A full-bodied lager with lots of malt and hop character. A touch hoppier than many lagers yet perfectly balanced with lots of fruity hop character and fragrance.

2.7Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from Cigarette City. Appearance is clear, highlighter yellow with minimal sparkle, less than finger-width white foamy head with poor retention and trace lacing. Aroma is English hops and cracker malts, light fruit. Taste is as aroma. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with watery texture, soft carbonation and crisp, nondescript finish. Overall, softer and fuller than most lagers, light fruit and English hops make presence known more than average lager, but nothing special.
2.8Hazed pale golden color with a fine white head. Ok lacing. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium body and an average carbonation. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Malty, mild grain, mild fruity and herbal flavor. Decent and easy to drink.
[On tap at Anchor Tap (Tower Bridge) in London, England]
3.1Bottle. Clear yellow color, fluffy white head. Aroma has a quick whiff of sulphur, then corn and cereal. Taste is very lightly bitter straw. Decent.
3.216.9 oz bottle pours golden with a white head. Aroma and taste of grass, grain and caramel.
2.4355ml bottle bb03/2016, Maruhn. Unspectacular lager offering by subtle ale masters SS: artificial carbonations results in a rougher prickle, transporting: cornsweet biscuit grains, an inkling of grassy-herbal hops going on lemonade soon stuck in dusty grain, dried celery leaving a dry papery finish with a dungy vegetable twang. Subpar to many a Bavarian Helles, obviously flawed but still drinkable.
3.3500ml bottle. A pleasant light refreshing lager, one of the best I have tried.
2.5Pale, light golden colour, white head. Malty aroma, light hops, light paper. Light bitter flavour, quite sweet, biscuit. FInish malts and paper.

3.4I found the softness of this beer, in the mouth feel and the hopping to be the winning feature. It’s a very easy, chill drink. Malty, toasty, moderately hopped that is I’d say a more gentle drink.
3.3550ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of corn, cooked green beans, light malt. Taste is more of the same. Clean, crisp finish.
3.712 ounce bottle. Very nice clean lager aroma and taste. If you have a few extra bucks to spare and want a lager, this is your choice.
2.7It is alright. Nice beery aroma and a descent taste. Left a bit of a funky taste though.
3.2Bottle @ home. Pours with a pale gold clear colour, small frothy white head. Aroma is mdium malty, with notes of bread, and slightly hoppy, with some notes of hay; not very intense. Taste is slightly sweet, slightly bitter. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. An ok lager, but nothing really special.
3.5Reminds me of a nice German helles lager, very much cereal grains, but full of flavor. Tends to the sweet side, with a bit of bitter dryness at the end. The way lagers should be done.
3.0a nice sweet malt aroma. has a nice light traditional lager taste followed by some grassy malts.
3.6Good beer. More of a honeyish malt flavor than most lagers. The hops taste different too, more like the hops used in ales.
3.7Great lager. Crisp, malty, fresh, good head on first pour (thick, white). Bottle.SE14N1.
2.6Very light smell almost none, taste is unique, slightly fruity but dissipates quickly...smooth
3.3Bottle. Pours a golden color with a fair head that fades to some lacing. Aroma of malt, caramel with grain and bit of fruit. Taste of malt sweetness, caramel and grain. Mild bitterness and a fairly dry finish. Fairly light body, quite smooth with a bit of a malty feel. Bit above the typical lager.
3.8Aroma: English hops meet the nose first; lemony and slightly floral. For me, the malts set this apart; it has that slightly honeyed quality that reminds me of Czech malts. Appearance: Slightly tinted, mostly still gold pour with a foamy white head that settles into a healthy skin. Flavor: Honey cereal with touches of lemon, especially toward the finish, which is lightly bitter/semi dry. Palate: Medium body, sticky texture, soft carbonation, lightly bitter finish. Overall: England’s answer to Pilsner Urquell? Maybe I go too far, but I thought this was very nice. Would be a regular customer if this came in competitively priced six packs (or, heaven forbid, cans).
3.2"good organic beer...consistently good, a feat in itself. i like the organic ale just a touch better, but they are both quite enjoyable. this one is just a touch more bitter and lighter in color."
3.0Bottle:
Clear, light gold with a puffy white head.
Bready, light fruit/apple aroma.
Taste is mildly sweet grain malt, honey, bread.
Clean....a little towards the sweet side.
A solid, if slightly plain Lager.
3.6Süffiges Helles, nicht zu bitter BIO

2.2How: Draught.
Where: Princess Louise, London.
Appearance: Pale golden colour with a white head.
Aroma: Sweet malt, bread.
Body: Light to medium somewhat watery body, medium carbonation.
Flavour: Sweet malt, a bit metallic, bread.
3.2Half-pint (Keg) in the Cittie of Yorke, Holborn on 12th Sep 2014. Not as sweet as it’s brothers (Double Four and Taddy Lager), this golden brew has more hop flavour and aromas within it’s make up. The extra bit of ABV also seemed to set it apart from the other two lagers I drank along side this during my little tasting session. The best of the three by a long way in my opinion.
3.2Draft - Light crisp biscuit. Pale gold with a rich white head. Light, but pretty sweet biscuit. Nothing special.
4.0Nice malty aroma. Clear golden colour with good head. Hoppy bitterness shines through. Almost nectarine flavours with smooth malty finish. Light body with medium carbonation.
3.05/17/2011. Pale yellow with a white head. Grain, malt and cereal aromas with light fruit and malty flavors. Light hoppy finish. OK beer but does not impress.
2.6Keg bath hotel dewsbury. Yellow colour halo head. Aroma pale malts grain. Taste similar slight sweetness. Medium body reasonable carbonation. Ok lager.
3.3Aroma: grains, cereal, bread malts. Appearance: clear gold, medium frothy white head. Taste: light sweet. Palate: malty sweets again, but indeed, notes of floral hops. Overall: actually quite a nice Lager, very nice aroma and palate for this style. Bottle from Whole Foods Market, Kensington.
4.1Smooth and tasty lager from England. Serve chilled, not cold. One of the nicer lagers out there.
