3.3 Draught @ Albion. Pours hazy pale yellow with small white foamy head, faint earthy aroma, low carbonation, mildly earthy taste, smooth body, medium finish. Smooth and easy to drink.
3.2 Bottle from Best One Bedford. Light yellow, cloudy. A tiny bit of white head. Candy sugar aroma with touches of fruit. Could be rhubarb, it's not exactly clear, but it's pleasant. Bitter chalky taste which has a bit of sweetness mid-sip before turning medicinal again. A touch vegetal in the finish. Very heavy carbonation in the mouthfeel. Not an amazing IPA but drinkable enough.
3.3 Bottle. Straw-golden color. Aroma: sourly, rhubarb, grass. Taste: slightly acidic, malt sweetness, rhubarb, refreshing.
3.3 6.9%. Heldere gouden kleur en een goede kraag. Ruikt fruitig, citrus, orange. Smaakt fruitig, zoetig, citrus.
2.8 33cl bottle at home. Pours a clear orange colour with a medium soapy head. Aroma of caramel, sugar, rhubarb, malt, citrus, orange, sour apple. Taste is fairly sweet, moderate bitter, slight acidity with a low dry finish. Notes of caramel, sweet malt, citrus, rhubarb. Texture is oily, medium bodied with low carbonation. Seems unbalanced.
3.2 Quite fruity with a sharp finish. Would have liked more rhubarb. Nice, but could be so much more.
3.6 Bottle, La Salamanzar, Toulouse. Pours medium amber with a thin white foam residing. Scent is strong fruity IPA notes, masked by the moldy dungeon in this pub. Taste is consistent with sour notes of citrus and dark fruit. Some properties of Belgian Abbey ale. Finish is smooth. Great.
3.4 From 33cl bottle at Birroteca88, Cattolica, Italy. Pours hazy gold, slightly orange with fairly high head of white foam. Aroma had some sweetness from the malt body and likely from the rhubarb, as well as indication of tropical fruits from the Pacific hops used. Body is medium, with low carbonation. Taste is sweetish but with nice underlying bitterness. A hint of sourness. Marked alcoholic feeling for the declared level of 6.9. Finish is relatively long with a mix of sweet and tangy.
3.6 33cl bottle purchased @ Nysa. Bière très fruitée qui démarre sur la fraicheur d’une IPA mais pour laquelle l’amertume est atténuée par la note de rhubarbe qui intervient au final. Bel équilibre
3.3 Bottle from Crafty Bottle, Lincoln. Hazy golden colour with a white head. Aroma is fruity, tart, yeasty and rhubarb. Taste id sweet fruity, and light bitter. Medium body.
3.6 Bottle at home, golden beer, small head. Aroma is fruit, malt, sweetish. Taste is the same, some hops, not bad.
3.5 Bottle. Aroma is tart fruits, hints of hay, grapefruit, zest and white pepper, mango and peach in the background. Medium orange gold, hazy, medium white head, disappearing. Light+ sweetness, light+ bitterness, taste is fruity, some tart notes, orange, grapefruit. Medium body, medium carbonation, nice fruity finish with some dry bitterness. Nice!
3.3 Bottle. Pours golden clear with light white head. Aroma is dry, acid, fruits, sour notes, some berries, light grass. Taste is bitter, dry, salty, sweat shirt, some acid, fruits, grass, light sour notes. Salty and nice beer!
2.9 Didnt get much rhubarb. Some tart with grapefruit flavours. A decent light IPA.
3.5 6,9% Alc. Vol. op het etiket. Blond bier met dunne witte schuimkraag. Geur: hoppig, fruitig, klein zuurtje, leuke neus! Smaak: licht bitter, lichte zurigheid, rabarber?
3.2 Hazy golden with weak white foam. Aromas of weak new world hops, fruity and tart saisony notes. Palate, mediu body, smooth texture leaves dry finish. Taste, hoppy bitter with tarty fruity hints. Overall, not excitinc as expected, but still nice session dry hoppy ale.
3.2 330ml bottle. Murky, dark golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of rhubarb, a minimally waxy touch. Taste is moderately sweet pale malty, fruity and bitter, notes of rhubarb, hints of red berries, rose hip, a slightly peppery spicy yeasty touch.
2.9 Flip-top 33cl bottle (BBD Jan 2018) between four at the November 2016 meeting of the Shrewsbury beer swap group. Thanks to me for this offering! Off-white head on a golden coloured beer, slight haze in the body. Dry finish to this, rhubarb more noticeable in the aftertaste too: strange one, but interesting, almost enjoyed it.
3.4 Bottled. 15cl sample. The aroma has definitely rhubarb, bit citrus, pine. Bit hazy, golden coloured beer with a slight off-white head. The taste is light bitter, has rhubarb, herbal flowery tones, some citrus. Medium bodied beer. Nice.
3.0 Keg at The Cellar, Chester. Hazy golden. Short white head. Smells quite vegetal. Tastes initially sweet with rhubarb flavour, then becoming more of a standard IPA. Walks the line between fruit beer and IPA but not in a way that grabs my taste buds.
3.3 bottle bbe 11/17 chiara dorata buona schiuma discreta persistenza naso strano quasi acidulo rabarbaro fruttato in bocca tendenza seccha amara erbaceo leggero fruttato finale piuttosto asciutto un filo citrico
3.6 Lett tåkete brungult uten skum. Kjenner den syrlige rabarbraen i duften sammen med gress og røde Bær . Rabarbra også i smaken sammen med grønt eple. Behagelig bitterhet.
2.3 From memory. I found this beer severely unbalanced. Less rhubarb and more of sn acidic tongue burning acrid taste. The spicy yeast notes only made this beer more difficult to finish (which i didn’t). Too hot and not enough beer notes. I love rhubarb but this
2.6 Really old notes. Had to be a real agent to get this on ratebeer. Notes say that its greasy and smells like fish.
3.3 Bottle. Clear golden pour. Aroma of fruity hops, somewhat floral, citrus. Flavor is quite bitter, slightly sour and refreshing. A bit thin body and a little off balance.
3.5 Backlog rating. GBBF 2015. It pours a clean rich golden color with a small off white head. Aroma is tangy sweet hops with notes of orange peel, apricot marmalade and straw. Taste is more crisp citric with notes of orange peel, straw, starch and light rhubarb and red berries. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall, ok.
3.0 33 cl, bottled. Pours clear orange with small white head. Aroma: Rhubarb, fruits, grapefruit. Hints of toffee. Taste: Medium sweet, some bitterness. Toffee, fruits, rhubarb. Quite pleasant. Grassy after flavour. Palate: Light-medium body, dry aftertaste. Grassy, some tartness. Nod bad spiced IPA..
3.2 Arômes de rhubarbes et même de framboises omniprésentes. Robe pâle dorée. En bouche, c’est plus le côté fruité que houblonné qui ressort. Intéressant, mais pas assez subtile à mon goût et déroge trop du style.
