Saint Archer IPA

Saint Archer IPA

Everything you’d expect from a great American IPA: Hop-forward, yet civilized. Bitter but balanced. Cascade hops ring loud and clear with citrus/pine notes and are backed up by a chorus of our other favorites - Apollo, Centennial, Chinook, Columbus, Crystal, and Simcoe.

3.6 Citrus-piney nose, pleasing bitterness, medium body with a touch of oiliness. Bitter with good hop flavor with a bit of sweetness. A good IPA, but doesn't stand out from the many excellent IPAs available now.
2.6 Clear gold appearance. Nice swirling like vortex of carbonation. Resiny hop aroma. First sip is crisp and slightly tart, with dank like hop flavor and bitterness. Champagne like spritzy carbonation and medium bodied. Dry-ish middle and finish, with a slight corn light beer flavor that lingers. 7% abv is not noticeable. This brew starts off nice, but falls short with an off-putting sweet cheap taste.
3.0 Sampled during THT November. Pours a hazy pour yellow with a white head. Quite bitter, grassy, green, bitter.
3.5 Can at THT November. Hazy yellow with white head. Sweet malts, hoppy, grassy, fruity. Moderate sweet and bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation.
3.4 Can shared at THT. Hazy light golden with white head. Flowery, light grapefruit, light wheat, light cheesy hops, bitter herbs, soft lime peel. Just medium sweet, medium bitter. Medium bodied with slight dry feel.
4.6 The Hague Beer Tasting - 16 November 2018 at Brouwerij Kwartje Fantastic IPA, traditional form.
4.0 Auch hier wurde nicht mit HopInfusion gespart..klinisch, malzig mit Bewusstseinserweiternden ErfrischungsEffekt🐠 ...PHISH Two :)....Tap Stuff at LAKE TAHOE OUTDOOR ARENA AT HARVEYS...
2.9 From the pour yourself a beer wall at the Book in the LINQ. Pours a pale, clear, yellow color, with a big, frothy, white head. The aroma is pine sap, orange peel, mild floral aromatics, and straw. Not very sweet, with a hard bitterness. Light to medium body, with a sticky, thin mouthfeel. This is an aggressive, and fairly tasty beer, if a bit thin.
3.1 Slightly hazy golden color with a white head. Pine and citrus hop aroma, a little on the weak side. Medium body. A little sweet. More pine on the palate. Not overly impressive in any regard.
3.7 Can @ Best Western Plus. Pours golden with a creamy white head. Aroma of malt, fruit, peach, citrus, light pine. Flavor is light bitter, malt, fruity, citrus and pine. Medium body, average carbonation, light bitter finish. 300718
3.7 On tap at the ballgame at Angel Stadium in Anaheim. Shared with PracticePlastic. Bitter citrus, grapefruit, some pine. Quite bitter. Blend is a touch subtle, interesting for a bitter brew. 13.6

2.4 Canned 2/16/18, drunk 3/9/18. Lightly hazy, very warm-toned, apricot-peach colored body with a small, white head showing moderate retention. Peachy-marmalade in the nose contends with light honey and buttercream-like malts that easily back. Growing papaya begins to get a bit twangy and quickly, pine resin enters the mix with bread, dough and overly fruity, almost spoiled fruit-like yeast. In the mouth it's overly soft, almost mushy with too much sugar throughout and punchy-twangy peach-papaya leading to nearly astringent pine resin and heavy bread and dough on the end. Fairly engaging carbonation but it falls very short of mitigating.
3.2 Can. Hazed yellow hue. Modest head formation. Earthy pine, lemon, grapefruit aroma. Biscuity malt front end. Strong citrusdy grapefruit at the back. Wasn't expecting much but this is definitely a decent, above average IPA.
4.0 at the dog house in Long Beach, CA.on draft. pale orange body, white head. nose suggests a strong piney hop, does not dissapoint. one review says owned by Miller, another says Coors. i hate the corporate buying of small batch brewers, but whoever owns them hasn't screwed it up yet.
3.5 355ml can into shaker. Great inviting nose of orange, lemon, wood and earth. Cloudy amber beer with frothy white head. A little patchy lacing. High fine carbonation. Surprisingly light body with a little spritzy zing. Earthy bitterness with a piney herbal finish. Nice IPA, stupidly easy to drink at 7%!
2.6 On the deck at Hotel Coronado...decent IPA...disappointed to learn it was owned by Miller Coors
3.4 Slightly hazy, golden pour with a white head. The aroma has some grapefruit and faint pine. It has a light body with crisp texture and lively carbonation. The taste is mildly bitter with a dry finish.
3.6 Bomber. Fat zesty piney/citrus nose, very weedy with Citra and Simcoe blasting out. Orange/amber color, fluffy non-lasting white head. Flavors are much milder than the aromas, but still full of big buttering hops, along with some caramel. Medium body. Fun nose, very sticky, weedy, and aromatic. Flavors don’t quite match up, but rather provide a swirl of mixed hop bittterness.
3.2 My super bowl brew. A little disappointed to find it’s owned by coors . Slight ipa bitter
3.7 Can from Sterk Amsterdam. Aroma is fruity hops with zesty citrus, pine, light biscuity malt, fruit peel, mildly tropical fruits. Flavour is lightly sweet with a medium bitter and dry finish. Body is medium. Nicely crisp and citrussy hoppy IPA, refreshing, good!
3.7 From a 355ml can at RBAG Winter 2018. Bright yellow colour with a touch of haze. White head on top, does not last. Aroma is lemony, weedy. Taste has some sweet malt at the start with notes of lemon, grass, dank, pine and caramel. Light hoppy finish. Pretty solid.
3.5 Aroma is grapefruit, orange rind, toffee, and sweet malt. Taste is juicy orange and grapefruit and malts.
3.6 Rating #2869 - 2018.01.20 - #RBAGWinter2018 - Canned 06.26.17 - Pours a clear golden with a bubbly white head. Aroma is orange, onion, herbaceous, weedy. Palate is light citrus, some dank oniony weedy flavour. Decent.
4.1 Pours golden blonde with a thick beige head and a citrus aroma. There is a hearty pale malt flavor with considerable hop bitterness. Nice hop profile.
3.2 (Can - 9 months after canning date) Pours hazy golden amber with big loose head. Nice aroma of pine with citrus hints. Medium body with good carbonation. Taste is hop dominated in a good way - nice hop flavours through the palate and good bitterness in finish. There's some fruity notes at the start. Otherwise it's mainly about those hops. Pleasant enough.
2.5 Four weeks old can, so it's fresh. Aroma is lost on my clogged sinuses. Taste is very one-dimensional. Strong pine bitterness with no citrus that I've seen mentioned in other reviews. The malt balance is kind of OK, but that super-strong pine bitterness dominates to the point of almost being unpleasant. Yay, I have 5 more to drink.....ugh.
3.2 Pale yellow color with a nice aroma but a bit weak and one dimensional for an American style IPA.
3.8 Pours a clear golden orange from the can with bubbly white head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma of nice piney and zesty citrus hop notes, a bit of caramel malt base. Taste follows, definitely hop forward, mild bitterness. I'm a fan.
3.8 Never had Saint Archer before. This has a bite for sure when you first taste it but it mellows and looks beautiful.
