3.4 Bottle@Jespers - Red pour with a white pinkish head. Fruity with prominent notes of raspberry, berry skin, jammy, medium to light body, raspberry fruity close.
3.3 Aroma: Strong raspberry. Flavour: Sweet raspberries with sour notes and a fruity and sugary sweet finish. Colour: Brown/red with a pink head.
2.7 Drukket på Lillehøgda. Delt med Håvard og A-L. Mørkerød. Klar bringebæraroma. Filmskum. Smaken bringebærdrops. Uvariert.
3.7 Funky sour raspberry aroma with bits of raspberries and watermelon in the body. Finish is sweet and slightly bubbly.
3.8 550ml bottle. Good looking deep brandy-colored pour with half an inch of pale fizz head. Overpoweringly tart aroma of sweet & sour berries and not much else. Palate smacks strongly of fairly pure raspberry juice with some nice ale hanging around in the background. Toward the bottom of the glass I tasted more of the ale and less of the juice. If you've tasted Lindeman's excellent Framboise, this is a decent comparison if not a poor man's version of the drink. I appreciate the attention to detail that went into brewing this. Very refreshing and tasty. Just know you're getting an out-and-out fruit beer with this one.
3.4 Bottle. Raspberry aroma, raspberry taste, raspberry finish. Light sour notes, medium sweet. Literally "malinovka".
3.9 Half beer half raspberry coolie. Lambic like for sure. Serves purpose reasonably well but could be less sweet. That's something I'd be curious to try. Purchased as single bottle at Wholefoods in Norwalk, CT.
3.1 bottle bb11/19 violacea leggera velatura discreta schiuma succo lampone zuccherato poi finale aspro
2.8 Bottle from Wholefoods. Really sweet with a raspberry marmelade flavour to it. Red body, barely any head. Would likely taste great with a few ice cubes on a hot summer's day.
4.0 Makea, pikkukirpeä. Hyvä.
3.4 Flasche 0,355l: Rubin, kräftige Trübung, feinperlig, wenig mäßig stabiler mittelporiger Schaum; frische + kräftig fruchtige Nase, dunkle/reife Himbeeren, eingelegte Beeren, leichte fruchtige Säure, Malz, Rumtopf, Schokolade; sehr frischer + sehr fruchtiger Körper, angenehme fruchtige Süße, kräftige fruchtig-herbe Säure, dunkle Beerenfrüchte, eingelegte Himbeeren, cremig, deutliche Kohlensäure, leichte Würze, Malz, Malzzucker, Schokolade; angenehmer fruchtig-herber Nachgang
3.5 Pours murky. dark ruby, medium head with a pink hue, nice lacing. Aroma dominated by raspberry juice. Tastes sweet and tart, the beer background is there, but the raspberry juice takes over. It's a fruit beer, it's supposed to taste fruity. Easy to drink and enjoyable.
3.1 Aromas of fruits, raspberry, candy and malt. Red with a pink head. Medium sweet and medium bitter. nice acidity. Medium body with average carbonation. Overall an OK Fruit Beer, quite refreshing.
3.0 550ml bottle. Pours a hazy dark magenta with a medium, creamy, long lasting, pink head that laces nicely. Sweet aroma of raspberry, rock sugar and mild pale malt. Sweet flavour of bready malt, raspberry puree and rock sugar with a dry, crisp, tart finish. Light to medium body with a sticky texture and soft carbonation. A refreshing fruit bomb that is just shy of cloying.
3.3 Pours red with pink head. Aroma is raspberry, candies, bitter, some grass, dry, juice, some sweetness. Taste is raspberry, raspberry caramel candy, candies, some juice, sweet, a bit syrup. Nice beer!
3.2 Bottle from Whole Foods Market in Redwood City, CA. Aroma is raspberry juice, fruity vitamins. Taste is raspberry syrup in soda with some mineral vitamin quality. I liked the first few sips but had to push through the rest. Not much beer backbone here.
4.0 1/15/18 Had a few sips of Abby’s after she had a long day at work. Poured from their classic 550mL bottle. Deep red with a moderate pink head. Looks great! Nose is sweet raspberries with a hint of some dark cherry. Taste is sweet, tart raspberries! Kind of darker tasting - almost like raspberry jelly. Not overpowering or too saccharine. This is delicious! Palate is thin with noticeable carbonation. Goes down easy with a surprisingly dry finish for how sweet it is. Overall, this is by far my favorite fruit beer or cider that I’ve ever had. Definitely not as fruit juice-like as others. Might have a bit of newcomer bias as this is my first foray into “craft” fruit beers but I’m a big fan. Bought it for Abby but would definitely buy it for myself as well!
3.3 On bottle @Salling. Pours red, with small foam. Nice, sweet raspberry notes. Sweet beer, excellent fruit beer. Small bitterness.
3.3 355ml bottle. Cloudy, ruby colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, pink-ish head. Sweet-ish raspberry aroma, notes of raspberry juice, raspberry pulp, without tart or earthy flavours. Taste is sweet fruity, notes of raspberry, raspberry pulp again, no tartness. Yummy, but slightly too sweet and restricted.
3.6 Bottle @home. Pours ruby red, bubbles pink but thin did not form a real head but lots of bubbles. Nose is raspberries and caramel. Taste is the same, its tart at first but then gives way to a sweet finish.
4.0 Very good beer except for some slight hints of off qualities. Princeton’s in Aroma very rich true raspberry character except for a suggestion of cleaning agents. Same thing for flavor almost perfect but some slight hints of chemicals or something.
3.7 Deep red color with small pale pink foam. Aromas sweet of raspberries and throat sweets. Palate, thin with a light body and sweet finish. Taste, sweet of raspberry jam and jam tarts also candy. Overall, nice sweet tasting fruit beer but not too sugary more jammy and natural tasting but still really sweet.
2.1 355ml bottle shared with Steinar at Angel Inn. Fading pink coloured head, dark red coloured body, near-clear. Spotty lacing down the glass. Raspberry skins on the nose. Taste of sweet raspberries, tutti frutti like, hints of almond. Sticky sweet ending. Drinkable, but not my kind of beer. (Leeds 04.07.2017).
3.9 Red with medium white head. Aroma is raspberry oak yoghurt marmelade. Taste is fruity sweet and slight honey notes with lots of sour raspberries and tasty marmelade. Nice fruity finish. Drinkable fresh and deep. Excellent.
2.8 Bottle. Pours muddy red with a white head. Aroma of candy raspberries, sugary, red current s, saftevand. Alcopoo alike. Sweet with loads of synethic raspberries.
2.9 Bottle Aroma-berries Appearance-red, clear, rouge foam Taste-medium sweetness, lightly sour, Palate-light body, thin feel, average carbonation, long finish, Overall-refreshing
3.5 small pours reddish colour. low hops fruit come through not over powering. Easy drinking. overall good beer.
3.3 550mL bottle. Pours a cranberry-colored dark red with a foamy medium pink head. Aroma is raspberry syrup/jam. Taste is similar with tart but sweet raspberry and a little malt. Decent bitterness in the finish. Medium body. Average carbonation. Sticky, creamy(isn) mouthfeel.
