dried fruits. Light body & complexity. Ok bitterness & balance. Pretty std macro
2.2 33cl can. Pours a dark, clear, reddish amber with a big, off white, short lasting head. Aroma has pilsner malts, slight faint hops, slight fruit like berries and lambrusco, some darker, but still watery malts. Taste is surprisingly fruity and almost acidic up front, gets more malty sweet and ends off mellow and watery. The acidic notes are a bit artificial, but the malt profile is actually somewhat decent. Medium high carbonation and watery body.
2.5 Kulhuse 20/9 2014. 33 cl can. Pours light brown with small white head which quickly subsides. Smell is malty with a little bit of nuts. Slightly prickly mouthfeel due to medium carbonation. Taste is a little sweet but ok balanced with slightly bitter aftertaste. Ok Classic - but nothing extraordinary.
2.5 A red amber lager / "Classic" with white head. Aroma is malty. Taste is light bitter sweet.
2.0 Clear amber color with High white color. Malty aroma. Taste is light bitter and watery. Disapointing.
