5.0 Phenomenal citrus hop delight! Pours cloudy with massive foamy head. Wonderful hop aroma that carries to the mouth a left me on cloud nine. Beer perfection.
3.9 can. Poured hazy amber-orange, floaties, with a thin head of white. Typical herbal hoppy aroma. Medium bodied, crisp carbonation, sweet juicy mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet and equally bitter, notes of grapefruit, pineapple, orange peel, slight peppery finish.
4.7 I love ipa more than any other beer. At gate b5 in the SA airport. I may be here every sun. Light body, beautiful lace, abundant foam, appearing aroma.
4.0 Hazy, could have a better crisp hop finish.
3.1 Kroger can. Hazy to murky gold with a giant soft off-white head. Heavy resin as the first aroma I notice? Hmmm... Minor citrus behind it. Flavor is resin, caramel, citrus. Uh. Sure it's hazy, but this doesn't seem to fit the style in any other NEIPA I've tasted.
3.5 16oz can at JFK. Hazy yellow-orange pour with big puffy head. Aroma is juicy citrus and pine dankness. Taste is is pine bitterness with some lemon zest. Balanced by malty bread sweetness. Not bad.
3.3 473 ml can from the LCBO. Pours a cloudy dull orange colour with small off-white head. Aroma is citric and grassy with a bit of pine and grains. Flavour has pithy grapefruit, grass, resin and light grains. Some bitterness in finish. Solid but there are a lot of better local options for the style.
4.8 One of the best tasting east coast IPAs on the market. Lighter than most IPAs, it’s very drinkable on a hot day. Not too fruity, but the grapefruit flavor is unmistakable but not overpowering. Delicious. Highly recommended.
3.7 I poured it from the can into a shaker. It pours a hazy orange with a nice, white head and lacing. The aroma is citrus, tropical fruit, and pine hops. The taste is refreshing and bitter. There's orange, grapefruit, mango, and nice hop bitterness. This is good.
3.0 can from the lcbo. Hazy orange pour, with a large white head. Tropical fruit notes, some citrus, and candied citrus rind. low bitterness, lightly pithy, light cereals. Fruit fades quickly, finish is dry. run of the mill for the style.
4.1 hazy golden colour, large, dense white head, which lasts for several minutes; aroma of pine, citruses, tropical fruits (mainly unripe pineapple) and some biscuity notes; taste is basically the same with some syrupy sweetness; great IPA
3.7 Can - Pours a hazy gold-orange with a 2 finger white cp...pungent aromas of grin, citrus, tropical fruit, floral...great nose for a commercial brew....flavor follows aroma...big chewy malts balanced with citrus-pine bittering....juicy bitter finish...best of the large-scale brewers NEIPAs... juicy bitterness, somooth and rounded....and satisfying....true to style
3.3 Pours orange hazy with average white head that sticks around and leaves lacing behind. Not overly hopped up, with average carbonation. Medium body with oily texture. Juicy taste to it. Slight taste of zesty orange.
4.0 As i browsed on the LCBO website, saw this one, and could pick it up in only selected few locations (1 in Ottawa), did a little journey west for it, pleased to have found it, a nice tasty and rich NEIPA. Worth it.
2.5 Fresh can at LCBO, first day. Expiry date, whatever that would imply, is about 2 months away. Hop aroma when poured, lots of lasting head. The taste is weak.Dry mouthfeel.
3.0 On tap at TGI Friday's Miami Beach. Okay around average IPA. Nothing special or super characteristic about this one. Good for a friday night.
2.7 It's OK but there are so many better IPA's out there. Newburyport's Green head is much better as is Peak's organic IPA in case you like your beer without Monsanto. How it looks is irrelevant to the taste. The aroma is noncommital not fruity or hay scented. Taste is hoppy but undistinguished, kind of like an upper class less piney version of old Ballentine. Mouthfeel is good and as with every beer these days it comes in cans when I prefer bottles. It was recommended to me by a guy in the beer aisle who was picking up some packs of Summer Shandy by Lienkenstruddle. I should have known better. The only good beer Asm made was Tasman Red and of course it was too good to continue making.
3.7 Can - Pours a hazy golden with a citrus aroma. Juicy mouthfeel with some sweet citrus and some bitterness. Tasty.
3.5 On draft at Park Plaza Hotel Boston. Bright and hazy yellow gold, nice white head. Aroma of grapefruit and tropical fruit, flavour is a little muted but still present. Nice tropical fruit finish
4.3 Can 12 fl oz. Hazy orange with a white creamy head. Great fresh hoppy nose, orange peel, pineapple and som pine. Juicy taste, great. Despite being an NEIPA is still has a lsigt bitter finish. Just as I like it.
4.3 From a can to a glass. Pours a hazy orange color with a monster frothy creamy head. Aroma is Citrusy tropical fruits, oranges, tangerines, pineapple, guava, grapefruit, pine, mango. Taste follows the aroma well with a medium mouthfeel. Amazing Ipa!
4.3 The ideal IPA for those hot summer days. The IBU rating of 35 seams fitting, it's not as hoppy as most IPA's but it does come through with excellent notes of orange with out completely losing the bitter twang of hops that we all have grown to love. This beer is most certainly well crafted and packs a fair punch, though if you're looking for a more traditional IPA this is on the lighter side of things bother in hops and potency. That being said I would put this high on my list for beach IPA's.
3.5 Decent, exciting taste throughout, before going a bit off track at the end. Like successfully navigating the majority of a first date, only to forget where you are, and attempt a subtle check of football score on your phone while waiting on desert. Your date notices. They always notice. And now they think you’re bored by their detailed explanation of their family tree. Not a bad date but unlikely to be a sequel.
4.1 7/1/19 With Sarah & Gdad hanging out at Sharondale. Big fruity tropical nose with lots of pineapple. Taste is bright with lots of fruity > floral hops. Touch of sweetness and light bitterness at the end. Palate is med with decent carbonation. Dry finish with slight bitterness. Overall, a downright excellent NEIPA. Juicy and fruity while still keeping some pithy bitterness and still clearly an IPA. Love it!
3.8 Pint from draft at Newark airport. Smells of citrus and grapefruit. Hazy yellow in color. Well balanced. Tastes juicy. I get hints of orange and grapefruit, with a mildly bitter citrus finish.
3.7 Can to pint at Orlando airport pour hazy orange gold with moderate white head. Nose moderate juicy tropical fruit. Taste not bad. Not as juicy as most NEPAs, but acceptable.
3.4 Frischer hopfiger Beginn, wenig bitter. Moderat getreidig, wenig süß, Mango, etwas Banane. Steigend bitter, frisch bleibend, mittellanger Abgang, erkennbarer Alkohol. 10/11/10/11/10/11
3.6 473ml can. Pours a hazy orange-amber with a medium, foamy, long lasting, off-white head that leaves plenty of lace. Dank aroma of bready pale malt, grapefruit, orange, mango, peach and pineapple. Sweet flavour of pale malt, orange, tangerine, grapefruit rind, pineapple, peach and mango in a dry, mild bitter, spicy hop finish. Medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Well made. Nicely done.
3.5 It wasn't bad for a Sam Adam's. Didn't pour as hazy as I would have liked but had a decent taste.
3.7 Pours a cloudy gold. Smell of tropical fruits, pineapple, guava, and passion fruit. Taste is sweet and slightly bitter. Fits the style well and is very accessible.
