2.9Historical tick. Have resisted doing it but want to see how they impact my stats. Cough medicine.
3.8Butelka. Bardzo ładny rubinowy ,opalizujący kolor. Piana ,średnia ,biała z lekkim różowym nalotem, opada szybko. Intensywny wiśniowy aromat,w tle lekkie nuty likieru.
4.0355ml (5.1%) at home on 11 May 2020, purchased on 5 May 2020 (bbe Dec 2021): scented cherry aroma, deep orange amber, good cream head, fine film of lacing, sweet cherry flavour, little toffee, viscous, good carbonation, sweet finish.
3.4355ml bottle from Cannon Hall Farm Shop - Cloudy ruby body, short lived white head. Nose has all the hallmarks of maraschino cherry, Cherry B, cherryade. Taste is almost kriek-like, but ends with the same jammy sweetness as the other three in this series. Best of the four mind you.
2.4Bottle at Bishops Arms Sundbyberg. Reddish/amber with a small head. Sweet with grain, artificial cherry and some bread. The body was light. A boring one to be honest.
3.3Deep purple red color. Massive slightly sticky cherry nose. Overpowering. Medium carbonation, sweet not overly complex. Meh
3.2Clear ruby appearance with a white head and light pink hues. Aroma of sweet cherries, mild grain and light juicy notes. Similar flavor, adding moderate sweetness and a touch of acidity. Light to medium body with a smooth feel and a lingering cherry finish.
3.3Reddish amber with a one finger wide head.
Floral smell of Maraschino cherries and almonds. In taste the cherry dominates, but it also has a certain satisfying maltiness with a bitter hoppy ending.
3.3I'm a huge fan of cherry beer, I will pretty much buy anything with cherry in. Pinkish\amberish cherry colour - think cranberry juice rather than cherryade. Aroma of sweet Cherry, almond, icing sugar - pretty much like Bakewell Tart. Taste is sweet cherry, very very mild hops, some slightly earth notes. Finish is short with a sweet aftertaste. Good.
4.1Poured from bottle to glass. The color is cherry brown and the head is light and colored white with a slight pink hue. The smell is of sour ale but the taste is anything but. It is a definite cherry juice flavor with hints of hops shining thru. Great enjoyable beer.
4.4Not as fantastic as the Lindemans I had in Denali, but I’m starting to develop a taste for these great fruit ales. Savoury, very sweet, and fruity, a bit more harsh the the Lindemans. Still, a great surprise.
3.2550 ml. Bottle. Pours a medium slight red toned, well retained head, with curtain lacing, over a clear, purple red (SRM 18) body......nose is cherry, with tones of cola, minimal malts, herbal hop tones, balance to the fruit......taste is moderately sweet, with cherry tones, mild malts slight wheat, herbal hop tones, finishing drier with moderate hop bitterness and slight hints of cherry sourness......mouth feel, medium light, slightly sticky body, no alcohol, high carbonation. The base beer is dominated by the fruit addition, but it is drinkable although relatively simple.
3.2330ml bottlePleasant aroma of fruit and berries. Cherry Coke sweetness in the nose. Palate is inoffensive cherry juice. Overall it's too sweet and subdued to feel like a beer, and not complex and fleshed out enough to feel like a lambic. It's a perfectly OK fruit beer, and refreshing on a hot day, but nothing you'll exactly be writing home about.
3.3550ml bottle. Pours like a deep red wine with substantial rose colored foam head. Pleasant aroma of fruit and berries. Cherry Coke sweetness in the nose. Palate is inoffensive cherry juice. This one is only mildly tart, as compared to the sour pucker of the Samuel Smith's Raspberry Ale. Overall it's too sweet and subdued to feel like a beer, and not complex and fleshed out enough to feel like a lambic. It's a perfectly OK fruit beer, and refreshing on a hot day, but nothing you'll exactly be writing home about.
3.6Příjemně nasládlá chuť s výrazným aroma višní.
3.2Pours darkrr ruby red, topped with smaller and nonlasting white head. Quite intense sweet, syrupy cherry nose. Sweet cherry start with some soury cherry hints and milder bittery feel in the finish. A bit too sugary sweet, but ok.
2.4Big cherry aroma. Pours a great deep red color. Flavor is major cherry fruit with some hop bitterness sneaking in with middle and finish to give this brew some crispness on the palate. Moderately carbonated. Pungent syrupy cherry flavor while ice cold, but becomes a nice sipper and mellows as it warms up. Probably go well with some cheeses. Gotta be prepared for this one and certainly in the mood for a sweeter beverage. As I make my way through the 550ml bottle, about 3/4 of the way down this brew becomes cloying and repetitive. I think an entire bottle of this brew is too much.
3.2Sample@Ølfestival København 2018 (Day 3) - red amber pour with a white pinkish head. Light tart fruity with prominent notes of cherry fruit, light to medium body, cherry fruity close.
3.0550ml bottle. Pours a slightly hazy red with a medium, foamy, long lasting, pink head that laces nicely. Sweet fruity aroma dominated by cherries. Sweet fruity flavour of cherry, wheat malt, bread and earthy yeast with a dry, tart finish. Light body with a watery texture and soft carbonation. An easy drinking, tasty fruit beer (for those who like cherries).
3.7550 ml bottle at the Winking Lizard Peninsula Ohio. Thin rose color head. Little bit of lace on the glass. Reddish in color and very unique looking brew. You can really smell and taste the cherries. Smooth. A little fizzy, cherry after taste. Just another fine beer from Sam Smith's Cheers!
2.30.335 l bottle from K-Citymarket Ruoholahti, Helsinki. Appearance is red. This is a sweet cherry beer. OK, even sweeter ones exist, but this is still a bit too sweet. Needs unpasteurised ale with lactic acid and all kinds of microbes to make this more interesting.
Gut trinkbar.
2.8Bottle from beerhive. Nose is amarena cherry, a tad artificial. Palate is the Same sweet cherry at the start, then some bitterness with cherry mixed in, which works better. Doesn't work as well as the apricot one (which I might have overrated a year ago). Ok.
2.1355ml bottle shared with Steinar at the Samuel Smith’s pub Angel Inn. Diminishing pink coloured head leaving lacing rings on the glass. Next to clear,
deep amber-red body. Berry skins on the nose. Taste of sweet cherry juice and almond. Ends sweet. Not a favourite, way too sweet. (Leeds 04.07.2017).
2.7Bottle bought @Salling Super
Sweet, obvious cherry, small amounts of bitter
4.0Hazy ruby, fizzy with a pinkish head and sticky lacing. Aroma is pure cherries. If you don’t like cherries leave this alone, they have used real cherries here and u can feel it, it tastes of the fruit, not artificial flavours. Not overly sweet, very smooth and creamy, lively carbonation, long finish. Very nice fruit beer. Loving it!
4.6Great taste not your typical beer flavor. If you like cherry you will love this, tastes like real cherry not some fake imitation flavor. It is not too sweet either. I like this flavor a lot.
2.5Bottle. Cherry red colour. Cherry aroma. Very cherry fruity taste. Almonds in the taste. Sweet with fizzy carbonation. Slight fruity sourness. Rather cloying cherry candy aftertaste. (2008)
