Samuel Adams Octoberfest

Samuel Adams Octoberfest

The first thing you notice when pouring a glass of this seasonal beer is the color. Samuel Adams® Octoberfest has a rich, deep golden amber hue which itself is reflective of the season. Samuel Adams® Octoberfest is a malt lover’s dream, masterfully blending together four roasts of barley to create a delicious harmony of sweet flavors including caramel and toffee. The beer is kept from being overly sweet by the elegant bitterness imparted by the German Noble hops. Samuel Adams® Octoberfest provides a wonderful transition from the lighter beers of summer to the winter’s heartier brews.

3.5 Bottle. Toasted malt aroma with notes of caramel and toffee malt. Pours clear copper colored with a thin tan head that has good retention and some lacing. Starts with sweet caramel and toffee malt flavors. Finishes smooth toasted malt flavors joining the sweet malt. Pretty good Oktoberfest.
3.6 Nice copper color. Light head. A solid oktoberfest, could be a little more malty.
4.4 A top notch Octoberfest beer. Beautiful color and the traditional October taste. Look forward to it every year!
3.3 Malty aroma. Malty biscuits flavor. Nice Octoberfest beer.
4.7 For an Octoberfest beer you cannot go wrong here. The flavor is good lot of malty notes that makes it a smooth finish.
4.5 Muito suave, baixa acidez e caramelizada, excelente cerveja que não necessita acompanhamentos.
2.9 Thick foamy head pours a brown copper color lots of carbonation smell of malts smooth taste malts
4.5 A very smooth tasting beer . Beautiful color . Second year having it . Most of the time I've had it on draft at a local establisment . Went through a local drive through and saw they had 12 packs of it . It was in cans , so i was skeptical , got it and brought it home . Poured 2 cans in a large glass , and i wasnt disappointed . Tastes the same as draft . Sam Adams never seems to disappoint .
3.5 Kind of metallic taste
2.5 Amber with big head and lacing. Found this to have a more sour aroma than other Octoberfest.
3.6 Samuel Adams ocktober offers a vary easy drinking beer beautiful color and a mouthful of flavor for your average generic bunch it's a worthy choice
2.4 On tap at Serum's. Copper color, very little aroma. Well balanced beer. A little sweet with a mild bitterness. Nothing special.
4.9 Great crisp taste. Has the sweetness just like they describe but just enough hops to keep it from being overly sweet. Perfect fall beer- best enjoyed outside :)
5.0 Buenísima cerveza
4.5 Nice crisp taste. Great drink to have on Oktoberfest. Not too heavy like IPAs and smooth aftertaste. Brewing method very clean as well.
3.5 Very tasty breads kind of tomato sweet
3.8 I’ve tried several import and domestic and this one is very good! Smooth on the palate. Four malts! Mild not overly sweet finish! Wished it held a head longer. Taste is malty but refined. Actually a deal when on sale at Kroger’s/PicknSave at 9.99/12 pack! Watch for the coupons and enjoy the Fall! Prosit!
3.1 Bottle, drink before February 2020. Deep amber color with a thin non-existent off-white head. Sweet Malt bread-like aroma. It opens with notes of sweet malt. The flavor progresses to caramel and toffee and finishes with light to moderate hoppiness. The mouthfeel is light and effervescent with some earthiness. Overall the balance of malt to hops is tilted to the malt with the sweetness dominating the flavorSweet malty finish with a bitter aftertaste.
3.2 Holds itself up well, but the finish gives it away, like when someone’s cleaning up at poker, and you’re all impressed, but then the aces slip from their long sleeves
3.0 Couleur légèrement orangée. Mousse onctueuse. Forte effervescence. Arome de malt assez prononcé. Assez bon équilibre. Manque un peu de caractère.
4.1 Malty, but not as sweet as I'd normally expect for a Märzen. Still, great job in achieving both drinkability and full body.
1.3 I wanted to like this so badly, but from when I first picked it up and smelled it, to the first sip and each one thereafter, it reminded me quite viscerally of my community indoor pool. It had such a strong chlorine smell and taste that despite it having a gorgeous color, I couldn’t drink it without thinking I was drinking pool water. I’m not much of a beer person, so I have no idea what people are talking about by calling it strong. It barely tasted like beer.
3.5 Red brown hue with light head. Aroma is malty. Taste is malt with light caramel but not over sweet. Medium carbonation. Quite pleasant
4.8 Great beer! This years seems a little better than last years. Just the perfect blend of pow.
4.0 Reddish color. Malt forward taste with caramel and a little vanilla. Very drinkable.
1.0 The new Octoberfest is not as good as it used to be. We liked the smoothness of it now if has an extremely bitter aftertaste like and IPA so no more Sam Adams at that was the only one we always looked forward to
3.0 355ml Flasche. Klar und bernsteinfarben mit minimaler Schaumkrone. Malzig. Würzig. Etwas Karamell im Antrunk. Leichter Körper. Milder Abgang.
2.0 Frosted Mugs at Chile's when I went to St Joes. pours amber orange with medium head. Notes of sweet malt, cardboard, sweet fruit, and lager. Light bodied and overly carbonated
3.2 0,355l bottle. Pours dark hazy amber. Lots of malt, some yeast. Caramel and toffee. Smooth and nicely balanced. Bitter finish.
5.0 Wish this was not a seasonal beer.
