1.2Lite platt ocj tråkig i smaken.
3.633cl bottle, Systembolaget. A rather boring aroma and a nice grapefruity taste. Feels nice on the palate.
3.2Bottle from deeside drinks emporium. Pours a slightly hazed golden with a thick white head which fades quickly. Not much on the aroma side maybe a slight earthy, grassy hint. The taste has toasted malt, earthy and a slight citrus bitter kick.
3.1Clear amber color. Small white head. Aroma and taste of hops. Bitter and dry. Long aftertaste.
3.4330ml bottle [Thanx Bobele!]. Clear, orangey golden colour with small to average, frothy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Minimally perfumed, zesty, hoppy aroma, notes of lemon, lemon zest, a grassy touch, cautious caramel malty background, some lemon biscuit. Taste is fruity hoppy, notes of lemon, lemon zest, minimally astringent, cautious caramel malty background, subtle malt sweetness, some lemon biscuit. Nice and refreshing lemon ale.
3.7courtesy of fiulijn - light hazy red-orange beer with a little foam left; hoppy aroma of apples and star fruits; juicy and medium-bodied; light dry and bitter; long fruity hoppy finish, quite aromatic
3.0Remarkably scentless. The flavor is then more inviting and feels very fresh and well balanced.
3.533cl bottle from SYstembolaget. Amber color, thick white head. Floral, hoppy, grapefruity on the nose. Flavor has tropical fruit, biting bitterness, citrus and grape in the dry finish. Quite nice APA.
Kort
3.2@ Röhällavägen. Bottle (330 ml) from Systembolaget (18:-). Fruity, malty and hoppy, some herbal notes, a bit hayish/grassy, citrus, sweet, quite crisp, medium body and oily texture. The finish is dry and hoppy.
3.0Bottle from Sweden. Thanks to Lars.Try at Belgrade beer tasting. Pour it amber color with small white head.Taste and aroma of malt, fruits.Ok nothing special
3.0World Cup Tasting. Dark golden with a lasting white head. Malty aroma with some fruity and grassy hop notes. Sweet malty flavour with grassy hops
2.7VM Tasting @ Christian. Pours clear pale yellow with a white head. Citrus, grass, dust and paper. Some corn. Medium bodied.
3.1.33l bottle at Belgrade tasting. Thanks Balkanlasse. Hazy lemon yellow. Hanging white foam. Citrus hop, some harder malt. Sweet, mild hops, strong yeast and chocolate malt. Ok.
3.1Keg at the Hanging Bat. Pours hazy amber, dry, sticky toffee, light fruit, oramge.
3.3Clear light orange beer with white head leaving lacing. Aroma has pale malts, caramel sweetness, perfume, tropical fruits and gooseberry. Flavor has gooseberry and malty sweetness. Palate is thinner than medium and quite heavily carbonated. Finishes with a medium grapefruity bitterness and aftertaste of maltiness, resin and some soap. Not the most refreshing and aromatic APA, but decent. Reminds me a bit of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.
3.3330 ml bottle. Clear amber with white head. Smell is sweet malty with citrus and pine. Taste is deep sweet malt body with pine and floral finish.
2.6Bottle from Systembolaget Strømstad. Pours a sparkling clear eep golden body with a fair head. Marmelade, dry tangerine peel, caramel and autumn leaves on the nose. Citrus fruitiness and peel bitterness in the mouth along with subdued malts. Medium bodied. Heavily carbonated and quite refreshing, but the finish is a bitterness mixed with marmelade.
2.7Of the better St Eriks, I think they should stick more to the basemalt personally. A bit too sweet, a bit cereal feel to the malt, the cascade is a bit toned down, need more late hop additions to get it together, maybe a nice hop blend? It’s a simple Pale Ale though, but can be very much improved...
Lätt i smaken. Helt ok över lag.
2.5Bottle 0,33l. Pours a hazy golden colour with low lace. Aroma of hay, citric and hops. Same for taste with a metallic finish.
2.6Flaska@SB.
3.0330ml bottle from Beermoth, Manchester. Clean and slick pale here but a little inoffensive and boring. Nice balance and not too sweet but just lacks some balls. Nice embossed bottle though.
2.9A nice APA with great appereance and nice head. Taste is fine while not fantastic but an overall good APA.
3.0Bottle from Systembolaget Hagfors. Just a good Pale Ale, Cascade gives a nice citrus aroma.
3.1Aroma; herbal hops, pine, resin, smoke, caramel, berries.
Deep golden almost clear body, fine pearl white head, making modest laceworks.
Taste; fruity hops, citrus, smoked wood, berries, malts.
Ok to palate, alright bodied. Finishes with fruitiness, chocolate notes, cheese, grapefruit. Overall a tasty fresh ale.
