4.4Hazy golden color with a large creamy white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Toasty, pils malt, grass, citrus, wheat, pepper, dry finish.
4.0Bottle at home in London - picked up at Caps and Taps. Pours hazy orange-gold with a big, frothy, pure white head. Lots of dried, flaked wheat in the aroma, some lemon peel, mellow yeast expression, sourdough, crispy grains. Light-medium sweet flavour with further citrus peel, soft bitter hay, more biscuits, pale grains, nips of grass, white grape, peach. Medium bodied with active, massaging carbonation. Finishes with smooth biscuits, mild lemon peel, grass, soft saison yeast, a little more white grape, straw. It’s kind of like laying your head on a fluffy pillow. This one doesn’t wow at the outset, but the more I drink the better it gets. Wonderful stuff.
3.6Bottle shared with Koelschtrinker.
Meh. 10/8/7/7/8/7
4.1Cloudy, golden pour with thick, fine rocky white foam that lasts. Lots of musty yeast in the nose and notes of floral, grassy, barnyard, and peppery elements. The herbal / floral notes come out strongly in the taste with an initially dry, vinous finish. A distinct malt presence gives the beer a slightly slippery texture and slightly sour finish. But there is a tart acidity in the yeast that is, perhaps, picked up by the hops that balance the malt and wheat sweetness. The body is medium / light body with moderate fizz. The minerally notes are less present here. A fruitier saison than Dupont’s flagship.
3.6(Bottle, 0.375 l - BBE 02/2020, at One Pint Pub, 20170703) The beer poured deep golden and mostly clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had spiciness, grass, fruitiness and Belgian style yeast. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were spiciness, fruitiness, grass, Belgian style yeast, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was spicy, fruity, hoppy and bitter. A pleasant hoppy saison.
3.837,5cl bottle. Hazy dark gold color. Thin white head. Taste is medium. Medium body. Dry body. Aroma and flavour is pepper, yeast, hops, leaves, pineapple, tangerine.
3.9Botella. Hazy golden colour with a big fairly well lasting white head leaving a good lacing. Pleasant fresh tart flowery herbal citrus hoppy aroma. Good mouthfeel. Flavour: tart, lots of flowery hops, some spice, sweet like, citrus, dry, very nice!
3.6375ml bottle. Bier Huis, Ossett. Shared with the missus, and I had the bottom half, so it’s really hazy, vibrant gold. Thick, foamy, lacing, white head. Lovely looker. Nose has Dupont yeast. Some lemon. White pepper. Green peppercorn. Some baked apple. Some ripe banana. Taste is a little bready and sweet. Some dryness. Soft and foamy mouthfeel. Some hop spice on the finish, and a dryness on the close.
4.3Bottle (375 ml) from Systembolaget. Clear to shady straw golden, large white head. Classical Duponnt house aroma, with floral and slightly citric hops. Really good stuff.
4.5375ml bottle. Milky, yellow-ish, bright golden colour with average to huge, fluffy, mostly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Fruity, spicy, floral and herbal, hoppy and yeasty aroma, notes of dill, white pepper, mustard seed, underlying fruity notes of apricot, peach and quince, embedded in some malty sweetness. Taste is initially mellow malty, fruity, with dry and bitter hoppy overtones, then blossoms into full development, with herbal, spicy and tart-ish fruity flavours, minimally dusty, yeasty spiciness, notes of apricot, peach, mirabelle, some sage and bay leaf, a touch of white pepper, mustard seed, green apple; soft palate, excellent gentle carbonation. A work of art!
3.5Kolor i nagazowanie odpowiednie, w zapachu lekki chmiel, trochę fenoli. W smaku fenole, lekka, przyjemna goryczka, trochę nut winnych i przyprawowych.
Textura acuosa y efervescente. Aroma frutal (pera, manzana),floral, a hierba, húmedo.
