2.7 Fles @ De Portugees, Amsterdam XI 2021. Licht clean en moutig smaak met een redelijke bitter. Doordrinkbaar. Origineel glas
3.9 Can't go wrong with this beer. It's eminently drinkable on draught, bottle or can. In my opinion better than Super Bock or Cruz Campo. This review is from a can I brought back from Portugal. Served cold. Light golden colour, light nose with a little malt. Easy drinking, refreshing. No cloying or lingering mouth feel, which makes it great for drinking all night. Especially good as a thirst quencher in the Portuguese sun. Pints of Sagres on draught in Sagres - recommended. It's not brewed there but when in Rome or Sagres, as the case may be... Cans were 79 cent for 500 ml can in a Continente somewhere. Haven't found it in Ireland but would guess it'll be the same price as all the imported lagers (€2 to 2.50 or so). God we are so ripped off in this country.
2.6 Tap at Wax Restaurant and Bar, Praia de Faro. A pretty standard macro lager, not unpleasant but not as refreshing as similar macros.
Grazie 24.09.21
2.4 Old rating - 330ml bottle, pours light pale with a white head. Aromas & tastes of cereal, corn, flora, dough & hints of citrus. Moderate body. Light bitter finish
1.6 Bottle tasted Poors clear straw with a tiny white foamy head. Cereal corn to the nose. Cereal and sweet malts bit of corn some very light citrusy notes some alkalinity. A light body with rather high carbonation bit effervescent. A clean finish with a sour doughy aftertaste.

2.2 Clear golden, white head. Sweet malt and grain aroma. Sweetish flavour, sweet malt, light hoppy bitterness, thin finish.
2.7 Super bock is better
2.0 This pale lager is what I think most people that don't care for beer think all beer is. It has no frills and isn't standing out in a unique or distinguishable taste. It is crisp and has a decent refreshment quality to it. To me, it's a beer to wash down some concessions you get at a ball game. And I'm not a huge judge in saying there are good/bad beers, only preferences and time and situation.
3.0 So I walk into a generic BWS bottleshop in Oz that I hadn't visited before just before close and the bloke behind the counter was as about as generic as a generic bottleshop bloke could be. The beer, poured from about one foot, had nearly as many fingers as the word generic appears in this review. I suspect that the finger/head ratio would probably be less if poured from, say, a finger height but that does not diminish the validity of the useful finger analogy already firmly established on ratebeer.com. Aroma: lager with a touch of thickness I like to liken to dried ripe banana. Fingers: about 3.5 Taste: nice. Aftertaste: medium bitterness. A decent enough lager with quite a bit of hoppiness lacking in Aussie lagers in the land of the kangaroo... which um.. hops. 5% alc/vol.
2.5 330ml bottle. Gold, small white head, good carbonation, good head retention. Quite a malty aroma with grain and metallic hops. Taste follows aroma, fairly sweet. Nice bodied refreshing lager with some unfortunate metallic notes.
2.1 Can On flight TP201 Lisbon - Newark. Clear golden. Light malty, light hoppy. Standard.
2.5 On tap. Clear golden color, white, qucik diaaspearing head. Quite easy drinking. Spicy, crisp, thin
3.0 Barwa złota, piana drobnoziarnista, aromat jak i smak mocno słodowy plus wyczuwalna lekka goryczka i kwaskowść, całkiem przyjemne w upalne dni.
2.6 APARÊNCIA amarelo dourado, translúcido. espuma branca de boa formação e fugaz. AROMA Malte. SABOR cereal, malte, mel e leve amargor. SENSAÇÃO corpo baixo e boa carbonatação.
2.2 Mediocre lager. Still quite refreshing and some lingering fruityish aftertaste.
2.8 Robe or clair, limpide, belle mousse plutôt épaisse, assez visqueuse et tenace, belle carbo à grosses bulles, véloces. Nez de grain frais, puissant. Attaque maltée, grain, pain frais, texture légère, amertume très légère. Se boit très bien, mais c'est une lager très classique.
2.9 Looks: gold pale color with medium white head. Aroma: grains, cereals, no hops. Taste: similar to taste, only a very small amount of sweet, with no hops. Mouthfeel: very light body, with fizzy medium carbonation. Overall: a very light, thirst quenching pale lager. Pleasant on a warm day but obviously not for its taste.
2.4 Light, bubbly, subtle malt-based aroma. Has a subtle sweetness in the flavours and some gentle hoppy background, Ordinary.
2.2 Bottle sample at a tasting. Thanks Shmupis. Clear pale golden with white head. Sweetish aroma with notes of bread, honey, cereal, herbs. The flavor is sweet and mild bitter with notes of cereal, black pepper, honey, corn. Light-bodied.
2.0 Pours clear golden with a thin white head, tracing carbonation. Aroma of harsh rice. Taste is typical of the premium lager style, somewhat acerbic, hints of a toasted element. Palate is relatively undeveloped, slightly oily. Eh.
4.0 Verdadeiro sabor a Portugal um pouco áspera no entanto saborosa.
0.5 Uma merda
2.4 (25cl bottle, Lisbon) AROMA: straightforward, hint of skunk APPEARANCE: light golden yellow, average TASTE: green grain, some metal, basic pils hops, leans toward dry instead sweet PALATE: light to medium light, frizzy but not harsh OVERALL: a summertime lager with some euro characteristics. More flavor than a Bud or a light beer. Kind of a high end (but cheap) mass lager. Doesn't suck. I like the dryness of it.
2.2 Golden with a fizzy head. Light. Toasted grain, light earthy notes. Effervescent. Industrial lager done industrial.
2.1 De color dorado, ligera y de carbonatación media. Aromas débiles a granos y malta. En boca es dulce, simple pero bebible. Superior a Bock.
2.9 Bottle. Pours clear straw with airy white head. Clear aroma of yeast and malt, with faint hoppy notes. Sweetish, estery flavour with bitter notes og hops and tpuches of malt. Estery and malty aftertaste. Well, a regular Pale Lager but not bad for the style.
2.4 Bottle at Village Underground in Lisbon. Cool art exhibit. Standard pale lager appearance...straw golden, looks like a hot summer day type of offering. Nose isn't inviting but wasn't really expecting much. Grainy like domestic US conglomerates. Taste follows suit but honestly hits the spot this afternoon. One of the two primary Portuguese beers. Finishes clean. Just enough bitterness with light grainy sweetness. Met expectations.
