A powerful India pale ale, brewed with American Amarillo and Citra hops. A balanced malt sweetness supports the epic hop aroma and flavour explosion.

2.6 Bottle in Lund. Not that hoppy despite the name, more like an English IPA.
2.4 Immensely disappointing if only because of what the name of the brew and the bottle art promises. Yes, this is a hoppy IPA but much more in the traditional British sense, rather than in the explosive and juicy sense. Again, not a bad brew but just another cause of false advertising (read: “rebranding”) to cash in on the more modern trends; the ol’ “whack a few more hops in and change the label” jobby that seems to be rife amongst traditional brewers in England. 550ml bottle.
3.4 Bottle. Aroma of hops, lemon floral zest. Pours light orange golden. No head. Light medium hoppy.
2.8 Bought from Mega Image in Bucharest, 0.5 bottle. Nice pale ale, even though expected more "hopyness", definitely enjoyed.
2.7 4-3-4-3-13, 0.5ml bottle
3.1 Another beer from Lidl this one is actually far better than some I have tasted from There
2.9 Bottle, 19/08/17, thanks Jugu. Pours a yellowy orange with a good, white head. Aroma is somewhat hoppy, caramel, citrus. Taste is caramel, some citrus, lemon-lime soda.
3.6 Clear golden color with white head. Fresh, zesty aroma with some citrusy hops and clean malt in the background. Taste is mild, bitter upfront, zesty, mineral on the finish, quite dry. Medium body, soft carbonation. Overall it’s a really drinkable and tasty pale ale.
3.3 Bought at local Morisons, BBE 11 months away. Clear, golden, head fades quickly. Aroma is malty, I can barley smell any hops. Smooth with spot on carbonation imho. Too sweet for my liking, not enough bitterness to offset it. Too be fair it says on the label it’ll be sweet. It also says ’powerful hop character’ and that’s where it fells apart. Good hop flavour for a pale ale, not enough for APA, especially on the aroma side.
4.0 Fruity peach and apricot in smell and taste. Light and refreshing, very light in colour good head. Summertime drink...
3.4 Cask @ Briar Rose, Birmingham. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and light hoppy - citrus. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 270717

3.4 Cask: Frothy white head stayed on a translucent, light golden body. Sweet citrus aroma. Medium bodied, well carbonated. Sweet citrus, hoppy, floral & mango tastes. Good pale.
3.4 500ml bbMAR18. - Straw gold pour, pretty flat. Smells of herbal tea, Lady Grey with a splash of skimmed milk (proteins blanketing citrus, melissa). - Distinct British malt profile and that ice tea granulate gristling on the tongue: peach ice tea in powder form, malts with some biscuit/caramel flavour. Something feels macro/big batch about this, but the Citra/Amarillo do their pleasant subtle thing in the foreign, weaker than APA, environment.
3.1 500ml bottle. Clean pale gold with light carbonation and a thin white head. Aromas of fresh-cut grass, butter, and brine tuna. Flavours of faint bitter orange, IPA bitterness, butter, and a slight note of coriander.
3.4 Jasna prawie slomkowa barwa. Piana wysoka drobnopechezykowa dlugo sie utrzymoje. Ladny tropikalny aromat. W smaku podobnie z wysoka goryczka no I szalenstwo chmielu.Polecam
3.6 Bottle from B&M. Nice looking beer, clean golden colour with a good white head. Nose isn’t as big or hippy as I’d expected, pleasant enough citrus character tho. Hops are more noticeable on the palate, nice lingering zesty finish. Good beer!
3.2 Bottle at home. Pours clear golden yellow. Some malty sweetness. Citrus with some hops and slight bitterness in the finish.
3.3 Bottle. golden clear. Really english- like sharp herby tea, bergamotty hoppy nose. med bodied, well bittered, citrussy, bitter, hard caramels toffee. an english.. scottish- like ipa. clean ok.
3.1 Bottle, from Bargain Booze, Barton. Pale lemon gold, thin shortlived white head and minimal condition. Good solid citrus and pineapple hop notes initially in the nose, with some background farmyard funk emerging as it warms. Full bodied in the mouth with a sweet grain note tempered by a solid peppery hop bitterness laced with citrus and some mineral chalkiness. Finish becomes quite dry and bitter, almost harshly so, but there is still a muted sweet grain note to keep a modicum of balance.
3.2 This pretty ordinary, still a good beer reminds me of saying: “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore, is not an act but a habit.” - Aristoteles
2.6 Bottle. Clear golden in color with a whitish head. Fruity citrus, wool socks and plastic notes in aroma. Berries and bitter notes in taste. Doesn’t feel that refreshing.
3.4 Many thanks to Finn for this beer gift. 500ml bottle. Bright, warm golden body, pearl white head leaving clingy lacing behind. Leafy hops on the nose joined by a touch of citrus. Malt-fruity flavours including lemon, leafy hops and moments of honeyed malts. Good drying bitter support. Medium bodied. A nice one, just a little too dry in the long run. Satisfying cheese pairing (Tromsø 16.09.2016).
3.0 Aroma; hops, peel, plastic malts, pale malts, honey note. Look; off white head, clear golden body. Taste; hops, bitter peel, honey note, pale malts, grains - leading to a hoppy toffee finish. Feel; alright. Overall; hoppt ale with a golden toffee. [50cl.btl 5% BB.May.17 B@Kilpisjärvi Alko]
3.0 Flaske 500ml fra Alko Kilpisjärvi. Drukket på Lillehøgda 2 Sep 16. Lys gyldenbrun. Middels høyt tett skum. Spotlacing. Aroma av malt & frukt. Silkemyk munnfølelse. Søt fruktsmak. Mest plommer. Blir tørr etterthvert. Bra!
3.4 [GBBF 2016, Olympia] - Sadler’s Ales Hop Bomb, 5%. Ausgewogenes, vielschichtiges IPA. Gelungen.
3.6 Bottle. Golden color with white head. Aroma has tropical fruits, honey, grass and lemon. Taste is malty with quite long sweet and bitter aftertaste. Flavors of honey, malt, pine and grapefruit.
3.1 500ml bottle. Pours amber. Mainly citrus with floral notes too. The hops is real, but otherwise the aroma feels "thin". On the sweeter side for APA.