3.829-04-17 // bottle shared at Le Petit Belge, Wiesbaden. Hazy orange beer, solid head. nose is light yeast, floral hops. Taste is light yeasty, grassy, floral, mild bread. Well carbonated, light funky. Mild hoppy bitter finish.
4.0Bottle. Nose is softly funky, floral, yeast, very light tropical notes, lime. Taste is funky leading to grapefruit, lime, citrus, and a dry mineral finish with pepper and spice. Mouthfeel is clean with a sharp carbonation.
3.8375ml corked bottle@home in Trappist glass@approx 10 degrees C. Pours hazy light golden orange with medium white head with short retention leaving the "Belgian clotting" in a thin white cover over the beer. Aroma of citrus, yeast, grass and fresh bread. Taste reflects aroma but with a distict hoppiness and peppery spiciness also kicking in. Medium body and effervescent mouthfeel with a long, lingering aftertaste. The added hoppiness to a great Belgian saison took a little getting used to, but I enjoyed the beer more and more as I drank it. Still prefer the Vielle Provision from the Dupont brewery though - more traditional and better balanced.
4.0A 375ml corked and caged bottle, 2016 cork with a best before date of July 2019. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku. It was a hazy golden orange colour with a two finger white head that dissipated fairly quickly and left nice lacing. Aromas of sweet juicy mandarin, orange, lemon, grass, yeast and pepper spice. Taste follows the aroma closely with citrusy mandarin, orange, lemon, hay, grass, yeast and pepper spice. Starts sweet, ends lightly bitter. Dry, light to medium bodied with high carbonation. Overall, another great, easily drinkable Saison from Dupont.
3.4Super decent Belgian classic with a twist. Not power hopped, but maintains its classic, Belgian estery flavours. Slightly grassy.
3.6.375 bottle. Golden hazy. Light grassy hoppynose, citrussy herby, belgy saisonny spicy, duponty yeastyness. Med full bdoied, sparkly, nice intensity. Spicy saisonny, easy good drinkability still. Flavourful nice. Didnt know Id missed dupont this much, real ncie experience. Still unsure about dry-hopping belgy beers, nice to try always tho.

4.0Bottle. Pale golden with a nice foamy head. Lovely lacing. Aroma of apples, citrus fruits, earthy and herbal hops and hay. Taste is earthy, fruity, yeasty, sour and bitter. Citrus fruits and apples. Herbs. Bitter and very dry finish. Tres brut. Medium carbonation. Nice one.
3.9On tap at BBF. Golden colour with white head. Yeast, spices and fruity aroma. Yeast, spices, sweet, fruity, hoppy taste. MEdium body.
4.1pours hazy and almost cloudy pale golden with a frothy and creamy white head offering good retention and lacing. fresh minty herbs, lightly sulphuric brewers gold, spicy and herbal nobleness, creamy orchard fruitiness, warming wooden alcohol, lots of spices - cardamom, exotic peppercorns; stunning dupont yeast action - fruity, zesty, spicy and lightly estery; some indigenous traces, salt. bright and fluffy carbonation, light body - silky texture; drying grassy-herbal-spicy finish. another solid dry-hopped saison from dupont.
4.1Der Brewers Gold bringt erdige Würzhopfflavours ins ansonsten makellose Saison. And let the summer begin. 375ml für ca. 4€. BEYOND BEER HH.
4.0Pours a hazy golden with a medium white head that leaves nice lacing. Nose is of classic Saison Dupont pepper and herbs but this time it feels (even more) fresher, must be from the dryhopping. Taste is more of the pepper, fresh hops, some cereals. Gently bitter as always. Dry. Body is medium, carbonation moderate. A might fine saison! I could drink this all the time... better start brewing again!
3.9Thanks Poljo! Hazy yellow gold with a white head. Fresh full herbal-citric hoppy aroma. Full carbonation blast, excellent blend of lemony and herbal hoppiness both with the carbonation and the saisonish backgroind with its phenolic touches. Excellent!
