3.9 On tap at the brewery. Clear yellow pour with a white head. Hmm, interesting. Mild pine bitterness with maybe some muted tropical hop backbeats. Good body and mouthfeel.
4.4 On tap at Tustin Brewing. Pours golden. Fruity, piney, melon aroma. Taste is sappy, malty, strong bitter hops on a manageable pale ale. Finish is big lasting hops. It's a trip that it's not a heavy beer but the flavor is really full and long lasting. Fantastic pale ale.
4.1 July 27th, 2015 - I'm losing track of where we are in the tasters now, but Row2Hill distinguishes itself with an umami rich aroma of mushrooms. Earthy yet hoppy, it also has the smell of raw banana peppers, making it slightly herbaceous at the same time that it features some soil scent. The mouthfeel is fuzzy and filling, letting a clean hoppy flavor come through. The aftertaste echoes long after the sip, with a lemony zest and low-key hop bitterness. Biscuit and light, the balance here is superb. I'm not to the Pliny yet, but this seems worthy of setting at its left or right hand.
3.6 On tap at the brewery. Pours gold. Pine, orange, grapefruit, caramel, biscuit. Medium body. Good.

3.7 Tap at Russian River. A beer I remember really enjoying and one I have long wanted to have again. A: Clearish gold, thin white head, and lacing. N: Big pineapple, pine, saltine cracker, and grass. Peppercorn, coriander, lavender, rosemary, and thyme. Grapefruit and lemon peel. T: Quite dry and bitter with a light sweetness to follow. Lots of Simcoe hops here. Peppery and citrusy. M: Medium-light body, resins, no alcohol, crisp carbonation. O: Not quite as sterling as my memory, but it's still a pretty nice IPA and definitely an easy drinker.
