3.1Bottle. Pours dark with mocha head which dissipates quickly. Aroma is vanilla, chocolate, roasted malt, a bit of alcohol. Flavour is chocolate, roasted malt, slight coffee, minimal residual sweetness. Soft bitterness, no astringency, low carbonation. Good.
4.3Fantastic little beer from B&M bargains. Almost jet black like coca cola, smokey smell, deep roasted flavour, 6% punch, zero head or lacing. Not as complex as Guinness west indies porter but a dam good alternative I've been alternating this with king goblin. King goblin has more of a chocolatey malt flavour and this has the smokey roasted flavour, superb!!!!! Wish they sold it in pubs
3.1500ml bottle bought at B&M Bargains. Pours clear cola colour with hardly any head. Aroma: sweet-ish, roasted malts, light smoke. Taste: roasted malts, oats, vanilla, a little chocolate & coffee, dark fruits, earthy hop. Light to medium bodied, very light carb, dry bitter finish.
3.2Very drinkable stout. Great flavour and has an "old fashioned" appearance with little head. Notes of chocolate and cracked crystal malt - just right for a stout or porter. Watch this one though - it drinks like a session beer but has a kick like a mule above about four bottles!
3.5330ml can. 6% unfiltered. Gluten Free. Black brown colour, tan foam head leaving lacing and meaty malty aroma. Taste is roasted malt, oats, smokey, meaty, with chocolate, coffee, vanilla and earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft to medium carbonation, dry tangy roasty bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.
3.4Thin texture and a relatively light body too. I felt the vanilla tastes overpowered the others and detracted a bit from the chocolate and oats trying to push through. It's a stout that I can take or leave but I keep buying it so it must be doing something right!
3.2Bottle. 6% version. Cola coloured with zero head. Aroma is vanilla, quite sweet. Nose is coffee, vanilla. Taste is black current, liquorice, then sweet coffee in the finish. Quite full bodied. It’s good, a classic I keep coming back to.
4.0Pours dark, charcoal with a firm tan head. Aroma sweet, smoky cacao.
Tastes chocolatey, sweet and smooth with notes of vanilla pods. Very nice stout.
3.46.0% Version from Alko. Pours dark with thin solid head, very feint aroma of coffee on the nose. Flavour is roasted malts coffee with hints of cocoa, but no vanilla. Aftertaste is smooth, slight bitterness and cocoa.
3.16% version. Pleasant coal tar and birch with a hint of Coca Cola and some chocolate and vanilla. A little lacking in body though despite the strength
3.4Bottle from Alko. Black with not much head. Burned malts, some vanilla, hint of cocoa, some fizzy.
3.6500ml bottle from M&S. Pours near black with a small beige head. Nose is vanilla, bitter coffee, chocolate, roasted malts and some dark fruits. Smooth in the mouth and slightly thin. Taste starts with that vanilla and chocolate but quickly leads into a bitter roasted malt finish with some prune and dark vinous fruitiness. Pretty decent but would have preferred a lot more of the vanilla and chocolate.
3.6Bottle. BBE Apr 2018; Drank Nov 2017 - Opaque dark brown / black in colour. Medium creamy beige head. Very malty; roasty malts, grainy, dark chocolate, vanilla, liquorice, brown sugar, coffee. Mildly spicy. Fruity; dark fruits, plums, raisins. Hoppy; slight hop bitterness. Sweet roast chocolate and vanilla malty spicy fruity throughout. Rich creamy and dry. Enjoyed this. Very drinkable. Good stuff. (2017-11)
3.5Bottle from Home Bargains. Rich strong session stout. Love it!
4.2Bottle. Deep black pour, small tan head that disappears quickly. An amazing stout. Moorish flavours of dark fruits and roasted malts. Great mouth feel, smooth.
3.5Black with beige-brown head. Aroma is sweet and malty with milk chocolate, coffee and black bread. Taste is coffee, milk chocolate, black bread and slightly roasted notes. Medium mouthfeel, light carbonation and bitter roasted aftertaste.
3.5Bottle from Marks and Spencer Camberley. Nice vanilla and chocolate blend in the aroma, makes it smell vaguely fruit. Nice body, light sweet but not overdone. All in all balanced and tasty, but not exceptional.
3.4Bottle, 6.0% ABV. Dark brown color with tan head. Aroma has sweet chocolate, cocoa drink notes and some vanilla on a toasty malt backbone. Taste starts with vanilla but is quickly overwhelmed by roasted malts and cacao bitterness. Aftertaste is quite roasty, almost ashy. Light body, quite mineral and dry feel with medium carbonation. Overall it’s a good stout but quite unbalanced.
3.1Bottle from Alko. Black color, beige head. Bitter taste with roasted malts, dark fruits, coffee, chocolate and a bit of nuts. Bitter finish with roasted malts, chocolate, dark fruits and a bit of nuts. Okay stout, but rather weak.
3.2500ml bottle at home. Clear dark brown with beige head. Malty wheat chocolate dark malts and roasted char. Can see why this is classed a foreign stout. More Belgian feel to it.
3.3On holiday in wales black colored body with an off white head and with a roasted malt coffee aroma a roasted malt hop coffee caramel sweet taste with a light bitter finish
3.2Bottle, alko. Black. Sweet bit woody malty vanilla, roasty nose. Med bodied, smooth light feeling, easy. Roasty finish, bit thin. Not too impressed. Feels thin macroish, as if designed not to have too much flavour to scare anyone off.

3.450cl bottle. Pours almost black with a thick off-white head. Aroma is sweet licorice, vanilla. Sweet malts, licorice, chocolate and oatmeal sweetness in flavor. Thin bodied
3.5Black colour, small and creamy tan head. Aroma has malts, some wheat and a little bit of vanilla. Rich taste, plenty of dark malts, seems more like coffee than cocoa to me. Light bitterness, pretty nice flavours. Medium body and carbonation, very smooth mouthfeel. Pretty good stout.
