3.6 Bottle@home. Haze amber. One finger foam. Delicious grapefruity piney notes. Well balanced intense bitterness. Lingering but still nice. A Very good brew with pizza.
2.2 Bottle. Amber with average almost white foam. I don’t get much fruit like others have stated but the hop aroma has citrus and pine notes indeed. The taste is pretty sweet malty with a strong dominance of caramel. Drinkable.
3.7 Bottle. Pour is light hazy copper with a frothy head. Lots of mangoes, stone fruit, some peach and light resin. Malty sweet with a light bitter finish.
3.5 Bottle 355ml @ home Pours hazy deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, citrus, grape, pine and orange. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with a long caramel, orange, grape, piney and citrus finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
3.5 Tap. Slightly hazy deep golden body with an average, lacing off-white head. Aroma f orange, grapefruit, pine and caramel notes. Sweet flavor that ends up dry and bitter. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft carbonation. A nice IPA indeed.
3.6 Bottle, 6.5%. Hazy orange with medium off-white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, caramel, hops, little peach and a little grapefruit. Flavour is malt, fruit, hops, caramel, medium sweet, grapefruit, little peach, little pine and bitter.
3.8 Bottle. Murky dark amber pour with white head. Aroma has lots of flowers and some apricot. Taste is balanced with medium bitterness. Medium carbonation.
Retrogosto adstringente. Corpo e carbonatação médios.
3.3 355 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.5%. Deep golden to amber colour, slightly hazy. Moderate white head. Strong aroma of citrussy hops and old orange marmalade, hints of pine and dust. Fairly crisp and dry flavour, not as sweet as many other American IPAs. Very hoppy, with a very bitter and dry aftertaste.
Dime-a-dozen.
3.3 Shared bottle at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours hazy golden with a tiny white head. Aroma of fruity light sweet hops. Taste is dry, crisp and light sweet citrus, lingering citrus and herbal finish. Caramel malts for balancing, ok beer.
3.0 Shared bottle at Mi2 at Cardinal 26.10.15. Dark straw colour. Diminishing white head. Aroma of ripe tropical fruits and marmalade. Similar taste, with wine gum and bitter overripe mango. Also a bit earthy. Orange bitterness lingering on.
3.6 Bottle. Comes at 6.5% abv. It pours hazy orange with an off white head. The aroma is quite malty and floral hoppy. Malty, light spicy, floral and citrusy flavor. The malts are making a nice impression. Hops are not in the background but there is room for both here.
2.1 Bottle. Pours Amber with a white head. Aroma of malts, Stale hops. Light citrus, caramel. Too old borring.
3.4 Bottle from Toft Vin, Copenhagen - hazy amber coloured pour with white head. Aroma and taste is a mix of tropical and citrus fruits, grass and citrus hoppy, some grapefruit, satsuma, lemon, into a piney hoppy bitter finish. Decent enough IPA.
3.5 From bomber into a shaker. Medium amber with a cream colored head. Aroma is caramel malt and citrusy hops. Flavor is pretty hop forward with grapefruit notes. Medium bodied. Not a terribly complex IPA but pretty good.
3.4 Ótima ipa, com excelente amargor é um aroma marcante. Tomei no delirium café de SP. Vale tomar novamente.
3.3 Citrusy aromas, soft pine. Slightly hazy orange-gold with a mostly lasting white head. Zesty citrusy flavors, orangey. Light-medium bodied.
3.1 Bottle. Hazy caramel with pillowy white head and decent lacing. Smells lightly floral, a bit biscuity, faintly dank and piney. Flavor is sweet and floral. With a light hop finish.
3.3 This one was a little on the old side to be at peak and a gusher to boot, so I was ready for a drain pour, so I was pleasantly surprised to find it not much different from the fresher bottles out of the same 6-pack I’d drank some months before. Not a particular distinct nose, mild fruitiness and light malt, but nice medium body and moderate bitterness on the palate, citrus fruit and pine resin that lingers nicely. Nothing mind-blowing, but a solid, tasty IPA.
3.8 Piney nose, with some resin and citrus and a slight smokiness. A slight green apple fruitiness as it breathes and warms up. Satisfying body, not sweet or malty, but with a full, oily mouth feel. Pleasantly bitter, with no harshness. Lingering bitter finish. An excellent IPA. The bitterness does most of the talking, but it’s backed up a rich oily body.
3.5 Hazy, dark and golden. Good amount of head. Pine and some residual citrus in the flavor. Picked up in SF in 2014.
3.6 "6.5% abv, lighter in body and look. toasted malt with some good piney hops in the aroma. nice bitterness in the flavor as well, with a pleasing dry bitter finish. not the best, but quite good. "
2.9 Pours a cloudy amber color with a grapefruit aroma. Taste is light floral with a hibiscus aftertaste that quickly disappears. Clean and clear IPA that is simple and refreshing. The hop bitterness is slightly lacking but makes the beer very drinkable.
3.8 4 oz draft pour at Spacebar. Clear golden yellow with off-white head. Aromas of citrus, floral notes, caramel. Tastes of citrus, pine, floral notes. Medium body with a dry finish. Medium carbonation. Not too complex but good.
3.3 12oz bottle, 6.5% ABV. Medium white head atop clear amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, orange/grapefruit, light bread. Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit/lemon, light bread. Light-medium body, some resin.
3.5 Pours a burnt orange color with a nice white head. Nose is more pine and resin. Taste is typical genetic blend of citrus, pine and resin. Finishes on the same tasting note with a bitter finish. Descent ! Quaff Score 7 / 10
3.5 Bomber. Pours a dark hazy amber orange with an off white head and aroma of hops and grapefruit. Taste is of pine, resin, hops, grapefruit, and citrus leading to a dry, bitter finish
2.5 Pours a very cloudy orange-golden color with a short, quickly dissipating off-white head. Piney, citrusy nose with toffee malt aromas becoming a little too overpowering for the style. Full body with a wet texture. A mildly harsh hop leads the roasted malt. Both merge midway to impart a distinct prune flavor.
3.1 Aroma of mango and a cloudy gold color with a little white head. It has a bitter hop flavor but has subtle sweet notes too. Complex.
