3.0Cask at The Battersea Beer Festival on 11/02/2010. Nice to get some Cascade hops at this time. This beer was solid, but a tad too malty to really let the hops sing.
3.3Bottle from Beers of Europe. Simply called "Saltaire Cascade" and is 4.9%.
Appearance - golden amber with a nicely neat head.
Nose - orange, almost going into blood orange.
Taste - orange again but then it's all caramel. Brown bread or digestive on the very end.
Palate - fresh and light bodied, then it weirdly transforms into a sweet though slightly crunchy middle and finish.
Overall - started out a pale Ale, finished off a bitter. But quite enjoyable.
3.3Ale. Plain easy drinking. Not that memorable
2.9Floral bitter pale ale. Only ok not much more
3.0Pretty OK but nothing to write to home about. Aroma is quite muted and not really offering anything.
3.3It was OK, fairly ordinary American Pale, didn't dislike it but it didn't really make any lasting impression
2.9Bottle from Morrisons, Birtley. Pale golden coloured with a very thin white head. It has a toffee, citrus and pine flavour with a smooth earthy and caramel finish. Pretty good.
3.2Cask at the Antelope in Surbiton. Medium hops, grassy, pleasant bitterness in finish. Nice beer.
2.9Butelkę. Aromat mocno slodowy, słodki, zbożowy, może jakieś masełko nawet. Średnie ciało, niska goryczka. Ot ordinary ale
3.0From cask. Light, yellow gold with a thinnish body. A little sweet, malty and biscuity. Okay, but nothing special
2.8Butelka 500ml. Bursztynowy kolor. Piana niezbyt obfita o białym kolorze, opada szybko. Aromat dość nikły, slodowo-owocowy,karmel,ciastka i chlebowe skórki. W smaku bardzo podobnie.Slody biorą górę ,podparte przez karmel, tosty i skórki chlebowe, trochę ziarnistych posmaków. Gdzie cytrusy?na finiszu jedzie trochę apteką...
2.7Bottled 500ml. -at Craft Room Zagreb. Pale golden coloured, small to medium sized white head, weak citrusy nose. Sweetish malty, mild citrusy, light flowery hoppy and slightly bready. Short watery finish. Thin overall.
3.0Boiled sweet and citrus aroma. Marmalade bitterness that lasts. A little malt and hops. Some tropical notes but not over pronounced. Quite a refreshing brew for a summers eve but not a stand out.
3.3Bottle from Waitrose in Canary Wharf. A smooth and pleasant English style pale ale that started Saturday evening. We had been to visit my mother-in-law in hospital during the afternoon and this was very welcome, cutting through the fug from the heat and dryness of the visit. I've never liked going to hospitals, but the beer was a welcome reward.
2.8Bottle. Nose is yeast, fruity, malt. Taste is malty, fruit, grapefruit and lime bitterness. Caramel and herbal hop notes. It's fine.
2.7Cask. Pint glass. Copper colour, thin creamy head. A bit of Lacing down the glass. A bit characterless if I'm honest. Inoffensive enough, but not much happening in either aroma or taste. Not sure I'd be getting much less out of a pint of Boddingtons.
2.7Is that comic sans on the front label? Wow! Bubblegum and caramel aroma. Brilliant amber color with small sized white head. Fine fruity taste, some caramel, bready finish. Watery, soft carbonation. //bottle at Craft Room
3.0Bottle. Clear golden body, white head. Light flowery hoppy aroma, slightly too light. Soft taste, clean, light berry Cascade comes on later on, quite fine, but overall, this was even more subdued than the much lighter South Island Pale... But a well executed quaffer nonetheless.
3.0Big floral, herbal and grassy notes in both aroma and flavour. Quite dry but decent.
3.4500 ml bottle, from Ales By Mail. ABV is 4.8%. Golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of fruity, floral and herbal hops. The flavour has a slight sweetness with a little fruit, followed by herbal hops. Fairly bitter finish.
4.0Very drinkable. A good beer
3.2Bottled @ Vallentuna Golfklubb. Clear pale amber, mid-size white head, some lacing. Caramel and mild citrus aroma, grains and pale malts. Crisp mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Citrus zesty taste, grapefruit, orange and caramel. Dry finish with mild grassy bitterness.
3.4On tap at Richmond Vault. A clear dark golden beer with a small off-white head. Aroma of grassy bitter hops mild fruity hops, toasted malt. Taste of mild citrusy bitter hops, flowers, toasted malt.
3.2Cask @ Stafford Beer & Cider Festival. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are fruits, flowers, grass, straw and malt. Nice bitter finish.
3.1Cask at The Green Dragon, Leek (JDW) A clear deep golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma of lemon, orange, some boiled sweets, subtle straw and slight floral hops. Taste of lemon, orange, some boiled sweets, a hint of straw, subtle caramel and slight floral hops. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A dry, flora hop bitterness in the finish. A very simple, American hopped cask pale ale. Citrus and floral notes from the hops and a subtle straw and caramel malt balance. Decent.
2.8Cask at the caley picture house. Pours clear golden amber, nose is cheesy, herbal, toffee, taste is quite sweet, grassy, herbal.
3.3A clear bright golden amber colour with a small foamy white head. The aroma is a light malty toffee, citrus orange with some grassy notes. A light sweet grassy flavour with an orange peel tartness and lingering dry bitter finish.
3.5Cask, quarterly ale, 1/2 pint, hand-pulled at Hengler’s Circus, Glasgow on 14 Jan 2017, toffee, citrus aroma, golden Amber with a thin short-lived bubbly head and sparse patterned lacing, more toffee, citrus flavours, well balanced, good carbonation.
3.2Pale amber rather than gold, this had the typical citrus aromas and flavours of American hops but it also had a reasonable malt presence too, making it a more mellow offering than many of its ilk.
3.3Pint at the Ring Southwark. Pours gold with modest thickness head, which lasts. Perhaps a bit over-carbonated. Soft aroma of hay and cinder toffee. Aggressively dry, certainly refreshing. Ok, but more an IPL than APA, and not much depth. Good first pint thirst quencher.
